- Sebastian understood it all, he did not have anybody training him to get stronger. So no one was able to push him or show him how to fight, he did that all by himself. The kid never knew what it was to get a good proper training outside of doing some push ups or pull ups on a tree branch. The lad needed all the teaching neccesary.
- However it was quite awkward to sit on his Aunts lap like he was child but even worse on the fact that she was not able to handle that much weight and pressure on her leg so that left him to wonder. Sebastian would aid her as she healed him by putting his hand down on her leg and drawing man from the earth to form some rock legs to form it's way up to her nubby knees connecting perfectly.
- "That should be just about right." He was a natural at earth magic just like the rest of the family, he got up and took his blade back up. The lad pointed it at Geno to battle with him right now, he still had to get him back for beating him in the desert after all.
- "Let's go, I challenge you to a rematch"
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- Geno watched as the two had their somewhat heartfelt moment. Xanthe attempting to ease Sebastian some and such whilst Sebastian also took in said critism and such, agreeing with the woman about his bad situation in life or something of that sort. In all honesty Geno was just trying to catch his breathe, it took him quite a lot of energy just to perform Xanthe's training, and in said process he felt like this would at least help build up his stamina. Anywyas, now that they finished talking, an interesting development came out of it all. Suddenly came walking Sebastian, calling Geno out for a rematch, amazing!
- "Uh, ya I suppose so." he'd say with a simple nod, looking over at Xanthe then, hopefully she'd been OK with it too, he didn't want to interupt their training or anything. Heck, maybe this was apart of it? Anyways, he soon turned back towards Sebastian and would nod. "If you're sure you want to go through with this then i'll gladly spar with you." he smiled even, showing he was actually prepared.
- Luckily for Geno, he figured this would actually be a good time to show if he could use his skurn without much problem like he'd practiced before hand.
- (Geno)
- Sebastian began taking his blade off his back sheath and slaming it down intot the earthened cave floors. He'd stare with eyes of tenacity and courage. The kid was sure this time he would ahve the win and there was no doubt of it too, he'd be destroying Geno this time once and for all.
- "You better go all out."
- He buffed his body up and ran at him with heavy steps created by his large body and rock armor.
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- It seems Sebastian was actually serious about going through with this, amazing. Geno didn't think he'd want to actually fight him a -third- time since he's lost the other 2. if anything, Geno could say Sebastian had a lot of endurance at least, maybe thats what made him a true Avharain, an earth magi and all. Whatever, for now, Geno wouldn't focus on that. Instead, he decided to focus on readying himself and actually being prepared to fight against Sebastian at this point. "Ok, Sebastian. Good luck to you." is all he could say then just before preparing.
- First he'd start off by conjuring his usual flames around his own body, it being used as sort of a 'barrier' or something against outside foes. Something that'd hopefully make them think twice before actually hitting him without taking caution. Anyways, with such now happening, he would then go and reach for his newly acquired staff, an old thing, though very useful. He was lucky enough to find the damn thing honestly! Now with it in hand, it was time for the main event.
- The Skurn!
- Suddenly, Geno allowed his staff to touch the ground in front of him just before lifting it up, a flame began to brew at the ground, soon fluxing its way upwards and beginning its morphing stage. The flames that he had allowed to grow and change forms had soon completely turned into that of a fire skurn standing at 7 ft. tall. With such, Geno would then go on to taking a deep breathe, finding that -right- amount of mana to insert into the skurn. Not to much, and damn sure not to little. It took him a short amount of time unlike it did weeks ago when training alone. He shot the mana into the skurn just like before, and even quicker this time around, the skurn would suddenly turn to completely face Sebastian.
- "Alright, Pyro, you know the deal, bud." Geno would somewhat whisper to the gigantic creation, only able to smirk at his actual accomplishment. Soon after he'd turn to face Sebastian, a nod given to indicate he was actually ready. For the first time ever Geno was going to use his skurn in battle, correctly at that! He had to make sure to do his best.
- (Geno)
- Geno suddenly went on to charging forward just as Sebastian had. Unlike their past battle though, he wasn't becoming fatigued in a second. So far, the skurn had been doing well with the set amount of mana it was given, and it was actually following orders! Suddenly it moved forward, fireballs launched in Sebastian's direction to quickly stop the mans movement and give Geno his opening! "Here!" he'd shout, a fire ball already shown hovering above his staff, and in just a second it was sent flying at Sebastians chest to knock him back into one of the stalagmites of the cave.
- Geno soon settled back some in order to wait for Sebastian to stand back up, he now looking towards Pyro his skurn and smiling widely. The fire skurn seemed to be doing well, it was able to follow orders, to fight, and to actually live off of the set amount of mana that Geno had given it. His practice was actually paying off here! Geno would stop his gloating for a moment though and went to focus on Sebastian once again.
- "You can stop this now if you want to, Sebastian. It isn't bad to umm...Well to know when you've lost.." though practicing was fun and all, no point in beating a dead horse really. It was just how Geno felt.
- (Geno)
- Sebastian would come at him with his blade swinging around, he was getting better at basic sword play so he shifted his body in cordination to Geno come at him with fire balls. He rushed forward and swatted at Geno with his sword, then being blasted back by a fire stream to his chest causing a very bad burn on him.
- He was acrobatically dodging fire balls and swatting them away like base balls into the rock walls that surrounded them, then he continued to rush forward. He then got bombarded by flames from the skurn aid and that really ticked him off because with the aid of that thing it was hard to get to him. From the training, it was obvious to draw a conclusion by saying Geno is way faster than Sebastian.
- "He...your magic is fast. I will not lose to you pal'. Especially not to a little kid obsessed with matches." He jeered his opponent like he always does to get them off guard
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- Once more did the two charge at each other. Suddenly, Geno was propelled forward by Sebastians earth magic, a pillar taking the young man off of his footing and sending him towards Sebastian in an instance. Before Geno knew it he was once more struck, he now being knocked down into the ground by the blunt force from Sebastian, and whilst he struggled to stand, Sebastian prepared for his next attack, luckily enough Geno had a nice friend within the battle to help him out! Suddenly the fire skurn, Pyro, had come from its original position, fire balls now being tossed over at the young man from the fire skurn, making him stumble back a bit just from the collision itself.
- Geno took that chance to then stand back up, happy it had Pyro there to actually help out, and with such, he'd soon go on to controlling his fire magic in order to send out a sudden surge of fire magic in waves that'd only cause Sebastian to once more hit the ground with a hard thud following. "You...You should just give it up, Sebastian. I don't think you're gonna be able to beat me as you are, you're gonna have to do something, or change something." A simple sigh was let out then just before he continued to stare. Maybe he'd take this chance to give up? It wasn't like Geno was tired or anything, he and Pyro seemed to still be in good shape, but Geno didn't want to, well once again, beat the dead horse.
- (Geno)
- Sebastian was lost again but he noticed he had a little bit more progress than the last time, there was actually a good chance for him to beat him with what experience he picked up from this battle. The man was clearly gaining strenght and learning how to use his blade better as he went along, the warrior would simply just raise his blade up again and did not do any speaking.
- It was a distraction to buy into his taunts. His words were nothing to him and he was trying to psyche him out, the man would then begin running forward at him with his sword held high and then striking down on him with a vertical cut fused with his mana. However what was really the question, where did this energy come from. He did not know any energy magic at all.
- "Agh!! This is the power..of an Avharain!" He was surging with mana and felt like he was revitalized as his body was buff again and he was ready to go hard on him with the strongest hits he ever done since the battle started.
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- It seemed like Sebastian wasn't going to give up, and for good reason at that. Whatever adrenaline he had within him was enough to actually push him towards Geno in a faster motion, using his sword a lot better than before, and actually attempting to fight. Geno could only watch for the time being, seeing as to how Sebastian was going to be trying something a little bit different and all. Geno watched for only a while longer just before Sebastian was close, now it was time to actually fight! Pyro was put into action, immediatly moving forward and hitting Sebastian with a few fireballs, though, it seems earth magic protected the young man.
- Sebastian was able to power through, and managed to even get closer to Sebastian in order to deliver a devistating blow to the mans stomach, one that Geno hadn't been ready for in the slightest. Suddenly spit was coming out of his mouth, and he felt like throwing up from such a hard hit, it was horrid! Geno said nothing, and instead was launched a few yards away as Sebastian followed through with his swing.
- Now standing back up, feeling somewhat dizzy, he watched as Sebastian began to come a bit closer, it seems allowing him to actually get the upperhand wasn't going to be the best idea. Pyro suddenly came into play, fireballs being launched at Sebastian, though it was nothing strong enough to actually stop his assualt, but with the help of Geno it was going to be enough. Suddenly, more and more fire balls began to bombarde the young earth magi, and before he knew it, it was becoming to much. The weight and heat of it all, especially the collisions had been far to much. Sebastian soon fell, and once more Geno and Pyro stood victorious.
- Geno placed a hand on his own stomach, staring at Sebastian for a while as he'd simply sigh. "That was impressive, Sebastian. Best you've actully done against me, I guess I have to say sorry for trying to get you to quit." He'd move closer, still holding his tummy for the time being from such a harsh blow. He'd go on to waving his hand behind him then, undoing the fire skurns creation and simply moving forward to speak with Sebastian.
- Aside from Sebastian and Geno having a wonderful end to their spar, it seems like Geno's actually gotten the hang of both summoning, and destroying his skurn along with controlling it and actually keeping it alive. He wasn't all -that- worthless afterall!
- (Geno)
- Sebastian was ready and revamped. His whole body felt like it was lighter, his muscles incresed making his blows vastly more impressive. The mana in circuits flowed to his tendons and circulated through his biceps, triceps and quads. Well it was definately a improvement on his part due to his body getting so big yet remaining so fast and flexible.
- He was bursting through his attacks like nothing was happening. The flames were burning him all over but somehow he wasn't feeling it, his body was coated with rocks but a flow of feint blue mana rushed over his body making him significantly stronger than before.
- "Your...for a nightmare...face the Wrath..that was stored up for years by my ancestors! It shall manifest in me..I will not fail!!" He'd continue rushing forward to carry out blow after blow, once the fire balls were blasting him head on he'd shrug and rush through the flames to kick him in the face then throw his blade up as it went airborne spinning around clockwise. He'd draw back his arm then launch it full force into the stomach of Geno sending him blasting away into the forest trees knocking them down from the force of it.
- "Judgement has begun!"
- He was acting like a superior to him, going on to sock him in the face with earthen fist and then kicking him back wards again. He'd notice the blade fall back down then catching it back before it reached the ground halted it before it hit the dirt. That's how much his strength increased in the short time that he was learning.
- "Your time is over.." He began by rushing forward with a fatal strike, that dashed passed him dealing a powerful cut cross his chest to cut him down. It would leave a large bloody gash there and a cut up Kimono.
- Suddenly he was being blazed by fireballs. The fire balls slam down on him and it flamed him, it didn't stop. It was like a fire shower down on him creating craters all over like mini meteors.
- "Not bad..." The mana shroud that was over him faded away and his rock armor crumbled, he stood up with his hands crossed in a blocking position. Suddenly he'd fall to his knees and begin huffing and puff as the rocks fell off him.
- "....Damn..Not bad..I am having fun with this..most fun ever!" He'd smiled after that, that was probably his best battle and slowly he realized his power was growing and this time there was no one that could say he was weak anymore, slowly but surely he proved that he was actually a talented fighter with unlocked potential.
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- For atime while they sparred, eventually making their way out of the Cavern and toward the outpost that stood once upon a time, Xanthe followed slowly, watching their moves, calculating eveyrthing the did, and realizing the difference of her prime-strength compared to their current strength. She'd scoff as typical when rating people's fighting... But eventually, the Avharain matriarch's eyes stared toward the run-down, abandoned Fortress, seeing rottened and torn flags of Tilandre still draping, barely hanging on to wher ethey were hung.
- And it was there that she stood, staring forward; watching the wind's breeze knock around the sigils of her destroyed Kingdom. With a frown, Xanthe rose up her hand, causing a stone to fly toward the post, knocking one of the flags into her arms, causing a loud CLING to ring around them. It was there that the woman felt the fabric, how aged and scarred it was much like the emblem embedded into her military uniform.
- When she heard Sebastian wanting to channel the might of his ancestors, Xanthe only smirked, began to fold the flag ice and neatly, moving to place it in a tree by moving a pillar of earth to rise it up there, to rest for awhile.
- "Ancestors, huh? How many of them do you know the names of? How many of them can you call out by name, To call upon their might to aid you in battle?" Xanthe was a history buff. She loved to read, ever since she was young, history was no exception, and as she heard her nephew speak, the woman grasped at her sword, drawing it once more. "You've grown stronger in such a short amount of time. Perhaps I could..." Her eyes began to close, as her face pointed up toward the sky.
- The ground would tremble, as the mana of Xanthe would began to pulse outward--- if one was sensitive to mana flows, and being able to feel their density; they could tell that despite the battered state of her body... Her spirit; her willpower was massive, even among your normal magi. All that was really holding her back, was those damaged legs.
- "Yeah. I think you can handle this much. So this is how much I'm going to use. Prepare yourself Sebastian. Because I'm going to teach you about those ancestors of yours."
- (Xanthe Avharain)
- Sebastian was now looking over at his Aunt, he figured she was some sort of History book at first but wow. She was really into the whole history thing and apparently wanted him to take her knowledge too, not something that he mind in the least bit. He was kind of glad he got this time to train, his daughter was now learning how to spell while he was here training his butt off and about to get some knowledge up in his thick ass skull.
- "Well...I did my fair share of reading and I know of Eurus...I heard of this person named Antoinette..also Achilles.." He was trying to recollect all of his memory of the books he stole from the library trying to figure out about this, all the books he red were mostly about magic and how to chanell mana and stuff.
- "So apparently I'm ready to...Learn of my ancestors.." He wondered how would this aid him in battle but then again that was rich coming from the guy who called out for his ancestors help instead of Palthus for once, he still worshipped Palthus but now that he was basically an expert at earth magic there was no need to learn any further about earth. Palthus already did what Dunakala promised, make his earth stronger.
- "I'm ready!"
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- Smirking. He only knew some barebones, surface level shit. He didn't know how dense and rich in history his family was. Oh he needed to be educated. He needed to be educated badly. And so with sword in hand, eyes locked upon Sebastian, Xanthe decided to give him that education he so DESPERATELY needed.
- "You know Eurus, and Antoinette... but not Eurus's daughter, Antoinette's mother. Chandra. A Holy Magi, silver-haired like her father. She died when the mimics invaded our original kingdom of Byson, fought to the very bitter end for her country." It was at that moment, she flickered her blade into stance, eyeing down the younger Avharain, keeping her weapon sharp and steadily locked on him.
- "Hero King Eurus is our beginning! Chandra, one of the greatest healers of her generation and Eurus's adopted son Achilles the sarradian Half-Prince is the next step. It is their blood that runs in our veins. Their noble souls empower our bodies and give passion to our hearts, show me the strength of that Heart you have, Sebastian!" And with that, She dashed forward with her blade in her hand,, aiming to strike at her nephew; hoping that the lessions she taught him before would give him the experience needed to deal with this level of her power.
- (Xanthe Avharain)
- Sebastian got into a stance preparing to see what she had instore for him this time around. He wasn't as weak as he was the last time they fought, he was significantly stronger now actually, he actually believed in himself. Not really cocky but just confident, he wore his pride on his sleeve literally because thats where the Avharain family crest was on him.
- "Hmph. It seems my strenght is growing more and more" He was trying to conjure the same blue aura of mana again but it was slightly harder this time, he began thinking to himself. The same struggle that he went through in the previous fight to get to that point, the pain he had to endure before finally learning how to fight, how his family has suffered and how much he suffered. The bad decisions that some would wish to return back to normal and the ties they wished they cut.
- The world seemed to be out to get them, the Avharains. A once noble family that was now hiding and running from extinction. Sebastian beared the legacy of a Knight and the legacy of his family, he was the heir to the families legacy and the one holding the torch right now. It all laid on him and his shoulders, it was a matter of if they were strong enough to hold it.
- "I am strong enough!" He'd say with a roar from his voice, the manly sound escaped his throat and fueled his body with power.
- "I am an Avharain!" He'd rush forward crashing his large blade down onto her.
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- The Avharain woman dropped back after several fierce strikes. She was no longer as fast as she was on her feet. But for what she lacked in movement ability anymore, she could make up with her strength and experience. Hopefully. And that wall it took for her to shine through; to strike several times over against Sebastian. He may have noticed as each strike was in impact range; she used a layer of water to jet up her blade, preventing it from being TOO sharp and doing TOO much damage. It was basically like being hit HARD with a foam bat, than being hit with a razor-sharp sword.
- And like that; Xanthe would smike, sending an open palm toward Sebastian's head to back him up, pointing her sword downward. "Antoinette. The original Dark Queen of TIlandre and the first Occultist of our bloodline. Even while struggling with her Occultism she tried to rule over a Kingdom inherited to her on the death of her first husband, King Niklaus Eldor. She wielded the dark blade Durendal, yet still tried to fight the original Hirano Empire. Failed in the end. Arthor Saleja-Avharain, Achilles's son ruled Byson after his father. Named after the legendary king Pendragon, and did his damnest to live to his namesake." continuing the education process while Sebastian gathered his barrings.
- It was surprising how he could push her this much, even though she was aging and lacked legs that functioned properly, there was still a lot of pride in her fighting abilities. "Do you think you have it in you? Can you feel this hearts converging with yours? Fight harder, Sebastian."
- (Xanthe Avharain)
- Sebastian was really giving these battles the plus ultra treatment. He gave his all into every single battle, all his fights were now to be treat with the same amount of danger as fighting a Kaor. He was now slashing at her with his full force in every blow and making sure he pushed her back against the rock walls he created to block her off.
- "Damn.." He was beign pushed back now by rapid strikes and her usage of earth magic, not to mention the fact that she was as good as him and actually better than him at earth. The woman educated him while making him better at fighting, she was a pretty good teach being able to even fight while talking. That was something Sebastian found hard to do and he only fought his strongest while silent.
- That's exactly what Sebastian did now, he went silent and just held his blade up as a image of a golem covering him and the illusion of all his ancestors starting from his father and siblings including Xante straight up to the first of them all King Eurus Avharain.
- "I have it. I can feel it...I can fight even harder!"
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
- Geno: <*Coughs*>
- Xanthe couldn't help but smile. Even as he kept getting beat down, Xanthe's nephew continued to let his willpower shine through. Continued to push forward... continued to be resolved in his ambition. What more could she ask for, but for such a strong-hearted student. "Feithan Avharain my father. A Magma user who's shouts could rip the ground below him in two. On my mother's side, my grandmother Hermione and Grandpa Leonard where part of the old republic. CHampions in their day." With a smirk on her face, she stepped forward toward her nephew.
- She lowered her hand to grab him by the shoulder and pulled him up, returning her sword the scabard. A smirk grew on the aging woman face. She attempted to then look him eye to eye, as best she could. "Your mother and father? They were both great sword users and earth Magi as well, back in their day." And with that said, she allowed Sebastian to try to gather himself. Turning away with one comment. "Never drop, never allow your legs to fail you. Even in loss, take a knee if you must.... but never all your mountain to crumble."
- (Xanthe Avharain)
- Sebastian was defeated again, he lost alot of battles but there was proof of his growth. He was getting stronger, continously growing as he seeks to learn more about his family and his history. "Feithan...My grand father huh..Must've been a great man. I'd only wish he was still alive hehe. Hermione and Leornard, sounds like two legends back in their day, I can just imagine the amount of respect the two had for being as powerful as they were"
- He'd take up his blade that was knocked to the ground during the fight, it was cracking and rusting. He really needed to forge a new weapon but wasn't quite sure on what to forge for himself, he needed something great and powerful. He could maybe forge something like Eurus's weapon one day. A blade straight form the earth.
- "I won't. I will never fall, I am a mountain that no one till be able to reach the peak of." He put his hand on his chest in a vow promising never to lose to anyone, never to lose his courage and his pride in the Avharain family.
- (Sebastian S. Avharain)
