Dori is trying to be friends

Smokeless: Dori sighed pulling up to och. she pulled her mask and roses off her head tossing them aside and looking at the little gift card. She picked it up and her bag just shoving it in there. She made her way out of the car and towards the path to head inside. Her boots clicking agianst the pavement.
Tsaaq: Hayley had already been home, and with Adam and the animals in her bed. She was getting ready for bed. She sluggishly began to wipe off her makeup as she went down the stairs towards the kitchen. She was changing out of her clothes as quickly as she could.
Smokeless: Dori walked inside and she heard someone coming down the steps. She smiled softly."oh hey Hayley." she dug in her bag and pulled out the gift card holding it out."I was going to give this to Adam so oyu two could to the Bistro. I really don't have anyone to go with so it is useless to me."
Tsaaq: "You can't just go by yourself twice?" She asked as she went to take off her heels and pulled off her cat tail. "I heard they have good food." She yawned.
Smokeless: She shrugged some."No I'm okay. Plus you two would enjoy it more then I would." she ran her fingers through her hair and she set the card down. She pulled her gloves off."I saw one little pumpkin was super cute must have been Kelsey's son's so traditional nothing fancy." she was jsut trying to strike a conversation with Hayley.
Tsaaq: She looked down at the card then shrugged. "I can show him but he'll probably just give it back to you." She said with a sigh. Hayley took her hair out of its pony and groaned as she unclasped her clip ins. "Yeah she showed it when we were texting each other earlier..." She replied.
Smokeless: She nodded her head."Okay thanks." she leaned against the back of the couch and slid her own boots off."He is such a little cutie. Reminds me of my cousin back at home. Her son is mixed and just the cutest little thing." she looked around some and cleared her throat."umm  Hayley im really sorry about the bookstore. I didn't mean to snap at you and Bliss. Just alot has been going on and I really have no one to talk to so im sorry."
Tsaaq: Hayley combed her hair with her fingers. "Yeah Connor is cute." She nodded in agreement. She looked up at Dori and furrowed her eyebrows a moment. "What do you mean 'a lot has been going on'?" She asked.
Smokeless: She nodded her head when talkign about connor. She shrugged her shoulders some."Just haven't been myself sicne I came back from my visit is all. And Thad and I broke up too so there is that but that is not a big deal really." she shrugged some and made ehr way to the kitchen.
Tsaaq: She glanced over to Dori then rubbed her hand on the shaved sides of her head. "Maybe you should see a therapist or something if you feel like you need somebody to talk to?" Hayley suggested, trying to avoid addressing Thad all together.
Smokeless: Dori shook her head."I cant afford that and between work,school,and cheer I don't have the time for it either. Plus my family doesn't believe in going to thearpist." she grabbed some water and opened the bottle sipping it.
Tsaaq: "Why doesn't you family believe in going to a therapist? They don't believe in taking care of your mind?" She asked skeptically. "I mean, there's free therapy at school too." She shrugged.
Smokeless: "We don't believe in it because that is how you get caught. My grandmother was an illegal. IF someone pokes enough to get information out cops come snooping about and my grandmotehr would be shipped back to mexico."she shrugged some."but we also believe  that going to church helps take care of your mind."
Tsaaq: Hayley stared blankly at Dori before finally nodding her head. "Oh. Okay." She said awkwardly since she didn't really know how to respond to that. Hayley turned away so she could toss her makeup wipe in the trash.
Smokeless: Dori shrugged some."Sorry im sure you have better things to do then to listen to me blab on." she finished off her water and ran her ingers through her hair.
Tsaaq: "Not really." She replied. "I'm just getting ready for bed." She said, going into the fridge and grabbing a few slices of bread then sitting down and take a few hurried bites of it.
Smokeless: Dori nodded her head and she looked at hayley for a moment. She looked away and took a deep breath trying to calm her nervs abit."Hayley would you like to hang out sometime? Like go to the mall or something just us two."
Tsaaq: Her gaze slowly moved over to Dori as she held one of her slices of bread in her mouth. After she took a few bites of it she just held it in her hands. "Sure." She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't really like the mall though. Lots of deliquents."
Smokeless: She laughed a little."Isn't that the truth. I'm glad I don't work at spencers anymore. We can go to the bowling alley or something."she looked around and then to Hayley."so umm do oyu know how I can get this free threapy?"
Tsaaq: "Yeah, I guess the bowling alley is fun. There's an arcade and shit there." She replied. Hayley finished off her bread and let out a sigh of relief, finally some type of real food on her stomach. "Yeah uh, you know in promenade where the cafeteria is? There's like a whole bunch of offices. One of them is Miss Cooper's office. She's really nice. But I'm a special case I guess. I go to the mental health place just a few blocks from here. Sometimes Adam comes too..."
Smokeless: She nodded her head."I think I will pay her a visit." she smiled slightly and shrugged."yeah we can play some of the arcade games and stuff." she sat down and tapped her nails on the counter top."what other places are here?"
Tsaaq: Hayley wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. "Like, for therapy or...?" She inquired, pausing as she tilted her head and looked over to the other female.
Smokeless: "For things to do not therapy. Just feel like getting out more now that I have a slight weight lifted off my shoulders." she rested her chin in her hand.
Tsaaq: "I mean there's..." She paused again. "I don't go out as much as I used to. There's a hookah place. A night club called Chloroform. That place used to be fun. Um, I guess the concert place. They usually have good bands."
Smokeless: "maybe we can go to the hookah place instead. I've never done hookah." she smiled and shrugged some.
Tsaaq: Hayley lowered her head and rubbed her fingers over her thumbs. "I guess. I haven't been there in years." She answered quietly. "This guy I used to know, we hung out at Babel together. So I guess that's why I never really went back." She tried to speak with a straight face.
Smokeless: "Well if you don't want ot go there we don't have to."she shrugged some."hey maybe you and I can go to the bistro instead."she smiled some."Then I won't feel weird eating by myself."
Tsaaq: "Yeah if you don't mind spending your meal money on me." Hayley said lightly as she shrugged her shoulders. "It's a pretty fancy place." She added. "We usually have the date auction there."
Smokeless: "I don't mind at all. What is the date auction?" she raised a brow this catchign her interest.
Tsaaq: "It's an event that the frat and sorority usually does near Valentine's Day." She replied. "People in town and in school bid for people they want to take on dates and we donate the money to the animal shelter."
Smokeless: "oh wow that is really nice." she smiled some."Can anyone be auctioned off?" she got up and grabbed some grapes out of the fridge she had bought.Want some?"
Tsaaq: She shook her head. "No, it has to be people in the sorority or fraternity." Hayley answered. She shrugged and held her hand out. "Maybe just a little." She said.
Smokeless: Dori nodded her head and she gave Hayley some grapes."How do you even join one of those? I never understood why people join to be honest." she smiled and shrugged some.
Tsaaq: "You literally just join during pledge week and do pledge things." Hayley shrugged. "Bliss and I joined the same semester and I think that's the only reason I did that." She explained.
Smokeless: "huh that is cool. When is the next pledge week I might join?" she popped a grape in her mouth.
Tsaaq: She furrowed her eyebrows and scratched the back of her neck. "I think it's uh... Well Steph is the president of AGD you can always just ask?" Hayley offered.
Smokeless: "You know maybe its not for me." she shrugged some popping another grape in her mouth."I might ask her I'll have to think on it."
Tsaaq: She shrugged her shoulders. "It isn't for everybody. My brother hates greek shit. But he's also very anti-social so I shouldn't go by him." Hayley sighed. She peeled the grape with her teeth before eating it. "But if you like being busy... AGD does that."
Smokeless: Dori shrugged some."I just want a better social network. Kind of just get a feel for people meet new people make some friends. I feel like I really haven't been doing that since I been here. I been blinded since I been here."
Tsaaq: "I guess you can just show up places and hope you fit in or something. I don't know." Hayley said with a small frown appearing on her lips. "I was never really the best at making friends either so. Extracurriculars help."
Smokeless: "I get nervous arund people..."she shrugs some."I've always been that way. I have stepped out of my comfort zone since I been here though. I mea old Dori would never be caught dead in this" she motioned to herself
Tsaaq: Hayley's eyes glanced over Dori's costumer then back to her face. "Why? Because it's basically pasties and lace?" She asked in a monotone. "You should probably take care of yourself better... And build confidence. Being a shut in is fine if you don't like people. If you actually want friends you should probably work on yourself."
Smokeless: She nodded her head"yeah pretty much" she chuckled."the lady at the costume shop said I could pull it off so I said why not." she thought for a moment."huh true any suggestion on how I can improve myself?"
Tsaaq: She shook her head quickly. "I don't even know to be honest." She told Dori. "I don't really have the answers to stuff... That's why I'm always going to therapy and taking meds." Hayley said, getting up from the table. "And it probably depends on individual people."
Smokeless: She nodded her head and she finished off the grapes."Well umm here.." she handed hayley her phone."i'll text you so we can set up a time and date for bristos."she smiled some."I should get out of all this im sure you are tired by now too."
Tsaaq: She rubbed one of her eyes and began to put in her phone number. "Yeah that sounds fine." She yawned. "Adam and the animals are probably wondering where I am so I should probably head up but I'll talk to you later." She told Dori in a half sleepy daze.
Smokeless: Dori nodded her head."okay hayley i'll send you a text in the morning so you have my number." she smiled and waved bye to hayley"good night hayley sleep well."
Tsaaq: "Night Dori." She called out as she went to jog up the stairs. "Sleep tight."
Smokeless: "you too" dori went to her bed room and got ready for bed
