  1. The Great People's Progress plan
  2. Through Tragic misfortune the current plan has not exceeded its high goals as much as the previous ones. In an attempt to improve the growth even further we propose the following plan.
  3. Part 1, the people's actions.
  4. Shown from past experiences and great successes in both the chollima movement and the 'on the spot advice' campaign of our dear leader. The people are yearning for a chance to strive and improve the economy to continued heights. Thus it is proposed to allow them this opportunity through the creation of 'revolutionary work teams'
  5. These teams are to be assembled from Volunteer youths aged 16-25. These patriotic and proud youth will be allocated first into 'Revolutionary Platoons' of 30-40 revolutionaries. Then from there 3-4 Platoons will be assembled into a revolutionary unit. 4 Units create a company. In every platoon there will be one Party member in supervision.
  6. In certain circumstances several Companies can be combined to form a revolutionary Brigade. These Brigades are to be under the command of party functionaries to ensure that morale is kept high.
  7. However party officials are to answer to locally appointed experts in the field, offering only suggestions on how tasks set out by higher command can be achieved. This will radically improve the efficiency while ensuring all aims are to further goals of Juche and the aims of our supreme leader.
  8. Part 2 the People's plan.
  9. After a series of investigations and inspections we have discovered that while the nation's infrastructure has improved by no end, it still is suffering the consequences of the brutal Yankee imperialism and the Great cost of the victory we suffered in the people's liberation war. To this extent we suggest placing these youth in said teams in order to successfully rebuild and greatly improve the nation's infrastructure.
  10. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:North_korea_railways.png
  11. Here we can see the planned and existing routes of the Korean State railway. However this plan has not yet come completely to fruition, with the songowôn branch of the Kangwon line not yet being completed. In addition the Kumgangsan Chongnyon Line must be repaired and modernised for electrification.
  12. Likewise the narrow gage railways must be widened, expanded and electrified. An ideal solution would be the creation of a double track so the current rolling stock can still be used, however it is realised that in some cases it may not be feasible.
  13. Part 3, the People's power.
  14. The Democratic People's republic has one of the most stable economic and energy outputs in the world, however in these times of serious growth we must not neglect electricity production.
  15. Currently at no fault to anybody but the Yankee Imperialists several of the nation's coal burning power stations are running under efficiency, due to still damaged infrastructure meaning coal cannot be quickly moved to the Stations from the mines.
  16. While these infrastructure plans will no doubt solve this problem in a quick manner, it is suggestible to further improve and expand existing coal burning power plants, to allow for a further expansion of energy production, nessecary to power the new industrial centres of the nation.
  17. So it is suggested pending review that 2 new coal burning power stations are to be constructed. Each containing 4 500 MW generators to be imported from our dear comrades in either the Soviet Union or People's republic of china.
  18. Part 4 the People's Produce
  19. If we are to become entirely self reliant as per the ambitions and lofty goals of JUCHE, we must strive to improve the amount of food produced in the nation, something that will surely be made easier with the direct supervision of our supreme leader and his guiding words found in his masterful treatise 'Theses on the socialist Rural question in our country'. Where Kim quite correctly and brilliantly identifies that if we want to transfer 'peasants' into Socialist farmers we must follow 5 revolutionary steps.
  20. The expansion of irrigation, the supply of electricity to the countryside, realignment of land to enable mechanisation of agriculture, increase in the use of chemicals and fertilizers, and the reclamation of swamps and tidal lands.
  21. Expansion of Irrigation and the supply of electricity go hand in hand with the increase of the supply of electricity to the countryside. With an expansion of the infrastructure and power production. To this extent we must stop the brutal and imperialistic drip irrigation in exchange for revolutionary, anti imperialistic and Heroic Pumped irrigation, this will massively increase the output of food production, allowing us to export, increasing our capital.
  22. The mechanisation of agriculture is also very significant, this will not only increase the output of our farms but it will also move us further towards industrialisation as more citizens move to cities, which will stop any possible manpower shortages. It will also provide impetus to build even more tractors and machinery. These will be given to the most successful farms first. Any additional manpower will be provided by this organisation.
  23. The Reclamation of swamps and tidal plains will be incredibly important to future progress, with all manpower supplied by the Organisation set out. This will begin as soon as possible, and will be planned by Experts chosen by the supreme leader.
  24. The Fertiliser and Chemical industry are to be placed at the top and fast tracked through the State Planning commission, with an aim to improve the production by 70% in 2 years. This will be handed out in agricultural regions in an equal and fair manner.
