- The next time she went in, Carolina kept her off hand back, hidden behind her torso just long enough to prepare a trick. This time, instead of trying to score hits with her energy sword, Carolina used it to keep Baiken on the defensive, then suddenly front flipped over her and kicked at her back. It didn't do much, but it did do what it was meant to do- force Baiken to take a step or two forward. Right into the grenade she'd left on the ground.
- It was hard to decide which was more impressive- the tremendous thunder of the blast in the quiet garden, or the fact that it didn't even stagger Baiken. She stood resolute in the cloud of smoke and dust kicked up in the explosion, but when the gentle wind made it dissipate, Carolina was gone.
