Hayato: ...And so I thought that you might have some inkling as to how to open the Transposition Gate, Dr. Umon.

宇門博士
「ふむ…。
私にも並行世界間の移動方法はわかりかねるが…」
Dr. Umon: Hm... Well, I can’t say that I just happen to know of a method to travel between parallel worlds, but...

宇門博士
「転位門の開放は、特定の場所同士を繋げるための
空間歪曲がきっかけとなるのは間違いなかろう」
Dr. Umon: I’m certain that opening the Transposition Gate will be triggered by spatial distortions linking certain connected locations together.

甲児
「特定の場所同士…空間歪曲…
それって、もしかしてワープ航法とか?」
Koji: Certain connected locations... Spatial distortions... Then do you mean like warp navigation?

宇門博士
「その通りだ、甲児君。
そして、大介はその術を知っているな?」
Dr. Umon: Quite so, Koji. And I believe you are familiar with that, are you not, Daisuke?

大介
「ええ。僕のスペイザーにはワープ機能があります。
それを使ってフリード星から地球へ来たので」
Daisuke: That’s right. My Spazer has a warp function. I used it to come from Planet Fleed to Earth.

隼人
(やはり、そうか)
Hayato: (As I expected.)

大介
「だけど、スペイザーで
別の世界へ行けるわけではありません」
Daisuke: But that doesn’t mean my Spazer can travel to a different world.

宇門博士
「うむ。
ワープ航法では、同一世界の空間を
歪曲させるだけだが…」
Dr. Umon: Naturally. Warp navigation only distorts space within the same world, of course...

竜馬
「転位門を開くきっかけの一つにはなり得る。
隼人、てめえが言ってた鍵ってのは、
スペイザーだったのか」
Ryoma: Could be one of the things that gets the Transposition Gate open, at least. The key you were talking about before was the Spazer, right, Hayato?

隼人
「ああ」
Hayato: Yes.

宇門博士
「別空間への扉を開いても、その行き先…
ましてやブレーンワールドという異世界を
特定することは出来ない」
Dr. Umon: Even should we open a door to another world, the destination would be unknown to us... Narrowing it down to the Braneworld specifically would be even more difficult to do.

宇門博士
「やはり、大きな要因となるのは
二つの世界で明確に存在していることが
判明しているゲッター線とゲッターロボだろう」
Dr. Umon: At any rate, the largest factors at play would be the Getter Rays and the Getter Robos, as we know for certain they both exist within the two worlds.

宇門博士
「言わば、それらは接点だ。
しかし、条件をもっと絞らねばならない」
Dr. Umon: You could consider them to be point of contacts, so to speak. But we need to narrow down the criteria even further.

宇門博士
「単にその二つが揃っていることが条件ならば、
並行世界間の行き来は容易になるだろうからね」
Dr. Umon: Because if those were the only two things necessary for travel between worlds, then doing so would be a much simpler task.

弁慶
「転位門みたいな物が
もっと頻繁に発生していても
おかしくないってことですか」
Benkei: You mean if that were all there was to it, we’d be seeing stuff like Transposition Gates a lot more frequently.

宇門博士
「うむ。
向こう側はともかく、こちら側で
転位門が出現したタイミングは重要だ」
Dr. Umon: Indeed. Ignoring the situation on the other side for now, we can conclude that the timing of the Transposition Gate’s appearance on our side is crucial.

鉄也
「となると、
二つの世界に共通する特殊な接点とは…」
Tetsuya: So then, just what is the mutual point of contact between the two worlds...?

ハヤト
「…俺達のゲッターノワール・Gや
真ゲッターのような超高性能ゲッターロボだろう」
HAYATO: ...I’d say it’s the extraordinary power of the Getter Robos. Like our Getter Noir G and your Shin Getter.

宇門博士
「そして、それらによって
集束される高密度のゲッター線…」
Dr. Umon: Yes, and the high-density Getter Rays they both channel...

宇門博士
「私は、その二つが
この世界とブレーンワールドを繋ぐ
大きな接点ではないかと思う」
Dr. Umon: I believe those two things are the major points of contact connecting our world and the Braneworld.

鉄也
「真ゲッターロボ、ゲッターノワール・G、
スペイザーが揃い、空間歪曲を引き起こせば
転位門が開放される可能性があるということか…」
Tetsuya: If Shin Getter, Getter Noir G, and the Spazer all come together and create a spatial distortion then the Transposition Gate might open...

宇門博士
「だが、高性能ゲッターロボがその2機だけで
足りるとは限らん。また、門を開いたとしても、
確実にブレーンワールドへ繋がる保証はない」
Dr. Umon: But there’s no way to be certain that those two high performance Getter Robos will be enough. And even should the gate open, there’s no guarantee that it will lead to the Braneworld.

宇門博士
「道標になる物と、向こう側の条件が
揃わなければならないだろう」
Dr. Umon: We would need something to serve as a guidepost, along with the same conditions to be met on the other side as well.

竜馬
「あっちの条件なんざ、知ったこっちゃねえぜ」
Ryoma: And we’d have no way of knowing it even if things were all set up on their side.

ハヤト
「しかし、ブレーンワールドへの
帰還方法の手掛かりは掴めた」
HAYATO: Still, we now have a lead as to how we can return to the Braneworld.

隼人
(それに伴い、新たな問題が出て来るがな)
Hayato: (And with it, comes an entirely new set of problems.)

宙
「ブレーンワールドへ帰るのに
ゲッターノワール・Gが必要だってんなら、
ムサシがいなきゃならないってことだろうが…!」
Hiroshi: If you need Getter Noir G to return to the Braneworld, then you have to have MUSASHI as well...!

ハヤト
「………」
HAYATO: ...

リョウマ
「………」
RYOMA: ...

弁慶
「宙の言う通りだな。
ムサシがいなければ、この世界で
ゲッターノワール・Gに合体することは出来ん」
Benkei: Hiroshi’s right. Without MUSASHI, there’s no way for you to combine into Getter Noir G in this world.

弁慶
「ブレーンワールドへの帰還方法を確立させるなら、
次にやるべきことはあいつの救出だ」
Benkei: If we’re going to figure out how to get you boys back to the Braneworld, then the next step is to rescue him.

甲児
「そうだ、ムサシを助けに行こうぜ!」
Koji: Yeah, let’s go save MUSASHI!

隼人
「そんなことをしなくても、
いずれ向こうから接触してくる」
Hayato: That won’t be necessary. His kidnappers will contact us sooner or later.

隼人
「その時、俺達には二つの選択肢が突き付けられる。
ゲッターノワールか、ムサシか…
そのどちらかを選ぶことになるだろう」
Hayato: At that time, we’ll be presented with two choices. The Getter Noirs or MUSASHI... We’ll have to choose between one of them.

甲児
「そんなの、両方に決まって…」
Koji: No we won’t, we’ll just get both--

(Uzuki detects something.)

美和
「これは…!」
Uzuki: This is...!

宇門博士
「大介、[ベガ星連合軍]の部隊がこちらへ接近中だ。
直ちにグレンダイザーで出撃してくれ」
Dr. Umon: Daisuke, [Vegan Empire] forces are approaching. Launch with Grendizer immediately.

大介
「わかりました!」
Daisuke: Understood!

隼人
「宇門博士、我々も出ましょう」
Hayato: We’ll go out as well, Dr. Umon.

宇門博士
「そうしてもらえると助かる」
Dr. Umon: I’d appreciate it if you would.

弁慶
「おい、隼人…!」
Benkei: Hey, Hayato...!

リョウマ
「グレンダイザーに万一のことがあれば、
元も子もねえ。俺は行くぜ」
RYOMA: We’re beyond screwed if something happens to Grendizer. I’m going out.

鉄也
「まずは目の前の火の粉を払いのけるべきだ。
俺も出よう」
Tetsuya: We have to deal with the problem in front of us first. I’m going as well.

甲児
「ムサシを助ける算段を立てるとしても、
ベガ星連合軍を追っ払った後で、か」
Koji: If we’re gonna figure out a way to rescue MUSASHI, then first we’ve gotta beat back the Vegan Empire, huh.

宙
「よし、さっさと奴らを片付けようぜ!」
Hiroshi: Alright, then let’s hurry up and wipe them out!

(Everyone except the two Hayato’s leave.)

ハヤト
「………」
HAYATO: ...

隼人
「お前は出撃しないのか?」
Hayato: Aren’t you going to sortie as well?

ハヤト
「…出る前に話がある」
HAYATO: ...There’s something I want to talk about before we leave.

『二つの選択肢』
Episode 2
Two Choices


(Scene begins on the map screen of a mountain range. Ryoma, Koji, Tetsuya, Steel Jeeg, the Big Shooter, RYOMA, and HAYATO are on the map. Vegan Empire Mini-FOs are on the map.)

リョウマ
「あれがベガ星連合のUFOか」
RYOMA: So those are the Vegan Empire’s UFOs.

デューク
「先日の戦闘で、奴らは[宇宙科学研究所]に
グレンダイザーがあることを知った」
Duke: They figured out that Grendizer comes from the [Space Science Laboratory] after a recent battle.

デューク
「だから、かなりの数を送り込んでくるはずだ。
どうかみんなの力を貸して欲しい」
Duke: So they’ll probably be sending a large force our way. Please, everyone, lend me your aid.

甲児
「そんな水臭いことを言わなくたっていいぜ」
Koji: You don’t gotta be so formal about it, you know.

鉄也
「それに、奴らは運が悪い。
今日は俺達が勢揃いしているんだからな」
Tetsuya: And besides, they’re the ones in trouble here. Just look at the lineup they’re up against today.

鋼鉄ジーグ
「連中とのんびり戦ってる余裕はねえ!
速攻で行こうぜ!」
Steel Jeeg: We don’t have time to waste on them! Let’s take them out fast!

隼人
「急ぐ必要はない。確実に敵を仕留めろ」
Hayato: We don’t need to rush. Just be certain you take them down.

鋼鉄ジーグ
「何言ってんだ、俺達はこの後でやることが…」
Steel Jeeg: What are you talking about? In case you’ve forgotten, we have business to attend to after--

隼人
「もう一度言う。急ぐ必要はない」
Hayato: I’ll say it again. We don’t need to rush.

甲児
(あくまでもムサシを
助ける気がねえってことかよ…!?)
Koji: (Does he really have no intention of saving MUSASHI...!?)

隼人
(あの男ならば、この機を見逃さんだろう。
だからこそ、時間を稼ぐ必要がある)
Hayato: (That man wouldn’t let an opportunity like this pass him buy. That’s why we need to draw this out as long as possible...)

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

美和
「上空から敵の新手が接近中!」
Uzuki: A new wave of enemies is approaching from the sky!

デューク
「この反応は…!」
Duke: This reading is...!

(Gorman appears with Saucer Beasts and Mini-FOs.)

ゴーマン
「デューク・フリード…
前回の借りを返しに来たぞ」
Gorman: Duke Fleed... I’ve come to repay the debt I owe you from last time.

デューク
「やはり、お前か!ゴーマン!」
Duke: I knew it! It’s you, Gorman!


(Scene ends.)

(Next scene picks up where it left off.)


デューク
「みんな、気を付けてくれ。
後方の[円盤獣]に乗っているのは
ベガ大王親衛隊のゴーマン大尉だ」
Duke: Be careful everyone. The man behind those [Saucer Beasts] is Captain Gorman, of King Vega’s Imperial Guard.

甲児
「親衛隊…つまり、手練れってことか」
Koji: Imperial Guard... Guess that means he’s pretty tough.

鋼鉄ジーグ
「だけど、1回負けてるんだろ?」
Steel Jeeg: But he’s already been defeated once before, hasn’t he?

弁慶
「グレンダイザーと渡り合って
生き延びたってのは、凄いと言えば凄いが」
Benkei: You could say just surviving a fight with Grendizer is a testament to his strength.

竜馬
「それで雪辱戦を挑んで来たか。
となると、そこそこの覚悟をしてやがるな」
Koji: So he’s here for a rematch then. Looks like he’s plenty prepared for it too.

隼人
(…これで時間が稼げる。
後はタイミングの問題だ)
Hayato: (...This will buy us some time. Now it’s just a matter of when.)

ゴーマン
(この円盤獣ギンギンはさらに強化されている。
前回と同じようにはいかんぞ、デューク・フリード)
Gorman: (My Saucer Beast, Gingin, has been enhanced. This won’t end like it did last time, Duke Fleed.)

ゴーマン
(もっとも、これだけの数の円盤獣だ。
俺の所まで無事辿り着けるとは思えんがな)
Gorman: (But with all these Saucer Beasts standing in their way, I doubt they’ll be able to reach me unscathed regardless.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「あの野郎、動く様子がねえ。
こっちが消耗するのを待つつもりか」
Steel Jeeg: It doesn’t look like that dastard’s planning on moving. He must be waiting for us to tire ourselves out.

リョウマ
「ならば、雑魚を全て叩き潰して、
奴を引きずり出すまでだ」
RYOMA: Then we’ll just smash all of his mooks and force him to come and fight us.

甲児
「そういう力押しの考えは嫌いじゃねえ。
行こうぜ、デューク・フリード!」
Koji: Not really a fan of the brute force approach here, but whatever. Let’s go, Duke Fleed!

デューク
「ああ!」
Duke: Right!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(Battle 2 ends after a few Saucer Beasts are defeated.)

ゴーマン
「…この程度では済まんぞ。
我がベガ星連合に刃向かう者共は
全て血祭りに上げてくれる…!」
Gorman: ...This is far from over. All those who oppose the Vegan Empire will be dealt a bloody death...!

ゴーマン
「む!?」
Gorman: Hm!?

(Invaders appear.)

鋼鉄ジーグ
「インベーダーだと!?」
Steel Jeeg: Invaders!?

隼人
(やはり、現れたか)
Hayato: (They’ve come, as expected.)

美和
「この状況で彼らとも
戦わなければならないなんて…!」
Uzuki: How are we supposed to fight them like this...!?

鋼鉄ジーグ
「待て!あいつら、動きが妙だぞ!」
Steel Jeeg: Wait! Something’s odd about the way they’re moving!

(The Invaders rush the Vegan Empire machines.)

甲児
「ベガ星連合の機体に取り付いてやがる!」
Koji: They all just latched onto the Vegan Empire mechs!

ゴーマン
「あやつら、我らの機体を乗っ取るつもりか!」
Gorman: They intend to commandeer our machines!

(An Invader appears next to Gorman.)

ゴーマン
「くっ、俺の円盤獣までも…!
ええい、ミニフォーを寄越せ!」
Gorman: Tch, they want even my own Saucer Beast...! Agh, send over a Mini-FO!

(A Mini-FO appears and Gorman boards it.)

ゴーマン
「おのれ、インベーダー共…!
デューク・フリード、勝負は預けるぞ!」
Gorman: Damn those blasted Invaders...! Duke Fleed, I leave this battle to you!

(Gorman leaves the map.)

竜馬
「こんなことをしでかす輩は…!」
Ryoma: There’s only one person that’d pull something like this!

(Dr. Saotome appears inside Saucer Beast Gingin.)

早乙女博士
「そうだ、竜馬!ワシだ!」
Dr. Saotome: That’s right, Ryoma! It is I!

竜馬
「ジジイ!やっぱり、てめえか!」
Ryoma: Old man! I knew it had to be you!

早乙女博士
「面白い趣向であろう!そして!」
Dr. Saotome: It was a most entertaining ploy! But wait, there’s more...!

コーウェン
「我々も出向いて来たぞ」
Cowen: We’ve come along as well.

スティンガー
「さ、さらに彼もね」
Stinger: And we’ve brought a friend.

ムサシ
「す、すまねえ、みんな…!」
MUSASHI: S-Sorry, guys...!

(Only Dr. Saotome is inside the Gingin. The rest are on its shoulder or something.)

リョウマ
「ムサシ…!」
RYOMA: MUSASHI...!

早乙女博士
「お前達に二つの選択肢を与えよう!
ゲッターノワールとムサシの生命、
好きな方を選ぶがよい!」
Dr. Saotome: I grant you two choices! The Getter Noirs or MUSASHI’s life! By all means, choose whichever you prefer!
