  1. 10:19:44] The youth would be walking the caves as he would look foir materials. He planned to make his blade strong. As he would mining for whatever he could. He learned alot about things while being in Valmasia. His backpack on his back would make it seem he was a student also. Looking around the cave was always large to the young one.
  2.
  3. "Hmm maybe i should no i get this one. Maybe a bit of this could help." He simply was chipping off things that were not special. One thing he learned was the most littlest of materials could make the most strongest if used right.
  4. (Musaka)
  5. [10:22:17] {combat} You killed a Greater Yokai! (+7800 EXP, +286cr)
  6. [10:22:17] {combat} You killed a Tera Yokai! (+2750 EXP, +55cr)
  7. [10:24:00] Just your common boy roaming around the lands of Trystle Caves, coming out of what was the area known as Cinderfall. A plethora of things still weren't lucid, most of it involving that of those around him liking him. He decided to take a walk outside of there for once, being in that area for quite a while already. Nothing was going on really, just him incessantly sauntering around until finally reaching a halt near an ebony boy. Similar to him, Kain decided to approach, wanting to know who he was and why he in a cave like this, lingering around. He went near the person, attempting to begin a conversation with this anonymous figure.
  8.
  9. He moved slowly, closing the distance between the both of them, before finally arriving near the entity. His diminutive, lithe frame staring upwards towards the opposing, attempting to examine their qualities. That's all Kain could really do, not knowing even the basics of magic. Just your common, ordinary kid. He wasn't even capable of throwing a proper punch!
  10.
  11. "Am Kain. Herro. Is who?"
  12. (Kain)
  13. [10:31:40] Noise... And mana.
  14.
  15. The Yokai knew it had found prey once more. Something for it to feed upon. It called it's children from the dark. This was it's home, after all, and you know what they say about rabbits. The horde emerged from the shadows, and followed it. It moved with a surprising grace and speed, unhindered by the terrain or lack of light.
  16.
  17. Food that would bring it close to evolution was here. Delicious flesh charged with mana to the brim. It would strip them to the bone; and even eat that. Nothing would remain. It came crashing down between the two with a menacing roar, it's underlings arriving shortly behind it. These two would soon find out why the Trystle was the territory of the Yokai.
  18. (Aeolus)
  19. [10:32:32] Kain: (ah yes the op no mana)
  20. [10:37:39] The teen what see another had come upon him. The Sarradian would look and smile. A common child so it appeared. One thing was he was one to simply greet the stranger as the other did him. Did young children always run through these caves? Did they not realize the dangers of these places? Either way he would not be bothered with telling the young one he was wrong.
  21.
  22. "I'm Musaka nice to meet you Kain. Tell me why is someone so young in a place like this? Its very dangerous to be here without being protected." He heard of the yokai sighting recently so he was not worried. Though those kaor beast might come back sometime soon. Not wanting to meet either one again.
  23.
  24. Then he would look and see a beast would come upon them. He would grit his teeth as it was fast. He would push Kain back as to protect him. He was nervous very nervous.
  25.
  26. "Damn another one."
  27. (Musaka)
  28. [10:43:37] Musaka. Another name that wasn't capable of being pronounced by Kain. This kind of sucked, oh well. It was very difficult for him to articulate, being one of very little education and capabilities, always being a failure at everything that he ever attempted at. Unlike quite a few other kids who he's met, he was incapable of utilizing the ability of mana.
  29.
  30. "Usa. Am say Usa hi. No know why is here, view nice. " Perhaps he was able to understand what he was trying to say. Before the child could continue the conversation with Musaka, a stentorian voice echoed in the cave, forcing its way towards them. A beast that he has never seen before had appeared before him, one so menacing, so depraved. Nothing could be sensed by Kain, oh well.
  31.
  32. Before the boy knew it, a palm extended, forcefully placing itself towards him, sending him backwards. A push of safety or harm? Either-way, intense anguish circulated throughout his entire body. He was frail and wasn't meant for something like that. His back hit some rocks, causing even more agony than the initial push. From said push, Kain stood up, tears streaming down his countenance, shaking in his boots. A rabbit, something he thought so harmless, appeared before him, rather menacing.
  33.
  34. "K-k-k-kain....scared......" Even though he was terrified and was incapable of fighting at all, having zero experience in this aspect, he wanted to help the person who was attempting to save his life, attempting to get him out of harm's way. No one he knows has ever done that for him before, and yet, a complete stranger did it without hesitation. With countenance stained with tears, Kain slowly approached Musaka yet again, standing near him.
  35.
  36. "Want....Try best....Help!" Of course, he wasn't going to do much to something like Yokai, especially with his size and age.
  37. (Kain)
  38.
  39. [10:50:27] Of course they moved to protect one another. As predicted. It swiftly swat Musaka out of the way in retaliation, sending him hurtling away from the smaller child he sought to protect. Swiftly, the underlings moved to surround him. No; it wasn't the child in need of protection. It was him. The Giga-Class practically vanished, to loom over Kain with a mild absurdity that was it's speed. This might not have been the typical Yokai they were dealing with! A wicked and cruel intelligence lingered in the rabbit's eyes!
  40. (Aeolus)
  41.
  42. [10:53:00] So he had backup? The Sarradian would grab the child and push back from them. Not roughly but enough so he had space. He would then stomp his feet and earth would cover around the two. Preventing the yokai from getting to the boy so easily. Looking at the creature he would put his palms. Lightning would form around him all of a sudden.
  43.
  44. Then the yokai would see a fire seem to be burning in his eyes. A raging one to not be messed with.
  45.
  46. Prepared to go head to head the boy was ready to fight.
  47. (Musaka)
  48. [10:53:00] Musaka: (kain
  49. [10:53:00] Musaka: (dont be a dick
  50. [10:53:00] Musaka used a finisher.
  51. [10:53:52] Kain: (i was joking bruh)
  52. [10:54:43] {combat} You killed a Giga Yokai Guard! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  53. [10:54:43] {combat} You killed a Mega Yokai Guard! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  54. [10:54:43] {combat} Aeolus has been defeated by Musaka! They're unable to continue fighting.
  55.
  56. [11:00:41] Using his acrobatics he would flip away from the yokai. The minions would be killed with a blazing wave of fire. Though that was not all. He would seem to be trying to stir up the creature to keep coming. As it would charge he would hit over its legs arms with lightning strikes. Then a huge burst of water would come forth and send the yokai flying back.
  57.
  58. The beast manage to hurt him a bit. Though it seemed the Sarradian was not phased at all. No, he was more likely to come back harder. The yokai would then be took down by a huge burst of earth from underneath it. The Sarradian would smile a bit to see a yokai had tripped from such a move.
  59.
  60. "I give you this chance to run. I will not kill you since your kin has spared me many of times. Yet, my next strike will hurt even more. So what you do next will only bring more pain."
  61. (Musaka)
  62. [11:02:24] Kain: !!!
  63. [11:03:15] Musaka: ( i need a few more rivalries then i be the next Avatar
  64. [11:05:48] Humans were... Underestimated.
  65.
  66. That much was clear. The lesser races had developed. The Yokai? They were... The same. The problem was becoming more and more clear as it hunted their kin. They developed magics far beyond their normal reach with their intellect. They perfected fighting forms that assisted them. They spent their entire lives seeking a...
  67.
  68. Perfection.
  69.
  70. Something not so different from the Yokai. Not so different at all. Perhaps at a different scale, but it was intrigued.
  71.
  72. "YOU WILL FIGHT." The rabbit bellowed in return; however it seemed to lack it's initial hostility. "I MUST FIGHT. WE MUST... SEE." With that, the rabbit-like Yokai began to sway, in an evasive manner that would echo it's use of speed. It seemed it was willing to take things up a notch.
  73. (Aeolus)
  74. [11:06:40] Kain: (oh boy imma rp watching this)
  75. [11:06:40] {combat} You killed a Mega Yokai Guard! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  76. [11:06:40] {combat} You killed a Giga Yokai Guard! (+1 EXP, +1cr)
  77. [11:07:31] {combat} Aeolus has been defeated by Musaka! They're unable to continue fighting.
  78.
  79. [11:13:29] The moment the yokai even tried to move the boy would appear to behind him. A whispering of words in Sarradian would be heard. Though the words would come clear once the yokai made eye contact. A huge wave of earth and fore would smash into the yokai. It was not over as the yokai would then be smashed by water and also fire.
  80.
  81. "The pain only gets worse from here firend."
  82.
  83. He tried to tell the yokai that before. Yet, it wanted to learn the hard way. He would then send a burst of fire out making the yokai fly back. Though as the yokai would see a lignting flash was coming through the fire. A yell coudl be heard.
  84.
  85. "Piercing Sear Strike!" He would land directly on the yokai chest. It would cause the yokai to feel lignting and fire to sweep throughout his body. Not enough to kill but enough to be down and very badly hurt. Landing on the ground he would put his sword away.
  86.
  87. Walking over to the beast.
  88.
  89. "I hate killing creatures so you are spared. Maybe you will understand attacking others without purpose will ony lead to further failure."
  90. (Musaka)
  91. [11:13:29] Musaka: (fiend*
  92. [11:14:20] A myriad of spells being unleashed, utilized to attack one another. Corrupted mana manifesting to attack the other, wihile flames unleashing from Musaka to defeat the gargantuan foe. The rabbit was pushed back by the Sarradian who had quite a few things in his arsenal. Ranging from water; to lightning, fire and earth. Four different elements from what Kain saw. A bunch of them flung at the larger beast to tame it, force it to halt its assault. So this was the capabilities of magic. The ability to manipulate different elements at your will, to dispose them whenever. An intrigued gaze, filled with fright still witnessed the fight transpire before his eyes.
  93.
  94. What was this? Remaining transfixed, Kain scrutinized both of them, their fighting styles and how they reacted. He was used to observing things, but their speed was far beyond his reach. Quick flashes here and there were seen, but that's about it. Nothing else. Was this how it was to be one so ordinary around those with exceptional talents? It was something that this boy never wanted to bear witness to again. Another attack was intiiated after the rabbit bursted wtih exasperation. Yet again, Musaka came out triumphant. This was ludicrous! This was a beast unlike any other that he has seen! How was Musaka capable of coming out victorious?
  95.
  96. Kain sat down, rump on the lithosphere beneath, continuing to watch. He still wasn't capable of moving that much, shaking without any signs of stopping. This was the reality with the difference of those who were capable of wielding spells and those who weren't. Those were capable of combat, those who weren't. The child never even had basic smarts, nor was he able to do a basic human function...This was how it was...To be the bottom of the barrel.
  97. (Kain)
  98. [11:14:20] Kain: (xd)
  99. [11:14:20] Kain: ...
  100. [11:20:19] Jared: (wow)
  101. [11:25:26] The rabbit seethed with hate. But that hate was restrained. Perhaps it just didn't like loing. It was hard to tell. The creature hardly reacted to the intense pain that was sent through it; rising to it's feet once more. "STRONG. IMPRESSIVE... VERY." It spoke, a primitive mannerism despite clear intellect possessed. The Yokai at the least seemed to be admitting it's defeat.
  102.
  103. It would sit down then. Crashing upon it's bottom with a heavy weight. It was definitely a large and powerful creature by it's own right; but it was lacking in regard to manage to use that power. It's gaze studied the two humans with interest. Just what was the Yokai doing? It was hard to say. Already the wounds Musaka had inflicted pulsed, healing visibly.
  104. (Aeolus)
  105. [11:26:17] Kain: (imma go get something real quick)
  106. [11:33:07] Kain: (i have returned lmango)
  107. [11:40:48] The yokai seem to be speaking in good words now. Even praise but he saw through it. The boy was no fool. Most likely it was trying to do this as a way to get close to him. Still it wouldn't matter as he was not one to hold grudges. As long as the yokai didn't attack him once more. Looking at Kain he would give the boy its a okay situation now.
  108.
  109. "Of course i'm strong. I dont seek to gain power for just my own purpose. I do it because of the person i cared for wanted me to do it. You are not even at your full potential from what i seen from you creatures. Do you have a name yokai? I suggest we don't fight but your hunger knows no bounds."
  110.
  111. He was not a bad person. Musaka was no fool either. you tried to cross him once shame on you. Try to cross him again he would not be so nice.
  112.
  113. Musaka saw it was healing from his attacks. Strange creatures these yokai were indeed.
  114. (Musaka)
  115. [11:43:21] Aeolus: (Anything, Kain?)
  116.
  117. [11:50:11] His countenance filled with slight glee, he approached the situation knowing the predicament of them. They were at a stalemate-type thing, where none of them planned to attack the other. Since the strife was over, Kain figured it was safe to approach. This was further backed-up by Musaka giving him a look of 'its alright'. All he did was stand near Musaka, looking towards the overwhelming creature. He still thought bunnies had ineffable pulchritude, even with the look of the Yokai. The kid then shifted his gaze on Musaka, nodding towards him to show his support. Another word wasn't spewed from Kain, since he deemed it un-necessary and out of place for him to converse.
  118.
  119. The child's head tilted, examining the area to see if more beasts similar to this one's kind had planned to attack any time soon. If they were going to, he had intent to stay with Musaka to help him in any way possible. His life was indeed just saved anyways, so it was great for him. Kain's backpack was placed down, his hand reaching in to grab an apple to hand it over towards the darker male. It was the kid's way of saying thanks, being a normal civilian and all. The bag was then picked back up, strapped onto his shoulders. All he did was wait for the two to finish their conversation.
  120. (Kain)
  121.
  122. [11:55:18] There were no more Yokai cropping out of the woodworks under the influence of the Giga to attack the two. It seemed to have ceased it's desire to harm them... For now. There was still the endless hunger that lurked in it's gaze; and if one dropped their guard it may surely chow down upon them, but it seemed as if that were just the very nature of the Yokai itself. It had a bit of control over itself. Predator and prey was a natural relationship after all.
  123.
  124. "Name..?" A concept that was beyond it. It didn't have a sense of self for the most part. It was still just a Yokai to it. Part of the endless horde that was spawned in an effort to survive against the human onslaught. It didn't answer. It clearly didn't have a way to.
  125. (Aeolus)
  126. [11:58:43] Musaka: (thats good
  127. [11:59:34] Musaka: ( if you phoenix is full and you been rping alot you gonna get big award
  128. [11:59:34] Kain: (15 rps so far)
  129. [11:59:34] Kain: (idc about rpp tho im rping as a normal child civilian for a while)
  130.
  131. [12:04:41] The boy would see the creature didn't even know what a name was. That meant it also didn't have a real purpose. Probably another creature seeking to gain what they call perfection. Whatever the case it didn't matter really. He saw Kain was okay more now then ever. The creature was no threat at the moment so they were in a safe passage for now.
  132.
  133.
  134.
  135. The cave sceneary was getting on his nerves so it was about time to go.
  136.
  137. "If i pass through here again hopefully you have a name next time we meet. Though i suggest not in unfriendly terms."
  138.
  139. He would then look to gain to see if he was ready to go. "Got any particular place you wanna go at my friend?"
  140. (Musaka)
  141.
  142. [12:09:48] Kain's visage shifted towards Musaka, staring towards him who defeated a large Yokai with ease. He already befriended someone like that, so he felt a lot safer. Perhaps this dude was capable of beating up all the people who attempted to hurt or kill the child! Yeah! This was the person that Kain looked up to, one who didn't fight for glory or pride, but to protect those he cared about, or even, strangers! Incandescene radiated from the child, feeling something positive more at this moment than any other. Being allured by this man, similar to that as when he met Var'Thuul, a dragon-friend of his, he'd point towards the direction of Cinderfall, no longer paying attention towards the Yokai.
  143.
  144. His guard was completely down, feeling ready for any other attack that was about to occur in this area. Cinderfall was the place he wanted to go, the area that was proclaimed as Kain's home. A kid who was incapable of using magic now had a protector who looked like he was advanced in quite a few categories! His life was getting better by the moment!
  145.
  146. "Kain want...Camp-camp. " He'd state, skipping non-chalantly towards the Cinderfall area, where most of the people he cared about were. "Fluffy Ila there could. " Skippity skip.
  147. (Kain)
  148. [12:14:04] Name. Name. Name. Identity.
  149.
  150. What was an identity? Things had names. Names were names. It... Had no self-identity. At least before asked? Now though? It was something that had been brought to bear upon it. It was not just a Yokai. It knew that it existed. Unlike the others. It could command. It was a ruler. A king. No.
  151.
  152. A god.
  153.
  154. It would rise from it's seated position; already it's wounds had faded in entirety. The rabbit would gaze down at the duo, it's lips curling into a sinister smile as they spoke of leaving. "AEOLUS WILL FOLLOW."
  155. (Aeolus)
  156. [12:19:12] The boy would raise a brow and shake his head.
  157.
  158. "You can't follow to where i'm going. You will be killed on sight. So for now just stay where you are." He would walk away from the creature with Kain. Rasing up the earth from the creature to follow them. It was the best solution at the moment to not deal with another attack. After all Cinderfall was filled with many people who killed yokai.
  159.
  160. If the yokai could catch them however it was a different sotry if it would follow them.
  161. (Musaka)
