  1. In case anyone cares about this:
  2.
  3.
  4. Lobnik became Lobkin at some point earlier in the game. This was not intentional, but at this point, I'm not looking back.

  8. The Black Fleet in Legends canon has 44 capital vessels including 3 superclass. Not to mention "hundreds" of homemade warships. This would put them on par with, or stronger than the entire Imperial Navy in our game, so I dialed them down to scale better. Keeping track of 50 capital ships in an empire is easier than 500, though those numbers could change. Point is, it's done for balancing reasons and book keeping simplicity.

  12. Alana's rank. So . . . It's important to note that canonically (within legends and without) Imperial ranks are a total mess. To that end, Alana's "title" and her rank are not the same. She began the game as "Captain" and has since become "Commander" her actual rank began at Senior Commander and was since promoted to Senior Captain. (Counter intuitive, I know) this corresponds with her promotion from a low level vessel captain to low level group leader or "admiral" or a senior-ranked captain. If you want to follow along, this chart is the method to my madness.

  19. Organization of the Dark Empire's Navy:
  20.
  21. Emperor > Executor (When acting of the Emperor's will) > Grand Admiral > Naval Board (bureaucratic naval leadership) > Fleet Admirals > Admirals > task force leaders > individual ship's captain's.
  22.
  23. Note: As of now, the Apprentice has no formal command over any naval elements. Currently she can lead forces placed under her command. Likewise, the Executor nominally ran the navy in thr Emperor's absence. All this can of course be changed.

  26.
  27. Fleets are 2 or more combat groups (Formerly "Combat Fleets") usually 4 combat groups, + escort groups, made up of smaller collections of lighter vessels not fit for "line duty". These ships are usually considered inconsequential in a pitched, set piece battle.

  32. Non-human species classification:
  33.
  34. Unclassified: No noteworthy intelligence, skill, or usefulness. (Banthas, Nerfs, Womp Rats, etc.)
  35.
  36. Class A: Loyal and useful, like the Noghri. Occasionally (but rarely) given full rights.
  37.
  38. Class B: Mostly harmless, pretty much any species that lives with relative freedom. Duros, Rodians, Kubaz, Ithorians etc.
  39.
  40. Class C: Species that have done something to lose favor with the Empire. They have reduced rights, even when compared to other non humans. Originally prominent members of the Confederacy, now includes rebel species. Mon Calamari, Camassi, Neimoidians etc
  41.
  42. Class D: Any species deemed too useful to be left alone or as "unworthy" of freedom. Wookies, Talz, Yevetha etc.
  43.
  44. Class E: To be eliminated. No viable use in the empire or considered too dangerous.
