  1. Unity Technologies Japan (UTJ) is the local office which provides sales and support for Unity, the multi-platform integrated develop environment. Unity is a development tool used to create interactive content on over 25 platforms including PC, home consoles, VR/AR devices, and mobile devices. Beyond the world of gaming, Unity is also used in a wide variety of fields and industries such as film and animation, automotive, construction, and more.

  3. Throughout the year we at UTJ hold a number of events geared towards supporting creators and developers, including hands on demos, the Unity Dojo seminars, and Unite Tokyo, the largest Unity user conference in Japan.

  5. We are currently seeking a partner to help us manage events to further our goal of providing high quality events for creators and developers, and to help expand the audience for all of our Unity events.

  7. Responsibilities
  8.  
  9. Planning, preparation, setup, management, and budgeting for events hosted by our office as well as external exhibits and talk sessions (some events may involve collaboration with external companies).
  10. Planning and management of flyers, pamphlets, POP, goods, etc. created for events.
  11. Event notifications (web page creation with CMS, SNS messaging)
  12. Other event related work
  13. Requirements

  15. Knowledge of office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs
  16. Web service and SNS skills
  17. Image editing and creation (trimming, size adjustment, text editing, simple design & layout work)
  18. Bonus points
  19.  
  20. Skills related to creating content/products in any genre (even as a hobbyist)
  21. Video and image creation skills, DTP skills, high-quality graphics skills, illustration skills, high level writing skills, photography skills
  22. Experience managing a community
  23. Marketing knowledge related to film and animation, automotive, or construction industries
  24. Skills and knowledge related to Unity and DCC tools, and digital devices
  25. Essential skills for live streaming and uploading video to the web
  26. Skills and knowledge related to planning and running events and exhibits
