1. The reporter boy had taken notes while she was speaking. She was prepared to slow down if he so needed it. It pleased her to see that he was able to keep up with her speed. Over the years there have been a reporter now and then trying to get a story out of her. But, they never were able to find her as she moved around so quickly that they arrived at her hotel literally minutes too late before she was off to her next destination. She never lost her citizenship in England. She did travel back every so often and stay a few weeks to visit her family before she wandered off once again. She paid her taxes, income taxes, and dues on property she owned, but, she the world was her home and she continued to travel.

4. Tiara couldn't help but to give a soft laugh at the astonished reaction of Callum when she said she bought the place completely in cash. <b>"Of course. I didn't need to get a loan, so it made things move much, much, faster so I was able to start work on this place within days."</b> Tiara was happy with how much the shop had progressed. She had a lot of work done on the shop and her manor. She paid the companies well to get it done with high quality and quickly. The companies had full work schedules for some weeks, but, they got their work done.

7. <b>"I'm very proud of the arts. From my understanding of the economy. It is fueled by the innovation of art through means of the newest scientific and technological frontiers. Art is always there. The entertainment industry pushes the imagination of science and technology to the next level constantly. The arts are our future, my dear boy. They always will be."</b> Tiara really did not understand how the economy ran. But, she did know the arts were a huge part of culture and society. Culture was extremely important to her and she loved it as she traveled the world. Tiara may not have a university education degree, but, she was highly supportive of education. College was just not for her. But her son went.

9.
10. The young journalist mentioned it was an honor to interview her. It warmed her heart and she truly appreciated hearing those words. <b>"The media is art. They control the perception of art. I guarantee you if the media all reports about one person, that person would hit the tops of whatever chart they're on. Politics, music, anything. Perception is a mastery and the arts bring it forth."</b> Tiara knew paper journalism was dying. She liked her paper and it disappointed her. She however did not own any entertainment industry relating to print paper goods. It made her consider of purchasing a paper eventually.
11. <br /><br />
12.
13. <b>"Now... my dear boy, what is the name of your paper? I need to make sure this place has a subscription."</b> Tiara smiled. She had the name of the paper written down somewhere but she hoped the boy would speak the name of it to her. It would help her remember to get a subscription to the paper so they could have it around the shop when people came to drink a cup of coffee or tea while reading their news and leeching the wifi with their mobile devices.

16. Callum had admitted he had heard of her last performance. It was the last time she ever sung in public. The last time she ever performed. It was in fact the last time she ever stood on a stage with some type of audience. Even with the arts she sponsors and the sponsors can go on the stage and take a bow she had always refused to do so. The reporter ran his fingers across the stage as did Tiara. She loved the stage and there was a reason she had it put in. It was a painful memory, but, it was whom she was. She wanted to remember, but, not forget. Her smile was weak.
17. <br /><br />
18.
19. He spoke of the paper being on the last legs. She did not care about the paper struggling, she only cared about one thing. <b>"Genuine news is what the world needs. I'm tired of reading of what the Americans have done in Iraq or the latest politics. What happened to news about the little boy whom saved a dolphin. The man that performed a miracle surgery? News has begun to struggle as tastes changed, it saddens me."</b> Tiara was firm in her opinions. She liked good news. She did not like the half empty type of news that was delivered. She hated anything that had to do with wars and politics in her papers. It was a lucky break she even allowed them into her shop. She would skip over those articles and flip straight to the entertainment sections.
20. <br /><br />
21.
22. The reporter boy was happy for a tour. Tiara was all the glad to give it. She had no problem showing him around the shop. There was not very much about her shop, but, it did come from her heart. She had a steady consumer base. Profit was not being made yet, but, the reporter boy did not need to know that. The place kept her happy and that was all the profit she needed. She truly appreciated the promise of not lying or exaggerating her story. She knew how the press reacted at times.
23. <br /><br />
24.
25. Callum had admitted to the fact that he had heard of her before. The articles from the older papers were long gone, but it took a bit of digging she was found eventually. It had been nearly seven decades since the incident and it seemed to be long forgotten as new generations have rose. He found her eventually and Tiara gave a soft smile to the response. It warmed her heart to hear that Stuart was not forgotten and he still existed out there somewhere in the thoughts and memories of others. <b>"Thank you."</b> Tiara spoke sincerely. She needed to hear what he had said and she was proud of the fact she was not the only whom had some type of memory of her husband.
26. <br /><br />
27.
28. Tiara listened carefully to the young man. He had never seen the video of her final performance. She wasn't surprised as copies of it were few. Very few got out and survived the rest of the war. Very few made it back into the hands of the Western world. It was shocking not a single one was sold to any documentary company. But, nobody was interested in an entertainer from the time where the Holocaust took control of all media over pleasure, enjoyment, and entertainment. <b>"I'll be right back, sweetheart."</b> She flashed her smile and laid her cane against the stage. She turned and walked back to the counters.
29. <br /><br />
30.
31. She had returned to the stage and the side of Callum Wright holding a tablet computer in her hands. <b>"My granddaughter Gwen had many photos and videos I had put on here. No idea how she done it but it is simply marvelous!"</b> The technology fascinated Tiara. A computer she could touch with her fingers without need of a typewriter keyboard. She was struggling with understanding the improvements of modern day wide spread technology, but, she was learning slowly upon settling down. One of the few things she had learn was how to access her photographs on the tablet.
32. <br /><br />
33.
34. Tiara had ran her fingers across the screen and typed in a four digit passcode to unlock the device. She clicked on the large button that read, 'Photographs' and several albums opened up titled various things such as 'Scanned', 'Videos', 'America 1984', and 'France 1944'. There were many albums and many photographs over the years. Gwen had done a marvelous job at getting them all on the small device. Tiara had opened up her French photo album of the year of 1944 by touching the name. She went through the photos at a fast speed scouring across the many black and white photos and few colors of performers, the opera house, the restaurant, German commandants, officials of Paris, and so many more.
35. <br /><br />
36.
37. She stopped on a video and pressed the play button. She handed the device over to Callum. It was late in the summer of the year 1944 on the fourth day of September in the evening. It was exactly nine thirty-seven when the events that occurred on the video begun. Tiara turned her back to Callum as he watched the video. The video had light tones of color, equivalent for the time. The video was vivid enough to make out colors but nowhere near as vivid as the colors one would see in modern day. Her mind did not need to see the video as it flashed to relive the memory sixty-six years, six months, thirteen days, eleven hours, twelve minutes, and fourteen seconds into the past.
38.
39. <p>The evening was going so well. The applause was loud and ready for the next portion. A young woman only twenty-six years of age stood tall and strong upon the stage in front of the crowd. She was dressed up and was giving a small dance as the professional dancers whom worked at the grand opera house wandered off to her sides and done their dance. Out of the floor rose a dwarven woman dancing in a beautiful sparkly red dress that matched her red hear beautifully. She done a beautiful dance and stepped down as the ledge vanished back into the floor.
40. <br /><br />
41.
42. Tiara walked forward onto where the ledge had been and stood on it overlooking the crowd. She turned around as the ledge rose and looked up at the heights to see a few performers rising to the heights. Her husband, Stuart had insisted on performing that night. He wasn't feeling very well in the morning but he was so very stubborn and got his way as usual. Tiara kissed the tips of her left hand and blew it out to him. With a wide grin she turned back around to face the audience once the ledge had reached the full height, just a mere three feet above the stage level. A man sun an argument and Tiara snapped back stealing the show in the opera duet. It was the beginnings of the renowned opera song, Dove sono i bei momenti. She gave it a humorous twist, that made it a cheerful song instead of sad.
43. <br /><br />
44.
45. Just two minutes into the song there was gasps rising from the crowd. Tiara continued her song with her twist upon it as she turned around to look what people were pointing and gasping at. It was her husband leaning off from the ledge too far. His eyes were closed. Tiara stopped. All time in the world came to a halt. The war stopped. The room fell quiet. Stuart had plummeted down to the ground from the heights. Tiara jumped off the stage in haste to rush to his side a good twenty feet from her location.
46. <br /><br />
47.
48. Tiara kneeled down and held Stuart's hand. After thirty seconds of holding his hand his eyes fluttered open. He was still there. He muttered the words, <b>"I love you."</b> Tears fell from Tiara's eyes as she stood up letting go of his hand. She begun to sing once again, Dido's Lament, Thy hand, Belinda, When I'm laid in the earth. It was a song and performance of such sorrow for her. It was her best performance she had ever given. Deeply filled with emotion further then many performers do when they sing the timeless lament. She gave the opera justice and performed it so very well. As the song came to an end after another four moments she returned to her husband's side and kissed him firmly on the lips. His eyes fluttered closed and he was gone.
49. <br /><br />
50.
51. She stood up. She did not bother to look at the crowd. Tiara walked straight off the stage through the audience, fleeing out the front doors of her opera house. There was applause and cheers, while a good number was in shock. As she was running off the applause stopped as they realized it was not a part of the act. She was never seen again in the entertainment world.</p>
52.
53. Tiara stood still. The memory showed her more then the reporter would ever see, such as her husbands last words. A few tears had escaped from her eyes as she listened to the video and relived the memory. It was painful for her. It was called her best performance. She was called a legend. People bickered if she would ever return. Over the years the public has forgotten her, but, the students of the arts never have. As soon as the video stopped playing and came to an end she rose her arms and wiped her cheeks clean. She put on her weakened and pained smile and faced the young reporter once again. She spoke softly in a cracked voice at a near loss for words, <b>"Was it worth it to become legend to lose Stuart?"</b> Tiara was willing to trade everything to let Stuart live again, even her own life with him.
