  1. Real Name and Talent: Tiara Rodriguez, Neurological Researcher
  2. -the only reason she doesn't say the full title during introductions is because it's a mouthful, and Japanese is not her first language so she struggles a bit with it. It's not really a secret.
  3. Biological Gender: Female
  4.
  5. Full Personality:
  6.
  7. Academically intelligent (ties in to talent)
  8.
  9. Curious (ties in to talent. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and she will break personal boundaries to satisfy her curiosity. However, she will mention early on in her interactions with each person to tell them to tell her to stop if they are uncomfortable with her actions, though she will also press on why)
  10.
  11. Headstrong/stubborn (she will strive to complete things she has started, however this can land her into sticky situations with the mm if she pushes too far to find out the mystery behind the killing game. like getting stuck in a vent)
  12.
  13. Socially awkward (because of her disconnect with normal people, she cannot connect with them on the same level of understanding)
  14.
  15. Warped worldview (believes that animals are on the same level as humans, therefore humans should lower themselves to be tested on just like animals do. Will, however, only work on willing human subjects.)
  16.
  17. Extreme guilt (believes herself to be a murderer because she has killed many animals for testing, and will openly admit to murder when asked, although in fact, she has not killed a person. Ironically, this same trait is the core trait that causes her to be a murderer in the KG. Because she believes that she is already a murderer, what's one more life to take to get out and return to Yoshimitsu's side, to the lab where she can be useful with her talent?)
  18.
  19. Reliance on her talent (believes her talent is everything to her, and without it, she is nothing)
  20.

  23. Full Backstory:
  24. When Tiara was young, she was curious about a lot of things. She saw an animal and was curious about how it worked, how it lived and breathed, so she killed it and cut it open. Her parents were understandably horrified that their only daughter turned out to be like this and sent her to therapu, hoping to fix her, or at least make it so that she would not show this side of her anymore. She genuinely did not see anything wrong with it because to her, as long as she was not harming humans, it was an acceptable course of action. The therapist told her that animals can think for themselves and feel pain as well, and therefore deserved to be treated as human as well. The therapist gave her a book to help quell her curiosity, but this only made her more curious about everything. This caused her talent to start surfacing. She studied continuously, especially about workings of the brain (because she wanted to know how chemicals made feelings) and neglected socializing with other people, and was eventually offered an internship in a prestigious university at the age of 13, just after she graduated from high school. She caught the attention of that university and they offered her a scholarship to pay for her degree, which she also passed with first class honors. After that, she was offered a PhD scholarship, which she accepted. Unfortunately, while doing her PhD, she had to use animal models in her experiments. This caused her to wonder; if animals were allowed to be used in experiments and animals are on the same level as humans, why can't humans be used for experiments? She also reasons that it would be more humane to use willing human subjects because humans can give consent, unlike animals.
  25. This train of thought caused her to seek out a contraband dealer by the name of Yoshimitsu, who would be able to supply her with willing human test subjects. He was, at first, opposed to it, but after hearing her reasoning he decided to talk to her and explain to her, over the course of a few weeks, exactly why that was not a good idea. They grew closer over time and eventually got into a relationship. He revealed that he was in the business of contraband dealing for his siblings, who he needed to support after their parents' deaths. She gave him some money from her stipend to help his siblings (she doesn't indulge in much so she has a decent amount of money after paying rent/food) and in return, Yoshimitsu taught her the simple pleasures of life, things that she missed out on due to her utmost dedication to her work, and vowed to quit contraband dealing one day to be a better man for her. When Yoshimitsu had to return to Japan because he was offered a place in Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Dealer (real talent: Ultimate Contraband Dealer), he accepted because HPA would pay rent/tuition/food for him and his siblings, though he promised to return to her side after he was done. She was crushed because he was the first person who tried to understand her views instead of brushing her off as inhumane at first glance, and the person who opened her eyes to enjoying life. She stayed in America to do her PhD but studied a bit of Japanese on the side, hoping that one day she will be able to fly over to find him. They found her eventually due to her connection with Yoshimitsu, offering her the title of Ultimate Neurological Researcher just as she finished her thesis. She finished her course of study, obtained her PhD and flew over to Japan not for the education, but for her love.(edited)
  26. Investigation Behavior: Will check the dead body with little to no emotional reaction, then investigate the rest of the scene. If it is someone she was close to, she will actively supress her emotional reaction to do the same thing.
  27.
  28. Trial Behavior: Will spend a lot of the trial thinking. Has been trained to never share solid theories without evidence and thus will not voice out her opinions unless she has something to contribute to the ongoing discussion.
  29.
  30.
  31. Likeliness to be a victim (1-10) and why: 7. Tiara is physically weak and will be easily overpowered by anyone bigger than her. She also has a tedency to say things that are not socially acceptable, which may anger certain people. She tends to get lost in thought, allowing people to get the drop on her. She is not gullible and cannot be lured into traps easily.
  32.
  33. Likeliness to be a culprit (1-10) and why: 3. Tiara does not see anything wrong with killing people as long as it can be reasoned to be for the greater good. However, her boyfriend Yoshimitsu is very against killing and so she will hold off on killing unless absolutely necessary for his sake. Motives that will motivate her to kill are motives that will kill everyone if they go on, motives that will allow the killer to escape without executing everyone, and motives that threaten Yoshimitsu. She will not kill over grudges.
  34.
  35. Could they be the traitor and why?: Yes. Yoshimitsu can be used to blackmail Tiara. He means everything to her. Tiara as a traitor would be willing to dirty her hands and is not adverse to doing things that other people might be squeamish about (theft, desecreation of dead bodies, emotional manipulation) as long as no one is killed as a result of her actions, the sky is the limit. In the event that the mastermind asks Tiara to kill someone directly, she will only do so to guarantee Yoshimitsu's safety. If not, she will refuse and out herself as traitor.(edited)
  36. Could they be the mastermind and why?: Maybe. Although Tiara herself is capable of being a mastermind, ever since Yoshimitsu entered her life, she has found a morality anchor in him. She will not justify killing unless the killing game is meant for the greater good to some degree (for example, if everyone is inflicted with a disease and she wants to help them by observing the effects of this disease [despair disease] in a controlled setting, or if the participants have committed crimes and are on death row, and Tiara is their executioner/using their bodies for science).(edited)
  37.
  38.
  39. Level of activity (1-10): Errrr like 6-7 or something idk
  40. Time zone: GMT+8
  41. Triggers: While it's not exactly a trigger, I'd prefer to stay away from people RPing severe mental illness because they're usually butchered and portrayed horribly wrong and it irks me more than I'd like to admit. Again, this isn't a trigger, I'll simply create an in charater reason to avoid that RPer if it gets too much.
