If the US was functioning, normally, there would already be a huge counter effort to the protests in the media and in the crowds. So far it looks like a different country that doesn’t have all the three letter agencies, either because they’re standing down or because they can’t function anymore. in either case, it’s a great opportunity to seize the moment.
Besides gathering momentum to get your country back, increasing turnout is going to make a huge difference in how the US is perceived outside which is going to be much more important than a lot of people realize.

Hopefully April 19 will be really big because the insurrection act is coming and there will need to be new tactics at that point. It’s an important time to start creating networks and cohorts that can communicate and change tactics quickly. Alternate media is going to be really important. Not just Bluesky, but any other social media clusters that you can form and we can network together. If we can get a base network connected across the US, that can be heavily promoted for the 19th protests. And then you will be much stronger for May 1 even if it is a very different game by then. The more support systems and resources we can set up before then the better.

One of the things that should be happening now is every person who knows anybody in the military, including veterans, needs to start talking to everyone they know about orders that might be coming and creating solidarity to resist those orders. I know a lot of you already do that, but there needs to be a concerted effort across the US. The military should be discussing this among themselves and planning to support each other in resisting orders from the regime. Those efforts should include convincing state politicians and authorities to have a plan for resisting federal violence and implement it immediately when it starts.
At the same time, people need to be trained in how to respond to military violence. This is where having an alternate media set up is going to be very important, to document what is happening and show the US and the world outside.
The other thing that needs to be happening is to work out alternate forms of protest and disruption. There are endless ways to disrupt the functioning of corporations and governments. Since the election, the regime has conducted a blitzkrieg of operations that everybody is getting dizzy trying to respond to. That should be turned on them. There are way more people than there are government officials. They should have an endless variety of opposition coming at them every day so that they are the ones getting dizzy and can’t keep up or focus long enough to respond properly to anything. Right now they are organizing a response to Tesla takedown and it is taking them forever and using up so many resources. There should be thousands of different things for them to respond to every day.

That is my wish list for April. So far you guys have been outstanding and are exactly where you need to be right now. We need to accelerate quickly to be ready for May.
TL;DR set up networks and cohorts, build alternate media, have a concerted campaign to subvert and resist a military response and use your new networks to create a huge flurry of diverse forms of disruption for them to respond to.
