  1. Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu!/Eevee! Solo Catch 'em All F.A.Q.
  2.
  3. Q. What are you trying to do?
  4. A. I am trying to catch all 150 Pokémon across both Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! as fast as I can
  5.
  6. Q. How long is this going to take?
  7. A. I'm not sure! I've done this twice before (11 hours and just under 10) but I've gotten a lot better at the game since then. Sub 9 would be cool, but I'd be happy with another Sub 10 :)
  8.
  9. Q. Is this 2 Games 1 Controller?
  10. A. No. I'll be switching which game I am playing as I go. A "rule" I am imposing on myself is to never control both games at the same time outside of the trading screen
  11.
  12. Q. Do you have two Switches? How can you trade?
  13. A. I do indeed have two Switches. I'll be trading between the two of them using the local trade function
  14.
  15. Q. This is awesome!
  16. A. I know
  17.
  18. Q. How many trades are there?
  19. A. A lot! I'm not sure I have an exact number, but my guess is that each game will need to receive ~60 Pokémon from the other one at some point
  20.
  21. Q. What are the trouble Pokémon?
  22. A. Honestly, there aren't really any trouble ones. The biggest hurdles are going to be the rare ones (Pinsir, Scyther, Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan, Dratini). There's really no grinding that is needed as the game gives us a lot of things that help with that, mainly mandatory EXP Share
  23.
  24. Q. Is this route similar to the one you used for the Generation 1 version of this run?
  25. A. Not at all actually. Because we don't need to grind for levels, the intermediate trading isn't really necessary. Also, catching is so much more important in the Let's Go games because of the lack of Trainer EXP, so we are going to be catching more Pokémon in each game than you normally would. I definitely don't think my route is the fastest though, so who knows what it'll turn into!
  26.
  27. Q. What do the colors on the PokéDex Counter mean?
  28. A. Here are what all of the colors mean:
  29. Dark Blue - I can safely evolve into this Pokémon. Sometimes I catch a Pokémon in one game, trade it to the other to evolve it and trade it back. Because of that I need to know which ones are safe to evolve
  30. Neutral Blue - I own this Pokémon, but I don't currently possess it (e.g. I caught Bulbasaur and evolved into Ivysaur. I own Bulbasaur but I don't possess it anymore)
  31. Light Blue - I own this Pokémon and possess it
  32.
  33. Q. When does time end?
  34. A. Timing is going to be the same as 150 Co-Op in Generation 1. Time ends with both games have the diploma on screen
