  1. How curious that Voraz requests that.
  2.
  3. But one of the kin such as him was known to get himself in the constant test of battle, which is unsurprising. In all truth, the threats from Thryne were getting less and less impressive by the day..
  4.
  5. Simply because even the Serpent grew accordingly.
  6.
  7. "Thisss drakanite.."
  8.
  9. "An established magi. Full of delusssion of self-importance.. because it can oppose our weakest."
  10.
  11. "Tread carefully- for that one would commit anything, even shame himssself.. for the moment of grandeur."
  12. (Fidi)
  13.
  14. Nia would look at the snake, disappointed with herself that she didn't just finish the job when she first fought him.
  15.
  16. "Sorry Thryne, I should have finished him off the first time around."
  17. (Nia Von Vanbuh)
  18.
  19. The Drakanite began to draw upon the mana from the Chiron shard embedded in his left hip. A serious amount of heat began to build in the area.
  20.
  21. Completely drying the air of any moisture. Making it harder to breath, for all of them save that of Thryne himself.
  22.
  23. The grass, any cloth and all over vegetation began to smolder. Turning brown and then black. Some of the near by trees even catching fire.
  24.
  25. Slowly but sure the lines of power from the Chiron shard began to form. Slowly ebbing their way out from under his armor and crawling over what visible skin there was.
  26.
  27. "Your kind deserves nothing but death for the atrocities you commit. I told you once, creature. I would whip your head from your body."
  28.
  29. He said at first to the serpent demon. There came a dark orange glow from deep within his chest. One that lingered within his maw as he spoke. At this point, smoke had begun to escape from his mouth.
  30.
  31. When Nia spoke he would barely turn his gaze to her.
  32.
  33. "Now is your opportunity Nia. Kill that creature."
  34.
  35. He told her in regards to that of the serpent demon. As for the others, well. Thryne would deal with them accordingly.
  36. (Thryne)
  37.
  38. Quaint.
  39.
  40. It would not be avoidable, would it? The fact that they intend to come upon Fidi like this- but whereas Nia is brought to attention in such manner, there seems to be an evident, quiet hiss escaping the maw of a snake.
  41.
  42. "Yesss, 'Nia'. It is your chance to correct that missstake."
  43.
  44. The emergence of shadows was marginal, not enough to provide the strength to the point of actual defense- but instead, something to lessen the blows that would come its way otherwise.
  45.
  46. The Serpent otherwise awaits. Coiled in a single place..
  47.
  48. Waiting.
  49. (Fidi)
  50.
  51. Nia would keep an eye on the snake demon, giving it the chance to flee last time clearly didn't sit with this one, how would it its a demon after all.
  52.
  53. "Exactly, correcting a mistake that shouldn't even occurred in the first place."
  54.
  55. Just like last time she draws her blade but this time her lightning Aura she emits is more stable, less messy but still controlled by Emotions.
  56. (Nia Von Vanbuh)
  57.
  58. "Dessspicable.."
  59.
  60. "Repugnant.."
  61.
  62. Ever since the awakening to this world, all that the Demon has experienced is constant abuse and dismay from humanity- the very same abuse that could become the undoing of their entirety kind, and not just from demons, but from each other as well. It is just like he said..
  63.
  64. They create their own monsters.
  65.
  66. The shadows deepen- enough to cause the sickening feeling, the bile in the throat to rise at the very scent of intoxicating aroma that is meant to poison the body and rot the flesh. These very shadows become the tool for the Serpent to enforce its darker will on the world.
  67.
  68. A reflection of what is imposed onto it.
  69.
  70. "Incredible.."
  71.
  72. "Ssso confident in your ability.. that will be your own undoing."
  73.
  74. There is naught but a hiss. A promise of degree of improvement, but even if he foresees that it would not be enough..
  75.
  76. It is shown regardless.
  77. (Fidi)
  78.
  79. This time, it was a bit closer for the snake Demon, Nia is clearly slowly starting to lose if she isn't continuing her training and takes Thryne up on his offer.
  80.
  81. Non the less she won and would give the snake a good beating, calling down a lightning bolt from quiet some range to hopefully finish the job, unfortunally she exhausted most of her stored up energy and all it might do is partially stun the snake at best yet its still enough to hurt it quiet well.
  82.
  83. "I told you before to not show your face again but you didn't want to listen, and now you have to pay."
  84. (Nia Von Vanbuh)
  85.
  86. It grew.
  87.
  88. Soon, it could become a palpable force to contend with- and perhaps, soon enough she could find herself faltering before the demon. Until that could happen, however, she finds herself to be victorious once more.. the magics in possession of a Demon clearly proving themselves to be enough to lower her defences and even inflict the minor injury.
  89.
  90. But it remains to be only that.
  91. For now.
  92.
  93. Where the lightning strikes the Serpent, and another episode of abuse is sustained in such manner, a violent "HSSSS!" is emitted, only causing the stunned snake to back away in almost instinctive manner. But when he recovers, and the forked tongue extends in and out..
  94.
  95. It knows. She's growing weaker in comparison with each battle.
  96.
  97. It won't be long until she can no longer keep up with Fidi. It won't be long at all.
  98.
  99. "Sssuch hubris..."
  100.
  101. "For how long will you keep this up?"
  102.
  103. A question of thematter on how much she'd be able to challenge him in the future. But for now?
  104.
  105. It slithers away.
  106. It will remember this.
  107. (Fidi)
