**Keiren:** What are you doing here?

**Maeve:** Give me back my mom! O-or…

**Reed:** She seems to think we have her mom.

**Keiren:** What? Do we?

**Reed:** Not that _I’m_ aware of. But she claims it was a guard who took her. Perhaps she’s being held in the southgate outpost?

**Reed:** I know it’s not a priority, sir, and there’s more important things going on right now, but I couldn’t just turn her away. I was going off duty, but if you’d let me, I’d be willing to volunteer to check on the tavern and the outpost.

**Keiren:** Maeve…

**Keiren:** On honor as captain of Edinmire, I’ll do everything in my power to get your mom back. You have my word.
