'Sup, doods!

Now I'm not sure if my attention deficit issues are giving me bigger troubles or I'm simply suffering from writer's block. I'm forcing myself to talk faster than what I was half-way comfortable with and it's forcing me to pad the scripts out to my goal of at least 50 seconds per video. I'm having to think extra to find appropriate things to add to each lesson. Having to think extra has been my life, in general, so I should be used to it, but I always feel a step behind and it's making the process slower than it's needed to be.

I've decided that I'm going to start streaming these sessions more often to commit to them.

One thing I don't do enough of in life, much less on stream, is just talk about stuff. I often shelter myself to playing niche games and watching niche YouTube content too much to contribute to conversations in a meaningful way. Let's use this time before the upcoming tournaments to talk about stuff—whatever you want to see from this tutorial series, whatever you want to see from me in the future, whatever you want to see from the stream, whatever comes to mind. I could use more feedback.

Speaking of feeling a step behind, I also want to take a step back into the PvP scene. It's been years since I've competed in a Panel Attack tournament. This past tournament has given me motivation to improve. This downtime between tournaments has given me the opportunity. The last expert level tournament of Panel Attack in 2022 is happening this week. I'm going to play in it and livestream my POV. I've also suggested a community night on Friday to help prepare.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I am in the middle of compiling all of the technical specifications common to the series and for each individual game. At this point, I feel like I will end up writing all of the scripts before filming anything, but I may need to do both in tandem at some point.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to lean into the Puzzle League aesthetic, but I have multiple ideas rattling around. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.


First chatting stream on Tuesday! I'll do one as many days I need to on Tuesdays – Saturdays until Tetris Attack tournament registration opens in February. I'm thinking of using Sundays to work on the stream layout for the upcoming tournaments and Mondays to rest and deal with administrative stuff.
