- Oh, What a Day II
- >"Yes. That's right, I said I want the honeymoon suite, what about it?"
- >Nicole stood in front of the clerk, one hand on her hip and one draped over her son’s shoulder, pressing him close to her in a protective way.
- >She didn’t want to lose him in the crowd, especially so far from home.
- >"Mom..." Gumball quietly warned, noticing the stares she was starting to attract.
- >She ignored him and continued to vent at the clerk. It had been a long drive in the hot sun and she was stressed
- >That stress was why they had gone so far away. She needed to escape the deteriorating situation at home for a little while.
- >"No, I'm not 'expecting another guest to arrive later' I'm booking for just two - do you always ask your guests so many questions?"
- >Yeah she was definitely getting too loud now.
- >It was starting to match the way she talked to dad these days...
- >"Mom."
- >"Hush Gummypuss. You gonna give me the keys or not? There. Name? Oh uh Nicole...Senicourt. S-E-N-I-Court, yeah. Alright, thank you."
- >Nicole snatched up the offered keys and stormed off, ushering Gumball along with her.
- >”Jeez. It shouldn’t be that hard to get the right room.” Nicole muttered, rubbing the bridge of her nose in frustration.
- >"Mom come on, please try not to make a scene...This is dangerous enough as it is."
- >"Oh it'll be fine Gumball. We're miles from Elmore and nobody knows who we are.”
- >”I guess…” he replied
- >”Besides, I thought you liked the danger. The stunt at the beach was your idea…” She grinned at him
- >”Uh, no. That was yours. You started it” He wagged a finger at her, proclaiming his innocence
- >”Uh-huh...Hey mom...wanna take this further?” She echoed at him
- >”My voice is not that high pitched.” Gumball said flatly, unamused.
- >”Not anymore.” His mother replied “Now that you’re…” She winked at him “All grown up.”
- >They made their way back to the elevator, and hopefully to the correct room this time.
- >Apparently the hotel had made a mixup, but Nicole thought they had simply not believed that she had wanted a suite on the Romantic Evenings floor for herself and her son.
- >Or rather, for ‘Ms. Senicourt’
- >Nicole hoped that would be enough, honestly. Nobody in Elmore remembered her maiden name.
- >And she knew that she had plenty of distant cousins on her mom’s side that looked a lot like her.
- >It should be enough. Gah! Enough worrying. This is exactly what I came here to avoid!
- >Nicole sighed as she pressed the up button
- >*DING* The doors opened, but Nicole was too busy wistfully talking to Gumball to notice
- >”Now we can finally have that romantic evening togethe-”
- >”Mom!” Gumball almost shouted
- >”Huh?” She snapped her head to him and then to the elevator and went pale
- >”Uh, oh. OH. Hi Mr. Small” She waved weakly, feeling herself go dizzy with fright
- >There was no way he didn’t hear what she just said.
- >”Er, Steve wasn’t it? What’re you doing at, uh, this place…” She bit her lip, glad that she hadn’t forgotten her old classmate’s name at least.
- >”I think that I should be asking you that question Mrs. Watterson.” Mr. Small answered in a low tone and then suddenly brightened “Going up?”
- >”Uh, yeah.” Gumball said as the two cats entered the elevator
- >A long pause began before Nicole reached over past Mr. Small and hit the floor button
- >He simply watched her with an expectant look on his face.
- >”Well” She started “Me and Gumball were just, um, going to visit the...uh, nature museum?” She managed, inwardly cursing herself for sounding like such a lying fool
- >Mr. Small just laughed ”Mrs. Watterson this is Las Vegas. Heh, I don’t think there’s anything natural left for 10 miles around us”
- >”We’re going to gamble?”
- >”While that is more plausible, gosh. You just honestly don’t seem the type.”
- >time to change tactics Nicole thought
- >”Well, why do *you* think I'm here in Vegas with my son?”
- >”Well, it’s not really my business to say. I was just joking with you two.”
- >Gumball relaxed a little, then got angry that he had been so scared and blurted out at him “And why are you here?!”
- >”Oh I’m going to see the burlesque show they’re putting on tonight.”
- >What.
- >”What?” They asked in unison
- >”Oh yeah. I was thinking of adding something Brazilian to my interpretive dance youtube show.”
- >What.
- >”I love exotic dancing” He declared, then threw his hands up in a defensive way “But like, not in a sexual way. I just love dancing in general.” Then he smiled and gave them a wink
- >”But I bet you two lovebirds would enjoy the show that way.”
- >Oh god ohgodohgodohgodohgod
- >Gumball’s heart exploded and Nicole’s mind screamed
- >Everything went still.
- >Everything went silent.
- >Nicole felt herself backed into a corner. The elevator was small, but suddenly got a lot smaller.
- >This is it. The moment you feared. Time to decide…
- >She flicked her eyes about, but didn’t see a camera anywhere in the elevator.
- >Her claws extended and she tensed her muscles to pounce
- >Could she kill to protect her forbidden love?
- >She never got a chance to find out if she could go that far.
- >With wide eyes, sweating palms, and a pounding heart Gumball asked in a whisper “You know?”
- >Mr. Small chuckled “Well gyeah, Of course I do.”
- >”How!” Nicole rasped, her throat scratchy and dry from fear
- >”Ha. Don’t you remember that picture of you in lingerie that ‘accidently’ ended up in Gumball’s lunchbag? What’d it say on it again? ‘See you tonight little man’? All with little red hearts around it.”
- >Nicole thought back. Oh yeah. She thought they had bought her hasty lie when they called her in to explain
- >”I mean, sure you ‘could’ have accidently mixed up your husband’s and your son’s lunches when you made them that morning” He raised an eyebrow at her “But your husband doesn’t leave the house, so why would you be packing a lunch for him? It just didn’t add up.”
- >”Principal Brown believed it.” Gumball said lowly
- >”Uh yeah. He’d believe anything you said. He believes anything I say. That’s why I can drink my ‘herbal tea’ at work when you kids stress me out”
- >Nicole swallowed hard and gave a slow breath “So where does this leave us?”
- >She was still ready for anything. To do anything.
- >*DING*
- >”Ha, it leaves us at my floor.” Mr. Small shrugged
- >”What about us? What are you going to do?” Gumball was still panicking
- >Mr. Small noticed and knelt down, putting a hand on his shoulder
- >”Aw jeez, I didn’t mean to get you worried Gumball. I don’t care about you two having your thing. Love should be free, and beautiful. It shouldn’t have rules or boundaries.”
- >”Your secret is safe with me guys. Ha. I mean, you wouldn’t believe the things me and Janice get up to ourselves.”
- >What.
- >”Uh…” Was all Gumball could manage, suddenly grossed out by having Mr. Small even touching him.
- >Mr. Small stood up and ruffled Gumball’s hair with his hand “Have fun you two!” Then he left the elevator.
- >The doors closed slowly behind him with a quiet hiss.
- >There was nothing but the hard breathing of the two lovers catching their breath
- >”What the fuck was that?” Nicole gasped, falling to her knees
- >All her strength was gone. That was the most stressful thing that had ever happened to her.
- >She was actually ready to murder him. She had gone through it in her head and everything.
- >She had started to plan their escape route and their new lives in Mexico.
- >Gumball had no words. Even the shock of his mother dropping an F bomb paled to what just happened
- >Did it happen? There was no way. But here he was, having a heart attack in an elevator in Vegas.
- >”Are...you ok?” Gumball asked his mom
- >”No.”
- >”I thought we were dead, man. I thought we were fuckin’ dead.”
- >Nicole didn’t even seem to notice Gumball’s swearing, which she normally would have punished
- >”I know what you mean…” She panted “Life...flashing before my eyes. Prison door clanging shut. Sad harmonica music.” She started to ramble
- >”Some guy clanking a cup against the bars?” Gumball added flatly
- >”Yup. The whole shebang.”
- >*DING*
- >The next few minutes were spent in utter silence as they wandered, dazed, through the halls looking for their room.
- >Once they finally got there, Nicole had trouble getting the key into the hole
- >Gumball collapsed into the bright red heart shaped bed
- >She went straight for the waiting bottle of wine in its ice bowl.
- >Nicole popped it open and gulped down straight from the bottle.
- >Gumball just watched amazed. The scare had hit her worse than he’d thought.
- >Having had her fill, Nicole jammed the cork back in and just limply dropped the bottle
- >It thunked onto the carpet and rolled away forgotten
- >She crawled into the bed next to Gumball and laid back
- >He snuggled up next to her.
- >Nicole held up her hands, which were shaking madly. Then dropped them to her sides.
- >Gumball held her tight to him, and she rested her head against his.
- >Her breathing had finally settled, but every breath was a tired sigh.
- >”Lets...Lets just stay like this for a while, ok?” Gumball whispered
- >Nicole nodded dumbly.
- >It wasn’t long before she began to softly cry.
- >This wasn’t how their vacation was supposed to go.
- >If Gumball was going to hug his weeping mother, they might as well do it at home
- >Where it was the norm.
- >Things were getting bad back there. The arguments louder and more bitter
- >She had started to berate Richard - and compare him against Gumball right to his face
- >She shouted about how much of a better man he was, how Richard was the real child around here.
- >That worried him. Dad wasn’t very observant...but Anais was.
- >Gumball thought he’d started to see her spying on him and Nicole.
- >She hadn’t seen anything...yet.
- >They never seemed to get a moment alone anymore. That was half the reason they’d come here.
- >Yes. A shroud had settled over the Watterson household. Tension was high, and unease in the air.
- >Nicole had stopped crying. She’d fallen asleep in his arms
- >Gumball couldn’t blame her. He was drained too.
- >No, this wasn’t how it was supposed to be at all.
- >Almost every time they tried to enjoy this secret of theirs, it went sideways.
- >Gumball closed his eyes.
- >They could rest up now though. They still had all evening to themselves.
- >One night together in the same bed…
- >And then back home.
- >Back to scuttling about in the shadows of their own home at all hours just to sneak a kiss
- >Gumball knew how much that bothered his mother.
- >The fact that is was so hard to find time to...couple
- >He still laughed, and she did too at how embarrassed he could still be about sex.
- >He enjoyed it. He often longed to be with her.
- >Sometimes he’d start to daydream in class. It was hard not to.
- >He’d remember her softness, the little moans.
- >The way she’d whisper his name. God that was hot.
- >Then he’d snap back to reality and look around him, feeling paranoid that the other kids had read his mind.
- >They hadn’t. They couldn’t. He had to reassure himself everytime though.
- >Gumball began to doubt then. This relationship, no matter how much he loved it. Lived for it, even. Was starting to hurt the two of them.
- >Should they…?
- >Gumball was roused from his half-asleep thinking by Nicole shifting beside him
- >She rolled half onto him, and put one arm out across his chest.
- >Then she started to quietly purr
- >Gumball smiled.
- >No, this was worth it.
- >Anything was worth the little moments like these.
- - - -
- >”Mmmm...mmmhff...huh...unmmmfffh…”
- >What the…? Oh. “Oooh…” Gumball moaned as he awoke and instantly recognized what was going on.
- >He had often awoken to this. Her head slipping up and down as she readied him.
- >Sometimes a quick morning bj was all they could sneak together.
- >Gumball felt bad that he didn’t get to return the favour very often. It was selfish for him to get all the pleasure all the time.
- >But she seemed satisfied enough just to have this from time to time
- >Especially if her enthusiastic noises were anything to go by.
- >Gumball found his mother to be almost terrifyingly insatiable.
- >She always seemed to get this mad light in her eyes when she got frisky.
- >It scared him a little.
- >But it turned him on a lot more.
- >She removed her mouth and stroked him instead
- >”Wakey wakey...” She sang, crawling up and straddling him with her hips
- >”...Eggs and bakey” She huffed as she impaled herself on him
- >Not for the first time, Gumball was amused that he never needed to warm her up.
- >He wondered how long she had lain there beside him playing with herself before she couldn’t wait any longer
- >The sun had gone down, He could tell from the darkness
- >They never had flicked on the lights. But the city outside the open window was bright enough to see by
- >Bright enough to revel in her beauty above him.
- >He would never get tired of that.
- >Gumball guessed that her clothes had been long ago been discarded
- >Meanwhile, all she had done is pull his pants down to his ankles
- >She was wasting no time.
- >Gumball grabbed her thighs, then ran his hands up to squeeze her ass playfully
- >She gave that cute little squeak she always made when he did that
- >Then he kept going, coming back around to run up her belly
- >Her hands came down and grabbed his.
- >They stayed like that, holding hands between them, gazing into each other’s eyes
- >Their pace slowed, there was something special in the air
- >”I love you.” Gumball whispered.
- >It wasn’t the first time he’d said that. But it was the first time it seemed to really mean anything.
- >The first time that it sunk in for the two of them.
- >Nicole looked away all of a sudden, blushing like a schoolgirl
- >It was silly, but it made her heart spin around to hear that
- >”I...I love you Gumball.” She adjusted herself, lying atop him face to face
- >”I don’t know what I’d do without you.” She admitted, almost ashamed of her dependence on him the past few months
- >Gumball kissed her nose
- >”You’re cute when you go all lovey-dovey.” He grinned at her
- >”hmmph!” She puffed, suddenly embarrassed at her behaviour.
- >She half-lept back to her former position and paused long enough just to give Gumball a smug look
- >”Buckle up kiddo.”
- >Then the ride really started.
- >”Woa-woah!” Gumball exclaimed as she bucked atop him
- >Fuck it was good. Fuck it was almost too much.
- >”Unh. How’s that for lovey-dovey?” She laughed at him as she went wild
- >Slamming up and down, she panted like a dog
- >God yes. This is what I needed.
- >No more fucking slinking around, no more keeping it down
- >”Aaah yes! Gumball! Fuck me!”
- >She shouted, she screamed. She let it all out.
- >Everything that had been building in her since she’d seen him at the beach.
- >All the stress of her failing marriage, work, money problems. All of it.
- >She was finally getting the release.
- >Gumball grunted with the effort of holding back. It was too much.
- >”Ooooh Gumbaaall...Fill me up, baby. Giveittomeeee…!”
- >He came and she gave a final orgasmic shriek, arching back and then falling forward completely wasted.
- >Their heads bonked against each other as she collapsed onto him.
- >”Ow.” Gumball said after a stunned pause.
- >”Sorry” She answered, muffled through the pillow she had practically eaten.
- >”That...that…” Gumball struggled to find the words “Was amazing.”
- >”Glad you enjoyed it.” Nicole slurred, then tucked her arms under him in a hug and kissed his cheek.
- >”I’m just glad I got to be with you.” Gumball whispered.
- >She didn’t answer. She’d already conked out.
- >That was fine. She’d had a hard day. She’d deserved that.
- >Even if Gumball was going to spend the next while trapped in a deathgrip hug, bruised and battered.
- >She was kinda heavy laying on him like that.
- >And the sweat began to fall off her onto him, as well as the results of their orgasms.
- >He hadn’t even managed to pull out yet. And he didn’t think he was going to get a chance until morning at this rate.
- >But if he was going to get stuck, there were much worse places to do it.
- >And as he started to drift off, Gumball had a thought.
- >Was she on the pill? They’d been lucky last time but…
- >Hmmm...The thought scared him less now than last time.
- >This wasn’t just a fun time they were having
- >It was getting serious.
