- EXPANSION NAME:
- The Titan Soul.
- STORY SETUP:
- Gul'dan was a pawn for every powerful entity.
- Kil'jaedan, having been defeated at the Tomb of Sargeras, is out of the picture.
- The Eye of Aman'Thul was placed into the Tomb of Sargeras to sever the link between the Azeroth and the Legion.
- "The Three," now make their move, attempt to free themselves from their prisons.
- C'thun, Yogg'Saron, N'zoth
- Gul'dan had betrayed his people for personal gain and unimaginable power when he accepted the pack between himself of Sargeras (through Medivh)
- During the first war, Medivh was killed while Gul'dan franticly searched his mind for the location of the Tomb of Sargeras.
- This put Gul'dan into a coma. (End of the First War.)
- N'zoth influenced Gul'dan to help bring the Burning Legion to Azeroth.
- N'zoth would speak to Gul'dan while in his coma.
- N'zoth wants the power of the Legion to escape from his prison.
- Gul'dan was led to the Tomb of Sargeras by N'zoth whispers.
- Gul'dan betrayed Kil'jaedan's plans and left in search of the Tomb of Sargeras. This foiled the Legion's/Horde's victory over the Alliance.
- Gul'dan, using his immense power, lifted the Tomb of Sargeras from the sea.
- Kil'jaedan set a trap for Gul'dan, and killed him for his betrayal during the war. (Second War.)
- N'zoth's corruption had taken root near the Tomb of Sargeras for centuries by this time.
- N'zoth, C'thun, and Yogg'Saron had bid their time, waiting for the day the Legion came to Azeroth.
- Since the Great Sundering, 10000 years ago, the then-sunken Temple of Elune (Tomb of Sargeras) was lost to time.
- The alternate-universe Gul'dan reopened the Tomb of Sargeras. Now it's time for the Old Gods to recreate the Black Empire.
- N'zoth maws swallow the Eye of Aman'Thul from the Tomb of Sargeras.
- N'zoth will soon be freed from his prison. Using the Eye of Aman'Thul, N'zoth may also free C'thun and Yogg'Saron.
- Y'shaarj was completely eradicated. (SoO.)
- C'thun was defeated, not killed.
- Yogg-Saron was defeated, not killed.
- N'zoth has never been seen, but his existence is undeniable.
- "The Three" were only able to use a tiny fraction of their power due to their imprisonment.
- Without the Eye of Aman'Thul, Sargeras cannot manifest himself to Azeroth as it requires a huge about of energy to create a portal for Sargeras.
- The Old Gods used the Legion's own pawn, Gul'dan, and tricked Sargeras into bringing something powerful enough to release their bonds.
- With their full power, the Old Gods will have enough influence to completely corrupt Azeroth's titan world-soul.
- This corrupted titan will have the power to defeat Sargeras.
- Sargeras would obliterate Azeroth to further rid the universe of this corruption.
- Sargeras would end all life in the universe before letting it succumb to the Void Lords' will.
- It becomes our duty to protect Azeroth from the Old Gods, so that Azeroth can be an end to the Sargeras and Burning Legion.
- All life will be destroyed by either Sargeras, or cursed by the Void Lords corruption. We choose to make our own destiny.
