Reno Sanctum - The Gathering

Reno Sanctum says, "Now that I think of it."
[22:22] Reno Sanctum says, "She probably was the one who said she'd eat me."
[22:22] Reno Sanctum says, "Eh, oh well... Past be the past."
[22:23] Fleur Sanctum says, "You can all sit or stand."
[22:23] Fleur Sanctum says, "Either is fine."
[22:23] Reno Sanctum asks, "A field huh?"
[22:31] After bringing all present family and friend. Fleur smiled as she lead the assortment of Sanctum, Otho, Altin, Salis alike towards a secluded area more quite and serene. With a beautiful flower bed that she now stood before.

"I want to start by saying to all here.. that I love you all and hope that we can share something together. Memories."

With that she began her presentation to all within view.

Closing her eyes and focusing purely on the Light around her from the lamps nearby to the very stars above. Her body began to flux in an Aurora of colors. Like that of a rainbow. She shined but not to bright as to blind those around but to display something beautiful as she continued on to speak.

"I would like everyone present to connect with someone they are nearby. Reno to Akiko. Elim to Calum. Cassius you can connect with me. Hold that persons hand and focus on me please. I want to show you all something. With a strong enough connection through emotions, memories can be made. Let me know when you're all ready please."

She inquired.

[22:34] They weren't really sure what they should be doing here, but... Fleur was doing Fleur things so they figured they would play along even if just for a time.

Rosalete's words of Theria inspired her to put her focus there, and so they would try to pay attention at least.. She glances towards Reno, their hand slowly extends.

She wasn't exactly sure how she felt about this handholding shenanigan, but here we go. "Right right.." They hold their hand out, and wait.

[22:35] Calum followed after slowly, unsure what was even happening to begin with. He heard Emil mention something about 'family time.' Upon arriving, however, he soon came to the conclusion that this was some sort of sentimental, religious gathering.

Was Fleur attempting to convert these children to her cult?

"Memories, yes... Definitely."

Calum glanced at Emil, quirking a brow. It was all definitely weird, but should he even go through with it?

The Altin child presented a hand regardless, not wanting to ruin his friend's fun if this was his sort of thing. He was a trooper, despite it all.

[22:36] This... This was a strange way to have family time, but then again what else did he have to do? Trudging his way behind the bushel of flowers a soft hum is held in his throat-- It was an uneventful day, sadly...

Though that was just the calm before the storm. There were distractions, of course, and sun shines before that fateful storm. Murmurs of an attack by the Demons to be done soon enough weren't falling on deaf ears for the Otho.

Perhaps it was time to join the Order after all.

Waddling beside Fleur he'd offer his usual, sickeningly happy smile towards the Sanctum - A student. Sure, this was weird, but so be it. It had a sweet little underbelly to it all, and that's what mattered. Offering his hand over towards the other he'd give a light nod.

[22:40] Reno waited patiently as he listened in on what Akiko had to say to him. He was somewhat ready for what could happen and so. He reached out to grab ahold of her hand. Closing his eyes as he would then focus on his inner energies, attempting to do what Fleur instructed and connect.

[22:40] Reno Sanctum says, "Hope this works."
[22:43] Perfect timing. Just when Calum was being overtaken by boredom, Fleur had proposed a family meeting. Although they weren't her family, surely he was close enough for the kind priestess to accept their patronage.

Arriving to the beautiful, flower budding field the boy sat himself on a bench, leaving space for his friend to occupy. Gandering to Fleur as she her presentation began, shimmering with light stronger than her usual. A marvelous spectacle for all to see- but for what reason?

The request seemed a tad odd. Though it seemed Calum was perfectly willing to play along with it. It wasn't like he could refuse both his teacher and friend. Succumbing to the pressure, his hand met Calum's clasping onto it loosely.

"What're we doing Miss Fleur?

[22:45] Through this connection. Reno really wondered what he would see, what he would experience. If it would be the same sensation as when he trained the arts of the Holy. If it would reveal to him some light unseen by his eyes.

It was in a way, poetic.

[22:48] From a rather heartwarming conversation with his father, to wandering around the city. Until somehow the cat managed to stumble upon the 'family meeting.' Those tired grey eyes would squint at Fluer, and then Cassius, before sighing.

He had no idea what was going on, but it was probably... Interesting. Yeah, interesting was probably the right way to describe whatever this was.

After a few moments of silently staring, and probably judging, the cat made his way over towards one of the empty benches, opting to not sit near anyone. Then, once on his bench he'd simply plop himself down onto it, as he simply waited.

What the heck was even going on here?

[22:59] Taking Cassius's hand as everyone had done to their partner. Fleur would smile as everyone was now connected. With that she began the next part of the event at hand.

As the night went on she focused on the her star.

Biblos - The North Star, House of Emotion.


"I'm here to show you all how much you all mean to me, Memories."

Fleur now took a deep breath as she concentrated on all the memories she had with everyone present. With a sudden burst of her Holy Magic she expanded it over Cassius. Then to Reno and Akiko. Finally Elim and Calum. As well as the mangy cat that she loved like a brother. Now allowing her self to convey her memories to the given person.

To Cassius.

The day was bright, as Fleur met her soon to be friend and titled father. The first time she experienced Holy Magic. The purity of it's emotions shown. We're a true blessing she would keep dear, giving back that which you have taken the time to show. A light that will now shine to others.

To Reno.

It was first a misunderstanding, now true friend given a light. It brightened day by day until you came seeking. Now your a member of a family to protect. The torch has been lit who will you give it to?

To Akiko.

You were like a flower, waiting to be picked in a deserted garden. A light that was dimming but now given a chance. To receive love within a family that will never leave you. Trust in one who your getting to know she will try and become something you can be proud of.

To Elim.

Always trying to preform, showcase your exceptional music to those around. People can only hear what you show. Pure and tranquil sound from your music has touched the light within. Sharing in a time with you even though brief a connection of emotion through a lesson in the ways of Holy Magic was bliss.

To Calum.

To be so high above but given the chance to act. A great leader is within. Always able to show those around a proper path and will to go forward. A true friend with a hard exterior. With a big heart.

To Ioannis.

To be always loose and relaxed. Fun and giving. You show those around you the truth as it should be. Giving a sense of realism that can make anyone smile or laugh. A true and loving friend. With a Loyal heart.

With that Fleur's light dimmed and her eyes opened the presentation was over and she fell to her knees with the exhaustion of mana that had taken. She was breathing and smiling as tears now streamed down her cheeks.

[23:05] Lightly grasping Reno's hand, perhaps through some means he could at least glean a bit of what she was feeling.. but for the most part..? It was as tumultuous as a wicked windstorm, a cacophony of emotion that was the thunder, and the crushing weight of something.. Though it was all too much to put a finger on.

It seemed as though there were layers far beneath what one could only assume to be a hard and hot-headed Kitsune.

The feelings from Fleur reaching her, bringing forth a small smile to fox-touched features her sharp but small canines revealed. "No.. Thank you Fleur.." She was truly a good person..

She only hoped her own storm wouldn't interfere with what her sister wanted to do.

Once all was said and done, her hand was tugged from Reno's, a yawn released with a soft high-pitched squeak emitting as she returned to smiling once more.

[23:06] It was... Not what he was expecting at all. Calum could both feel and see the memories, a connection formed with Fleur. Prior to now, he had never taken much of it seriously, though he couldn't deny the connection.

His hand tightened around Emil's own, before it all finally finished.

"..."

Silence lingered, he remained speechless. His gaze shifting from Emil over to Fleur, quickly noting her collapse to the ground below.

His facial features changed from amazement and back to his normally smug self. He couldn't be seen as emotional, especially since he wished to keep the cool guy persona.

Strong, cool men couldn't cry, nor could a cadet of the Order.

"Pretty cool."

[23:08] Strange? Yes, but it's something he didn't mind in the long run. It wasn't like he hadn't been in Fleur's shenanigans before after all. With a gentle hum held in his throat his gaze drifted between those present.

Witnessing the fruits of Fleur's training, however, brought a welling of pride into his chest. Raw manipulation of golden mana mixed with blessings from the stars; The glow travelling from person to person - That usual feeling of safety bubbling on up his back.

Then came the imparted memory, or at least the feeling that came alongside it. From the warmth of their first lesson to what she'd progressed into. It was a feeling he was able to hone in on when teaching others; One that warmed his core.

Yet the faltering Sanctum to his side brought him out of those thoughts-- Cassius moving to help at least slow her fall to her knees. With a wide, pleased grin on his mug he'd nod towards Fleur.

"You did good!.. Not just anyone can do that, Fleur. Thank you for that, really." With a gentle chuckle bubbling out of him he'd try to help her back up to her feet.

[23:09] Those tired grey eyes of the cat shifted away from Fleur, and Cass, and towards everyone else present. They all... Seemed to be holding hands? Well, each of them had a partner of sorts, but him? He was by himself, as it should be!

Oh well, he'd just hold the hilt of his gun instead, that would be a suitable replacement. Right? Probably not, but that wasn't going to stop him from doing it.

There's a bit of a pause, as Fleur's light began to spread from person, to person. Ioannis' mouth opened to say something, but before he could his entire body was overwhelmed by the emotions of his friend.

Their memories of him, well simply put they brought a smile to his face. Despite being a mangy cat, it seems like he had somehow managed to make a bit of an impact on someone he considered to be a sister.

Save for his father, his friends were all the family he had, which made... Never mind. The Felinae didn't need to worry about that right now, he just needed to focus on the good times, and smile.

Which came easy to the cat.

Though as the rush of emotions faded away, the cat's usual goofy grin seemed only to widen. Honestly, stumbling from Gendo's tavern to here was a great idea.

"Thank ya', Fleur... Really. That's all I can think t'say. Just thanks."

With that, the cat fell silent, as those dull grey eyes of his shift up towards the sky.

[23:11] Focused on the process of this connection. Reno had a clear mind, only to be filled with a memory of the past. This was that connection, a gift to be remembered. Their value to each other, the very meaning of fellowship being displayed from person to person.

Reno experienced these memories, as if he were walking through it all again. Like an audience in the background. He watched as he accused the Aegis of forcing their beliefs upon a free land. He had it all wrong, and even then, when he was ready to fight and hamulate Fleur. He still saw a bright girl, whom he thought at first, was in the wrong guild, wasting her potential.

Now, to his friend, he see's a beautiful yet humble light. Something he couldn't turn away from. And from these memories, he spoke, and a certain joy was there in his heart. "It's an honor, meeting you. I say."

His emotions would reflect if they could... And for those he's met recently, such as Akiko, wouldthey see the moment of when she displayed her true colors through his eyes. She was bright, someone seeking adventure just as he did. In his eyes she was worth more than he could ever be, she had potential, and nothing held her down. She had no vows to make just yet. Perhaps a vow only to herself and the journeys ahead.

Now for Ioannis, the friend he met through his father, Sajid. Someone whom he saw as a brother despite their brief encounters. He was somewhat envious of the lad, he had a family whilst Reno had only the clothes on his back, and the torn apart map to get him through the strife. Ioannis, through Reno's eyes was a great successor, someone who isn't to be taken lightly. The result of an inherited Will.

"A Chain of Memory, hmph. What a wonderful world," Reno opened his eyes slightly towards the brimming moon.

[23:14] The bright flash of light erupted from his teacher, flooding him with her memories. A jam-packed delivery of emotion, a message for him and him alone. Such a tranquill display all to express appreciation.

Emil's hand tightened against Calum's in return, his lids tightly closing, lips pursing as the boy took it all in. Fleur had performed the act not out of necessity, but out of love. To reinfornce the importance, the care held for all those attending.

"Thanks for teaching me Miss Fleur."

He reciprocated, teeth gritting slightly. His words felt hollow and unappreciative compared to the compassion she showed. He wanted to show her through action, to give to her something equal to what was given. Whether it be a performance of that music she adored; or an act similar to what she had just done was to be decided.

[23:15] Being held up by Cassius she spoke gently.

"I love everyone here as Family. I hope you all enjoyed it.. Thank you."

She closed her eyes now as if to rest into Cassius.

[23:18] Reno was now lost in thought. "Passing the torch huh? Maybe it'll be to my own kids, if I have any 'these days."

With both hands in his pocket. The teen went for a stroll under the moonlight, whistling a tune. Similar to dancing In the Rain. And with that, he waved them goodbye, for this, was goodnight.

[23:33] Now, being away from the meeting of memories. Reno decided that before he would rest for the night. That he would meditate, trying to find his inner peace, to find what makes him happy. Though now, it seems that source of happiness should change. The years of a teen was troubling but, it built strength.

"Happiness huh? SO that's what drives the Holy arts... And the Will to protect the innocent... I wonder, if there are any mysteries behind the art." All he could do was meditate, maybe even pray a bit for this to work. After all, it was all mental for him, to make this breakthrough and now think about the past.

There was only so much holding him back. So now, in the hour of alone time. He'd focus on himself and only himself. How he could make improvements, and what could be done, in order for Kraus to see him as worthy, for him to obtain the very basics of the Holy Arts. Alone, until the one who shall guide him arrives.
