The woman laughed coldly, "I highly doubt that. Why should I not have you killed for trespassing?" She said, she had no desire to actually do so, but she wanted to know exactly why there was a half dead woman and another woman around the kitchens. She had a lingering fear of the worst, but she pushed those worries away.

Cetea was listening in on the conversation, and knew she needed to speak. "Mortimer... Wanted... Cook me..." Said Cetea weakly.

"Cook you? Preposterous!" The woman shouted, her tone panicky. Mortimer was always rumored to have been fond of human flesh. But to think he would abduct somebody  and have them cooked? It was simply too much to believe. But... Mortimer planned to have a private dinner tonight, and the woman feared that the unfortunate woman before them was related to it.
