  2.
  3. Name: Arturia "Martyr" Eberhardt
  4. Additional names/titles: Knight of Thunder, Servant of the Queen of Shadows, Consort of the Black Queen, the Black Knight, Vi-Ra-Nor, Knight of Power, the Argent Wolf
  5. Age: Unclear
  6. Gender: Female
  7. Race: Human*
  8.
  9. Appearance: Arturia is tall, but not incredibly so, with long bluish-silver hair largely kept under control by its own sheer mass. Her bright blue eyes look from behind glasses when they are practical and contacts when they are not. Somehow, despite being a professional fighter, she has managed to steadfastly avoid dropping below "ever so slightly chubby." Looks graceful until she moves; this is reversed in combat.
  10.
  11. Arturia usually drifts towards loose-fitting clothing. Much of her wardrobe is more bedraggled than one might expect, as she rarely gets rid of clothes unless they’ve been rendered effectively unwearable. A preference for heavier clothing over lighter often leaves her rather warmer than she’d like, but it does help keep the sun off of her somewhat pale skin, which suffers dearly to her distractibility at times. Often wears a mantle into combat despite the heat, though she had the good sense to get all of hers made to slip off if grabbed
  12.
  13. Her most striking features, however, are the canine ears sprouting from her head, and the guard sprouting from her breast. Her holy weapon is sheathed within Arturia herself, rammed through her chest and coming out the back. The sheath is fused with the surrounding tissues and flares at the end to permit drawing the long weapon unassisted.
  14.
  15. Personality: Arturia is sometimes thought to be a mass of contradictions. Somehow, she manages to be both short-tempered and patient, working through great deals of easily-roused frustration. She seems to carry herself with little regard for the opinions of others, yet those same opinions haunt her relentlessly. The trait that brought her Knighthood, however, is her willingness to suffer on behalf of others; she is kind to a fault, often sacrificing her own well-being to put another at ease. This can sometimes grow into resentment, but she rarely expresses such; after all, it's her job to be nice, and confrontations are difficult.
  16.
  17. Though she often finds herself unmotivated and exhausted by life, it’s not impossible to get energy out of her. She delights in exploring her interests and, despite her other traits, tends to thrive under pressure (at least for some time.)
