Growing up in the small backwaters village of Woodhouselee with her parents, Tabetha was a easily distracted and bored child, but at least she didn't want for much. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a full time house-wife, caring for Tabetha and her two younger brothers: George and Ian.

She attended a local private school from the age of 8, until she attended St. Andrews University at the age of 16, doing a three years bachelors degree in the history of Asiatic nomads and graduating with a 1st. She then completed a Masters, writing her thesis on the same topic, focusing especially on the Mongol empire. Upon realising that the graduate market for History graduates was slim, despite her prestigious university and good qualifications, Tabby decided to pack up and try her hand at life in Europe. A years time out with her gal pals, and a few select guys, proved worthless as she ended up poorer than ever, due to stubborn nobility causing her to reject her parents wealth.

Still, life was enjoyable and Tabby moved to Toronto for a while to stay with some relatives, but was kicked out after a scandal involving her two cousins, one male and one female. Her relatives agreed not to tell her parents however, and Tabby borrowed enough money from them to move to Los Santos. This is her position as she arrives: a small savings account containing enough to get buy on until she finds a job; an intelligent brain with a fantastic memory and a logical attitude; and a large heart, usually seeing only the best in people.
