  1. some additional evidence cholesterol/saturated fat is not harmful ... but rather beneficial for humans

  5.
  6. Dietary cholesterol statistically-significantly increased cholesterol, HDL, sometimes LDL, but not Triglycerides and VLDL. Dietary cholesterol was not statistically significantly associated with any coronary artery disease, ischemic stroke, or hemorrhagic stroke.
  7. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26109578/
  8.
  9. Low HDL + high LDL/Triglycerides/VLDL is associated with CVD, that doesn't mean it causes CVD however. Carbohydrates increase LDL/Triglycerides/VLDL. Blaming cholesterol for CVD is exactly the same as blaming firefighters for the fire. Just because every time there is a fire, there are firefighters, that doesn't prove they caused the fire. Cholesterol is involved with almost everything the body and the body is made out of it. About 25% of the bodies cholesterol is in the brain. To believe that dietary cholesterol is harmful for animals, is a sign of severe mental illness. (considering there is no evidence to begin with)
  10.
  11. Only epidemiological studies (surveys) have ever shown cholesterol negatively associated with diseases. Epidemiological studies can only generate theories which must later be proven with interventional studies before anyone can make any claims about causality. More than 80% of epidemiological hypothesis turn out to be wrong.

  16. "The high egg diet certainly represents a significant cholesterol load. An egg contains between 250 and 550 mg of cholesterol and thus our patients imbibed over 7,000 mg of cholesterol per day. Contrary to expectations, serum cholesterol and lipoprotein levels remained normal throughout the period of study."
