- Q | What's so special about PAL?
- A | PAL is slower than NTSC-U in various ways. On top of lower frame rate, various glitches have been patched, most importantly, STVW.
- Q | Why do this?
- A | PAL was my first DK64 speedrun region before I invested in NTSC-U gear. As a result, my time is god awful (3:15:xx), and can be improved. On top of this, we've recently come up with a PAL NLE route. It would be good to have a run which correlates with this route.
- Q | Will this happen often?
- A | No. I have very brief access to my old PAL console & cart, and I might as well do a run while I can.
