- Grim Reapers.
- Beings that attach themselves to an entity associated with death. They help such entity manage the flow of souls. Grim Reapers have certain ranks, and operate on a power called "Orders". Reapers start out with a humanoid form but change over time. Each Reaper is equipped with a Scythe.
- Orders come in some varieties.
- 1. Basic Orders. There are only two Basic Orders.
- Soul Collection Order: Grants the grim reaper's weapon the ability to store souls in it, and discharge them in death's realm entrance, where other grim reapers escort them around.
- Distortion Order. An Order that makes Grim Reapers invisible to weaker beings, and overall disguises their presence. The stronger the being, the more difficult it is for the order to work.
- 2. Modifier Orders. Orders cast on a Reaper's body.
- A Fiery Flesh Order for example can make a part of a Reaper's body permanently on fire. Modifier Orders are inversely proportional to the area of application. In the case of Fiery Flesh above, applying it only on your finger tip can make it hot enough to melt most metals. Applying it over your whole body will just make it a moderately warm fire cover.
- 3. Weapon Orders. Orders that change a Reaper's Scythe. They come in two forms.
- A. Alter Weapon Orders which change the weapon's shape and qualities.
- B. Enchant Weapon Orders which change a weapon's abilities, such as say, make it sharper or cut especially more against things, or you know, you can make Excalibur.
- 4. Ability Orders. Orders which grant a Reaper the power to use a specific ability. It can let you summon fireballs, or thunderbolts for one. These are too broad to be categorized properly.
- 5. Punish Orders. Orders specifically meant to punish a Grim Reaper, such as limit their powers or hurt them constantly.
- 6. Specific Orders. When an already used Order gets out of hand, a Specific Order is applied to keep it in check. One Reaper is said to have been able to produce a very corrosive poison, that was constantly exerted from his body and was invisible. A Specific Order keeps this poison in check and only releases it on dsmgerous situations.
- Grim Reaper Ranks:
- Reaper. A simple reaper who fills a daily quota of souls and is content with this, living a normal life. These only have basic Orders.
- Reaper Soldier. Someone who is also sent to track troublesome souls, as well as specifically escort important ones. These are granted three additional orders from the basic ones. They have a higher daily quota.
- Reaper Chieftain. These command a group of Reaper Soldiers, as well as coordinate them. They deal with strange beings trying to intervene and enter the peaceful death's realm denizens existence from the outside. They have a total of five orders aside from basic ones.
- Reaper Captain. These Reapers specifically hunt outside the impassable mountains limiting the area (however vast) where normal souls dwell, and seek to bring down whatever being lurks there. They have a total of seven orders allowed, besides the basic ones. Master over 5 Chieftains.
- Reaper Commanders. Some powerful reapers who are tasked with escorting the most important souls, as well as kill people who harm the balance of the flow of souls. A total of 9 orders aside from basic ones. Command 5 captains.
- Reaper Lords. Specifically employed against truly abominable beings, serious threats to a flow of Souls, as well as immortal beings. 12 orders aside from basic ones. Always between 2-4 of them at a time.
