[22:34] <Tangent_> Holly walks inside, wearing her usual oversized, somewhat-battered hoodie and glancing from side to side, searching. She has her backpack slung over one shoulder. There always seems to be a faint smile curling on her lips, like she's just been told a joke only she can hear, and she looks somewhat wide-eyed. She pauses as she sees Nadia and strolls over, waving as she gets closer. "Hi!" She says brightly. "It's Nadia, right? We were supposed to meet up, talk about
[22:35] <Tangent_> hunting? Sorry I'm late, took me a while to find the way in again."
[22:38] <@IWBTG> The young girl looks up from her mug of coffee, putting on a smile to greet the girl. "Right, don't worry about being late. I just got here myself, honestly; I guess you're Holly?"
[22:38] <@IWBTG> She removes the hood of her hoodie, shaking free her long red hair.
[22:42] <Tangent_> "Yep! Nice to meetcha." Holly smiles back, standing just in front of the table. She pulls back a second chair and sits down, fingers resting on the table as she looks to the other girl. "Seriously, is it just me or do they make it hard to get inside on purpose? Pretty sure I was walking on the ceiling at one point."
[22:44] <@IWBTG> She breaths a laugh through her nose, shaking her head. "I'm not sure anything about any of this makes sense, if I'm being honest."
[22:45] <@IWBTG> "I'm lucky I found somewhere that isn't making me fight monsters all the time."
[22:45] <Tangent_> Holly laughs, a touch ruefully. "Yeah, tell me about it...Still, it's not all bad, is it?" She tilts her head at Nadia's last words. "Hmm?"
[22:47] <@IWBTG> She can't help but smile. "No, I guess it's not. If I'm being honest it's better than what I had before."
[22:47] <@IWBTG> She seems reminiscent of something for a few moments before snapping back to the present.
[22:49] <Tangent_> "Oh." Holly replies simply. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asks without thinking, then her mind catches up to her mouth. "Sorry, I shouldn't pry. It's none of my business." She adds hastily, looking down at the table.
[22:50] <@IWBTG> "N- No, I mean... It's not... Hmm..." She seems like she's debating in her head whether to talk about it or not. It's not like she'd ever confided in anyone before. "... Well... I mean, what about you? You said it's not all bad, so this whole gig must not bother you too much either, right?"
[22:53] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> A sudden flash and chime signals the door. As the light pours in from outside, so does the figure of a teenage girl. She has sky blue hair going to her shoulders and a right bang that hangs to mid chest level. She is wearing a white headband with a matching set of black sports top and shorts while drenched in sweat. She pants for a few seconds before marching in. "Deliveries done; I need a break. Cider please!"
[22:55] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Seeing a table with company. Plala quickly wipes herself down and takes off her headband. "Mind if I keep you guys company?" She asks sheepishly.
[22:56] <@IWBTG> Nadia seems slightly hesitant, but nods her head. "Yeah, I think that's fine." She looks to Holly for confirmation.
[22:56] <Tangent_> Holly hesitates, then sighs, and shrugs with a smile. "Right. Sorry, forget I asked. And...honestly, I really don't know...I mean, some of it's definitely cool..." Holly says, uncertaintly, glances conspiratorially at Nadia, raising a single finger. A flicker of sparks, and she grins briefly before sobering up again. "Definitely like the powers-" She jumps. "Oh, hey! Sure, no problem!" She chatters, maybe a bit too fast.
[22:58] <Miss_Arachne> Before the door closes a hand catches it and lets a young woman enter. Her white hair is silhouetted against the black background and similarly colored clothes she is wearing. She wandered over to the waitress to place her order for a glass of wine before looking over the room.
[22:59] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "Ah, thanks." Plala quickly takes an open seat. Seeing the guest behind her, she announces by habit. "Welcome!"
[22:59] <@IWBTG> A friendly smile. "Nice! My powers aren't really that flashy, if I'm being honest. Hella cool though, at least in battle."
[23:00] <Tangent_> Holly looks back to Nadia. The moment's passed. "I guess...I'm not sure yet. We're making a difference with what we're doing, and that's what counts, right?" She's not as sure as she lets on, but the thought of her lightning lets her smile as she talks about.
[23:01] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala chimes in, "We talking about magical girl duties and such right now?"
[23:02] <Tangent_> "Cool, hmm? Let me guess...um...did you get ice powers?" She looks over to Plala, moving over to give her some space. "Kind of, yeah. We might be joining up for a hunt sometime, you want in? The more the merrier, right?"
[23:03] <@IWBTG> The red-headed girls seems much more convinced. "Exactly. Killing monsters is way cooler and useful than whatever we were gonna do before, right?" As she finishes her statement and hears Plala chime in, she nods. "Mmmhmm."
[23:03] <Miss_Arachne> "Evening." Victoria says back to Plala. Her glass arrives and she takes a long swig from it and tries her best to overhear the conversation without being nosy.
[23:04] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala, smiles and flexes her arm. "Gimme a holler anytime, I send baddies to hell for breakfast."
[23:05] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> After a moments thought, she adds, "Though that would depend on the time of day, I might have calls from my band mates."
[23:05] <Tangent_> "Well..." Holly hems and haws, foot scuffling the table. "Maybe. Kind of. I guess what I'm saying is...it's an important duty, and it's not like there's anything we can do about it, so why worry about...about something that isn't a problem anymore?" Her smile's a bit strained now, and she quickly looks to Plata. "You. I like you." She grins. "Um...Sorry, have we met before?" An apologetic shrug. "I have a terrible head for names."
[23:06] <SunAnon> A blonde girl walks in, she too is wearing a large over sized hoodie. Her hair is up in a pony tail, and she is carrying a large white mug with here as she walks in. Seeing Plala and Victoria, Sarah waves at them before going to the counter and filling up her cup.
[23:06] <Tangent_> "And faces..." She adds. "Sorry."
[23:06] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala laughs heartily, "You look familiar as well! And I'm god awful with names, too!"
[23:07] <@IWBTG> Nadia's smile drops slightly. She addresses Holly. "Uh, right, I guess... I... Do you really feel like things were better before?" The latter part of her sentence  is sort of hushed.
[23:08] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> At the topic of the past, Plala is clearly agitated for a second, before noticing the new customer and waving back with a smile.
[23:09] <Miss_Arachne> Victoria gives her a slight wave, a small frown on her face. "Evening. Or perhaps it's morning by now."
[23:10] <Tangent_> "Well, I guess it's going to be a mystery! Let's start over, okay? Holly Ward." She sticks out her hand, then looks over to Nadia. She chews her lip, not answering. "I...I guess...I..." She swallows, looking away. The newcomer's a distraction. "Hey." She nods to the newcomer.
[23:11] <SunAnon> Sarah moseys over "Hey Plala. Sorry about leaving so quickly last time Victoria, someone need my help.
[23:12] <@IWBTG> The girl seems concerne, the thought that this might not have been a positive change for someone just now entering her mind.  She seems like she's about to say something, but bites her lip, instead choosing to half-heartedly wave at the newcomers. "Ah, hey everyone."
[23:12] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala nods to Sarah in understanding, but says nothing as to not interrupt the table's discussion.
[23:15] <Miss_Arachne> "I understand. People do need saving, and that's what Magical Girls are here to do, right?" Victoria said. A hint of bitterness seemed to flavor her speech, but her smile returned after she spoke.
[23:16] <Tangent_> "Yep." Holly nods, relieved at the chance to change the subject. She misses the undertone in the newcomer's words. Holly glances back to Nadia, who seems dejected. She doesn't want to let the silence drag on any longer either...or think about the questions she'd raised. "Um...you guys want to move over to the sofa? Looks like there should be room for all of us over there..."
[23:18] <@IWBTG> The girl nods, trying to help with the topic change and downing the rest of her coffee. "Right, that's probably way more comfortable, isn't it?"
[23:18] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala nods softly. "This is the first time we've ever really used it here, and I'm dying to try it out." She says amicably, trying to soften the tension.
[23:20] <Tangent_> Holly smiles gratefully. "You too? Um, yeah...I'm new too, had to go the other day but heard good things about this place. And, well, I can't say no to a good cup of coffee...so here I am." She gestures animatedly as she walks. She'd hated coffee before...but she wasn't going to argue with her new tastebuds.
[23:22] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala has a slight laugh. "No no, it's not that I am exactly new, it's just that this place surprisingly gets little company."
[23:22] <@IWBTG> The sound of a chair scraping against wooden floor sounds through the air as Nadia gets up. "So let's go try it then!" She strolls over, keeping a stray eye on Holly at the same time.
[23:22] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "Though if you haven't tried out the parfait, I definitely recommend it."
[23:23] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "Speaking of which," She adds, "Orders of parfait for all of us please, on me."
[23:23] <SunAnon> Sarah follows, "Well, this place is actually kind of hard to find if you don't know how to look for it."
[23:24] <@IWBTG> Nadia does a twirl as she walks, continuing toward the couch backward with hands behind her head.
[23:24] <Miss_Arachne> Victoria makes her way over to the couch. Grabbing a few spare pillows she sits herself down next to the furniture. "If you don't mind, couches are not quite agreeable to my......... condition."
[23:24] <@IWBTG> "Plala I love it when you're around. I get everything for free."
[23:25] <Tangent_> "Oh? Guess I'll have to now." Holly laughs, then looks to Plala. "Um..are you sure..." She mumbles, then shakes her head and smiles. "I guess I owe you a parfait now...thanks." A giggle at Nadia's twirl, then she just looks slightly confused by Victoria's comment. She looks fine. "Oh, okay." is all she says though.
[23:25] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "The benefits with having Ethyor as a pet." She jokes as she moves to the barista to bring help bring the parfaits.
[23:27] <Tangent_> "Aw, that's mean..." Holly jokes, then blinks. "Wait...Ethyor? Hippie looking guy? Smells like weed, knows about magic? That Ethyor?"
[23:28] <@IWBTG> The red-headed girl crashes casually on the couch, arms and legs splayed out as if she were at home. "Yeah, who is that? I keep hearing about him."
[23:28] <SunAnon> "That's two parfaits that I owe you now Plala." Sarah says, taking another long drink from her coffee.
[23:29] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "The one and only. Legends say he's still blazing even now." Plala winks and places down the tray of parfaits. Whispering to Victoria as she bends down, "Do you need any particular accommodations?"
[23:29] <Tangent_> "Um...I don't know, really, but...he's a friend of a friend. Kind of. Only met him once, but he seemed pretty cool for a stoner."
[23:30] <SunAnon> "Wait a hippie that knows about magic? I feel like I've heard about this guy." Sarah looks quizzical for a moment.
[23:30] <Miss_Arachne> "I do not need anything special dear. I just cannot sit on a couch anymore. By *ahem* backside will not fit. And thanks for the parfait."
[23:32] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala nods in understanding and takes a seat on the far end of one of the couches.
[23:32] <Tangent_> "Um..." Holly almost blurts out a question, but tact wins out for once and she hastily looks away to Sarah. "Yeah...Um...you want to meet him or something? I could ask Yoko."
[23:33] <SunAnon> Sarah looks at Victoria for a moment, but doesn't say anything.  "Yeah, sure, he sounds like a pretty chill guy."
[23:33] <SunAnon> looking back to holly
[23:34] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Under her breath in a tone of frustration she soundlessly murmurs to herself, "Bastard never answers any of my questions." And catches herself, smiling to make sure no one caught her response.
[23:35] <Tangent_> "Oh, okay. I'll pass it on then. No promises though."
[23:36] <@IWBTG> "So, uh," Nadia tries to keep the conversation moving. "Anyone have any interesting stories from the field?"
[23:36] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "Personally I think he's a little too perverted, caught him taking a peek when I was showering." Plala giggles while recollecting.
[23:37] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "This little money binge is my way of getting petty revenge." She winks as she takes a spoonful of parfait.
[23:37] <@IWBTG> The red-head blushes, scratching a cheek and laughing nervously. "Yeah, ha, what a pervert..."
[23:38] <Tangent_> Holly blinks, then makes a face. "Anyway....Um...does a jello cube count?”
[23:38] <Miss_Arachne> "Mostly just quite a few close calls. I think I can still feel the last one. Lightning bolt nearly took off a leg."
[23:39] <SunAnon> "Jello cube?"
[23:39] <@IWBTG> She cocks her head, echoing the room. "Jello cube?"
[23:40] <Tangent_> Holly glances to Arachne, laughing nervously at her last words. "Yeah...that sounds really careless of them, that'd be silly, definitely wouldn't do something like that..." She seizes on the distraction and looks to the others. "Oh, yeah. Jello cube." She grins, enjoying their attention. "So it's night, yeah? I tracked this magic charge to a mall..."
[23:41] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala talks with her spoon in her mouth, "Jewwy coob mnster? (Jelly cube monster?)
[23:41] <Tangent_> "And, yeah, we got out of there." She finishes. "And Yoko's been letting me crash at her place ever since. So yeah, jello."
[23:41] <Tangent_> "Well..more of a gelatinous cube." Holly comments. "Stupid thing was lightning proof...I still think that's cheating." She grumbles, playing with her spoon. A stir of her parfait.
[23:42] <@IWBTG> "Jello." Nadia repeats, fighting back a smile.
[23:42] <Tangent_> "I guess you could call it a giant amoeba...but it really did look like jello!"
[23:43] <Miss_Arachne> Victoria too seems to only hold back a small chuckle. "That sounds interesting at least."
[23:43] <@IWBTG> She shrugs her shoulders and laughs, a genuine smile on her face. "If you say so. I wish I got monsters that I could pack in my lunch."
[23:44] <Tangent_> "Yeah...interesting...I could definitely have done without the sprinklers going off though...And hey! It was dangerous!" Holly comments mock-indignantly.
[23:44] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala looks up and counts her fingers, "hmmm, the interesting ones I've fought are an army of armor, a big boar, and a giant chicken."
[23:45] <SunAnon> "I don't know, from how you describe the smell, I would have almost welcomed the sprinklers."
[23:46] <Tangent_> "Ohhh, let's hear about the giant chicken. Sounds scary." Holly grins, waving her fingers for emphasis, then looks to Susan. "Well, yeah...but then it blew up. Everywhere. You don't want to know..."
[23:46] <SunAnon> "Wait, a chicken? like how big are we talking here?"
[23:47] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "Oh it was huge! I'd say around a story and a half? Strange that all it did was run around until we caught it and destroyed it." Plala face seems puzzled as she takes another bite of her parfait.
[23:48] <@IWBTG> Nadia blinks. "So wait, Jello and a chicken? You guys are getting some ridiculous monsters."
[23:49] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala seems a little shaken, but laughs it off, "Heh, it's much better to have these typical monsters in my opinion."
[23:49] <Tangent_> "Well..." Holly pauses. "I got a few weird ones before that too...There was that spider..."
[23:50] <@IWBTG> She sighs. "All I've gotten so far is an Evangelion ripoff. I'd welcome a giant chicken, honestly."
[23:50] <@IWBTG> "A... Spider?" She glances at Victoria briefly.
[23:51] <Miss_Arachne> "Oh?" Victoria said. "Tell me more about the spider. If you don't mind."
[23:51] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala quietly collects the empty glasses of parfaits and walks towards the counter.
[23:52] <Miss_Arachne> Victoria's smile seems to have left and an expression of neutrality can be seen over her wine glass as she drinks again.
[23:52] <Tangent_> "Oh, cool, an Eva?" Holly looks around. She follows Nadia's gaze, but looks baffled, both by the look and Victoria's interest. She shrugs. "Yeah, that was...wasn't fun. It was...well, giant, you know? And I was kind of new. Even more new, so I didn't know what I was doing...It was hiding out in a house and...well, it got hungry." She shakes her head, looking troubled.
[23:53] <SunAnon> Sarah looks around the group and sighs. "Well, All your fights have been more interesting then mine. The one I help the other girls with was just a tall dude in armor. He..." Sarah trails off. (Coffee Sipping Intensifies)
[23:54] <@IWBTG> Her expression turns a little more somber. "Did everything go alright?"
[23:54] <Tangent_> "It actually looked a bit like a person too, only with spider legs and clockwork. I...I think I got lucky, honestly. I zapped it, it died, end of story." Holly sighs, thinking back to the head it'd been gnawing.
[23:55] <@IWBTG> She sighs. "Well then everything turned out alright. No worries, right?"
[23:55] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala walks back to the couch slowly, cautiously eyeing the reactions of the customers.
[23:56] <Miss_Arachne> "That would be called a drider my dear. And you must have been doing your.... duties and dispatched it." A shimmer ripples across Victoria's arms and darker skin has replaced  her pale white arms.
[23:56] <Tangent_> "Yeah. No worries, another win for love and justice, yay." Holly looks up, moving to give Plala a bit more space on the sofa as she comes back.
[23:57] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala replies with a quiet, sad smile and a nod.
[23:58] <Tangent_> "Yeah..." Holly looks up, and stares. "Um...Victoria? What's with your...Are you doing that?" She looks at the other girl a bit closer. There's something niggling at the corner of her magical vision.
[23:59] <@IWBTG> Nadia frowns, seeming worried. "... You... Yeah. Another win." She shakes her head lightly and seems like she's going to ask Holly another question before thinking better of it.
[00:00] <Miss_Arachne> "Oh." she says looking down. "Slipping again. I must apologize." Victoria closed her eyes and breathed a few times before a similar ripple happens and she returns to normal. "An illusion. Helps me keep up appearances."
[00:01] <Tangent_> "Oh...are you...um...burned or something?" Holly asks, the words slipping out then looks horrifed. "Sorry. Sorry, forget I said anything, stupid question..."
[00:01] <SunAnon> Sarah's face blanches. "Oh... I see."
[00:01] <@IWBTG> The girl bites her lip, declining to say anything.
[00:02] <Tangent_> Holly's looking away guiltily. "Sorry..."
[00:03] <Miss_Arachne> "No. Before I say any more, I would like to remind you that this establishment has rules against fighting inside of it. Not everyone got the good end of the deal on becoming magical girls."
[00:04] <SunAnon> Sarah nods.
[00:04] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala quickly rises to her feet and whispers into Victoria's ear, "Don't tell them. It's too early."
[00:04] <Tangent_> Holly's looking back uncertainly, mind racing as she listens. "No fighting. Okay...Um...you don't have to say anything if you don't want to, didn't mean to ask if you don't want to talk about it..." She babbles nervously, torn between growing curiosity and awkwardness.
[00:05] <@IWBTG> "W- wait, you were going to be turned into a magical girl too?" She cries out bluntly; apparently this is news to her.
[00:05] <@IWBTG> She leans forward in her seat in surprise, snapping her gaze to Victoria.
[00:06] <Tangent_> "I...I thought we all were..." Holly blurts, looking confused and following the others gazes back to Victoria. She's missing something. Something obvious. "Um..Victoria? Did...Puuchu...Did he do something to you?" She asks hesitantly.
[00:06] <SunAnon> Sarah's face is white. "You can't possibly mean...  They wouldn't be that cruel."
[00:06] <Tangent_> "Other than...Um..."
[00:06] <Miss_Arachne> "I did not really have a choice. The fuzzball that did this didn't give me any options."
[00:07] <Tangent_> "Yeah, know how that goes, but...Did what?"
[00:07] <@IWBTG> Nadia goes slightly pale, reaching one of her own hands up and looking at the palm. "That's... No way... How close was I, then...?" She mutters to herself.
[00:09] <Tangent_> Wait...she can't be...Holly looks right at Victoria- then through her, at the crackling field of electricity she's learning to associate with people. There's something strange about it. It's too big. Too spread out.
[00:09] <Miss_Arachne> She smiled widely. "You asked." In a shimmering flash the girl sitting on the pillows was replaced by a darker skinned one from the waist up. On her lower half however was the body of a large spider. Her eight legs curled underneath ner, matched to her eight eyes.
[00:10] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala closes her eyes and breathes out a sigh of frustration.
[00:11] <Tangent_> Holly stumbles off the sofa. She swallows. "You...You're a spider." She blurts. "You...you're a monstergirl. One of the ones Puuchu talked about. But you're...you're normal." Her fingers twitch, but she seems more confused and nervous than murderous...and isn't even trying not to stare. Too many eyes.
[00:12] <SunAnon> Sarah looks at Victoria, tears in her eyes. "The Puuchu did that, didn't they?"
[00:12] <Miss_Arachne> "Illusions dear. And Puuchu was the very one to do this, just to let you know."
[00:12] <Miss_Arachne> "Not intentionally, I am sure. Though life before is sort of fuzzy."
[00:13] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala's carefree facade fades as she continues whispering, "Please, they know now, you can turn back the illusion now. Can't you see they're scared?"
[00:13] <Tangent_> Her breathing's fast and low. "Okay. You...You...Right. Puuchu's a dick. Got it. Big shock there...But...he said you're monsters. That you kill people, and spread chaos and suffering." She looks up, a hard look in her blue eyes. "Is that true? Have you been hurting people?"
[00:14] <@IWBTG> "'Another way out' my ass..." The girl mutters to herself, standing up off the couch and starting to pace around the room. "That's not a second chance. That's a nightmare."
[00:15] <Tangent_> Holly's staring at Victoria in wary, horrified fascination. She tries looking her in the eyes, but can't seem to decide which set of eyes to meet.
[00:15] <SunAnon> Sarah stands stiffly, "Um... Excuse me for a moment. I-, I'm Sorry." and with that she walks quickly toward the bathroom.
[00:15] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> "Please!" Plala whispers again in desperation to alleviate the situation.
[00:16] <Miss_Arachne> "Of course they are Plala. It is magnificent. But if you insist, and to preserve this lovely establishment." She shimmered again and resumed the illusion. "I haven't been walking around killing people, if that's what you're asking. Maybe a bit of fun, perhaps a kidnapping or two. But no real harm."
[00:16] <Tangent_> Holly half-glances as Sarah vanishes, but doesn't seem willing to take her eyes off Victoria. She swallows, looking pale.
[00:17] <Tangent_> "Fun? Kidnapping? That's your idea of fun?" Holly looks and sounds disgusted. She shakes her head. "That...That's still wrong, even if Puuchu..."
[00:17] <@IWBTG> "You say that like a kidnapping isn't harm." She turns to Victoria, angry at the situation in general. "But that's not the point; I'm sure you didn't go around kidnapping people before, did you?"
[00:18] <Miss_Arachne> "Hmmm." Victoria said placing a hand under her head. "I suppose I didn't, but as I said. Details are a bit fuzzy."
[00:18] <Tangent_> "Puuchu...He must've messed with her head." Holly sounds sick. "But...that doesn't make it any less wrong."
[00:18] <@IWBTG> She shakes her head. "Your name. What is it?"
[00:19] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala sighs in frustration and worry, but is otherwise quiet and ready to act if need be.
[00:19] <Miss_Arachne> "Miss Victoria Arachne."
[00:19] <@IWBTG> "Not that. Your real name."
[00:19] <Tangent_> "Um...I don't think that's going to work..." Holly interjects quietly. "I...I have the same thing..."
[00:20] <Tangent_> She looks back to Victoria. "So...um...how long has it been since... since it happened?" Her voice's hesitant but she's talking to Victoria like a person again.
[00:20] <Miss_Arachne> "Miss Victoria Arachne." she said slower this time. "That is my name now. Before this happened, I have no recollection of a name."
[00:21] <@IWBTG> She glances over to Holly, confused. "... You too? But I'm... I'm fine..." She looks back down at her hand, gears grinding in her head. "This isn't adding up..."
[00:22] <Miss_Arachne> "A month and a half or so?" she said to Holly. "Hard to tell an exact date, my home doesn't have a calendar."
[00:22] <Tangent_> "Okay...You don't remember ANYTHING, Victoria? I mean I remember my name, I can say I'm Holly. I mean Holly. Holly!" Holly shakes her head. "Goddamnit, Puuchu...I knew he was a prick, but...wow." She shakes her head.
[00:23] <@IWBTG> Nadia sighs. "But you remember at least, right?"
[00:23] <Tangent_> "Yeah...it...it's a bit fuzzy, to be honest..." Holly sinks back onto the sofa, fidgeting uncomfortably.
[00:24] <@IWBTG> She shakes her head. "Okay then, Victoria, tell me about who you were before. Anything. Favorite foods, movies, I don't care. Something about the person you were who didn't kidnap people."
[00:24] <Tangent_> Holly looks up at Victoria, torn between hesitation, pity, curiosity, and instinctive loathing.
[00:26] <Miss_Arachne> "Nothing. And I don't really think it matters anymore. Perhaps to you, and her" she motions to Holly, "it does. But the position I am in, I don't really care much."
[00:26] <Tangent_> Holly chews her lip, but doesn't say anything.
[00:26] <@IWBTG> "Like Hell it doesn't matter, you moron! If you were happy as the person you were before why wouldn't you fight to keep that?" She seems upset. "You should do everything in your power to be the person you want to be; you need to have hope, dammit!"
[00:27] <Fisticuffs_Drummer_Girl> Plala subtly motions her hand behind her towards the barista.
[00:27] <Tangent_> "I...You...You don't want to be a monster, right? Or hurt people, right?"
[00:28] <Tangent_> There's a strange, almost desperate note in her voice.
[00:28] <SunAnon> Sarah staggers back to the couch. She sits down heavily on the couch and looks at her coffee.
[00:32] <Miss_Arachne> "I d...." A puzzled look sweeps across her face for a moment as her words catch in her throat. "Either way, this is what I have to deal with. Me, a monster, and all of you, the hunters." She takes another sip from a wine glass that is almost empty.
[00:34] <@IWBTG> She takes a step forward and leans down into Victoria's face. "Fuck. That. If I had that attitude I would've... I..." She hesitates. "... I wouldn't be alive right now. It's always worth fighting for something better, or to hold on to who you think you should be."
[00:34] <Tangent_> "I...But...You...you're a person too, and you haven't actually hurt anyone, even if..." Holly's crumpling her parfait over and over in her hand and doesn't notice.
[00:35] <Tangent_> Holly blinks. Then blinks again. Her head feels heavy. She's slipping over, but doesn't mind for some reason. She slumps, half curling as her eyes close.
[00:36] <@IWBTG> She turns around, suddenly, brushing hair out of her eyes. "Holly, about our conversation earlier, are you unhapp..." She trails off as the girl seems to collapse. "... Holly?"
[00:37] <SunAnon> Sarah turns to look at Holly. "Holly?... are you okay?"
[00:37] <Miss_Arachne> "Well then. It seems like I have had an effect on the girl. I do believe she has either passed out, or fallen asleep."
[00:37] <Tangent_> Holly mumbles something sleepily. "Bwuh..."
[00:38] <@IWBTG> She walks over to the girl, determined to check on her now that Hero of Justice mode is active. "Holly are you alright?" She kneels down and takes a hand before beginning to feel faint herself. She doesn’t have time to even check the girl’s pulse before collapsing on the floor next to her.
[00:41] <SunAnon> Sarah looks at Victoria. "Do you remember what I said earlier?" She looks back down at her coffee.
[00:41] <Miss_Arachne> "What about in particular dear?"
Sarah  locks eye’s with Victoria. “I made a promise that if you should ever need my help, you shouldn’t hesitate to call on me. I meant that Victoria. If you need my help, with anything, I’ll…”  The girl loses track of what she is saying, and looks at Victoria one last time before passing out, slowly spilling the coffee out of her cup on to the floor.

Plala places her hand on her face and releases a deep sigh. “Thanks, Barista, your time manipulating abilities are as impeccable as always.” The barista, unfazed, begins to pick up the fallen cups.

“They’re going to find out eventually, you know.” Victoria says in a dry, unapologetic tone while finally finishing off her glass.

“They don’t need to know, they’re sti… they’re not ready yet.” Plala stammers trying to find an excuse. “This is something they have to find out themselves, or not at all if possible. I’ll… I’ll find the answers and tell them when the time is right.” Her worried voice betrays her doubt.

With a slight pause to catch her breath, Plala bends down and starts cleaning up the mess.
