  1. Hmm it's kinda hard to decide what to do in this situation since there is no ultimate, BEST solution or way of dealing with this situation where you can be 100% sure if it works out in the end or not.
  2. I've been or still am at the point where I couldn't decide what to do as my course is not going too well and I don't enjoy a big part of it. I came to the conclusion (for now at least) that I'd stay and try to get that degree in my course (just for the sake of the degree as you already mentioned) so I have at least something after this course no matter if I want to work in this kind of branch or not. Because in my opinion it is better to have something that you might not like but that might help you to earn some money for some time or follow other dreams/interests what you want to study or become later because very often a degree you already have makes up A LOT if you want to apply for another course that might suit you better.

  4. On the other hand the idea of moving to your mate and work there for some months or even years just to find out what you really want to do with your life doesn't sound bad either. Although my fear I'd have in this scenario is that I would end up working years in a low-paid job but still unable to decide what to do because there are so many possibilities to chose from nowadays.
  5. It is kind of like when you're going to the super market. You know you have to buy certain things.
  6. You look on your list and want to buy cheese. You end up in front of the cooling shelf having loads of cheese varieties but you can't decide which one to pick and you end up standing there for several minutes deciding which would be the best one to choose (excuse me for this trivial example :]).

  8. This overload of possibilities is comparable to the one you'll probably face sometime which makes you unable to decide what to take and may cost you years where after you might not be able anymore to choose something you might like. And that would be my biggest fear when I'd get offered to work for some years in order to choose one of the numerous possibilities. Even if your college degree or however you call it wasn't the best (mine wasn't the best either :P) you have multiple options.
  9. Currently this is why I prefer studying cos even if I take 1-2 years more for my degree cos it's hard I'm still 22 or 23 years old which is the time where many people just apply for a course at university. So if I'm pissed off by the course I took I might be able to study something else because this degree might help me to do so and study something that actually interests me (as I already mentioned).

  11. In the end it's still up to you and you have to take the risk of whether staying at uni and studying which also consists of the risk of failing OR moving to your mate, working which might not end up good as well since you don't know how much your decision-making ability will improve during that time and you might look back thinking it was just a waste of time (altho I'm not a big fan of saying 'waste of time' since all the time you actively do something that affects your mindset concerning 'important' things as wasted, but you get my point).

  13. Anyways best of luck with your decision because it won't be the easiest :)
