  1. My Lamia part 3
  2. The Naga comes.
  3.
  4. Kristi's eyes blink as she *yawns* waking up, "man what a weird dre..."
  5.
  6. She looks to the side seeing the red and gold patterned snake skin of the creature she had such a strange sexual encounter with, seeing the vulopteous woman's torso part resting on her tail while coiled in a circle around Kristi showing its impressive length. Kristi stands up slowly and quietly. Her mind goes over the events since she last woke up, being tied up like a sacrifice to, presumably this very creature, this double-m, which as far as she knows shouldn't be able to harm a person like any other bio-android or even a...
  7.
  8. She looks over to the severed head of the leopard that attacked her, still sitting on the ground not far away. She looks up, high above what she can see are clearly artificial lights, but she has a hard time telling how high up and even where the wall would be; partially thanks to the thick trees and apparent hilly landscape. She steps carefully over the tail of the creature she knows to be a "Lamia" as far as the last time she looked through on of the Bio-android companion catalogues that the mail room where she works sends out. She walks over to the severed head spotting a strange marking in its ear, and takes a closer look, a "CC" followed a series of numbers and letters. Her eyes wide as she thinks, "comfort companion". She reels back to it jumping out of the bushes, "maybe it was just jumping...no..."
  9.
  10. She remembers its claws, its teeth, its snarl, it may have happend quickly, but it was clearly stalking her and trying to attack her. She had seen plenty of these "synth (insert animal)" at the stasis shipping company where she works; and knows they are designed not to attack people...supposedly. She can only imagine it must have been starved, maybe it too was let loose in here intended to be prey, like a cricket in lizard cage. She looks back at the Lamia and thinks how she hasn't heard anyone speak over an intercom, even when she yelled out, no idea who could have put her here...perhaps its not some sick sexual fetish...or worse yet...what if it is? Some sicko kidnapped her, stripped her, covered in BBQ sauce, chained to a pole with beef jerky on a platter. She was meant for the Lamia to eat...what if they don't put anymore food in here...they leave her here...until it...eats her? The thought is enough to prompt Kristi to turn and try to figure out which way will reach a wall the fastest? She just needs to find a wall and then follow it to a door...right?

  14. Elsewhere the old man, Arthur Durande, watches the monitor with a smile as the girl walks away from the only thing that could protect her. He switches his feed to bring up the bio-locks on the other feed in the enclosure, he prefers to only keep ten prey animals in any one of the enclosures at a time, ten per each of the now four enclosures (plus a wide arrangement of smaller animals and fruit bearing plants for ambience and for both the prey animals and prey for the prey animals if need be to feed on...as well as multitudes of other plants). Despite his claim to that Robert guy and other potential employees before it hasn't been attempted to be a self contained environment for some time. Carefully controlled livestock for his pets and feed for the livestock. Aside from multitudes of small birds, fish no bigger than blue-gills in the ponds and stream system along with an actual self sustaining population of feeder fish, amphibeans, small reptiles, and crustaceons, the ten *now nine* prey species in this enclosure.
  15.
  16. He brings up the drone tracking systems. His special stealth drone following the girl located near the south eastern end of the enclosure away from where most feed drop offs are, plus
  17.
  18. 1: A synth-Small Pig (currently by a northern gate to the fourth enclosure)
  19.
  20. 2: A synth-Jumbo Rabbit (currently hiding in brush in eastern brush raspberry patches and grass feed)
  21.
  22. 3: A synth-Large Parrot (currently near the gate to enclosure two: between the girl and the gate he recently opened, but its flight path is heading away from the gate. The damned thing has been in there for months, smart enough to learn how to avoid the two apex predators and the sounds of the gates opening, it has actually moved between two of the enclosures on its own).
  23.
  24. 4: A synth-mini hornless cow (in the central field near the large pond)
  25.
  26. 5: A synth-pony (same field near the large pond)
  27.
  28. 6: Big Mouth Bass (in the central pond)
  29.
  30. 7: A synth-monkey (hiding near western wall among some bushes chewing on some figs)
  31.
  32. 8: A synth-mini elephant (near the gate to enclosure three, which is currently where two others like it are, likely followed their scents there or calls).
  33.
  34. He had been worried the synth-leopard would attack the girl before the Lamia had the chance but he teleported her in almost ontop of the Lamia; which took its time till she woke up, several hours before closing in. He *shrugs*, "they said its not really a snake, but that whole wiggle the mouse thing has proven to be true I see. Still."
  35.
  36. He turns the camera to the opened gate, the parrot may be moving away from it, but its still between the girl and the gate. He pushes a button on his desk and a mechanism starts up on the gate spraying something into the air. He watches the parrot take off in a rush in the opposite direction, "clever little bastard," mutters Arthur, "so it can smell that...weird...thought birds had poor senses of smell...then again these are all synth animals. Bastards must have modified it when I asked for a challenging prey animal for them to hunt."
  37.
  38. "Ya know," says Arthur to no one but himself, "I normally only use this spray to lure them out of their enclosures into another one to clean the enclosures. Playing a little game of musical chair luring one to an empty one and the next into its. Although they...especially the Naga always seem to race about following the scent of the other one to the door...shame...guess this means I may actually lose the Lamia over this."
  39.
  40. -else where, else where, someone else watches the man watching the girl, and this other man in shadows merely mutters after listening to Arthur talk so aloud to himself, "dumb ass."
