Why I suddenly stopped streaming

Some of you might have remarked, from early~mid-June I stopped streaming although I was doing it almost daily.

- I was improving a lot in ALTTP NMG and quite quickly, 1:25:xx was just a question of time.
- I intended to improve my Low% PB down to 1:27:xx.
- I was also talking about running Majora's Mask Any% Glitchless and even began to learn it offline.

But I put all this in standby.

The reason ? My life just doesn't satisfy my anymore.

Until mid-June I was living with my girlfriend, who is Japanese. She was an exchange student in France, we met and fell in love quickly, then decided to live together because we just liked to spend time with each other. But she finished her year in May, and she had to come back in Japan in June. I will not give details, but the separation was one of the most heartbreaking things I had to endure in my entire life. Love is nice, but it can also be killing sometimes.

Also I have a nice job here in France : it pays well, it is not uninteresting, but I don't like my company that much. Another thing is, I spent several months in Japan in 2016, where I did an internship program. These months were maybe the moments I felt the happiest in my life (lot of "my life" in this post haha). When I came back to France, I realized I didn't want to live here anymore. I felt my place was there, in Japan. I just wanted to live there because I felt good, and I could just be myself, unlike when I'm in France. That's a complicated feeling and I don't really have words to express it, even in French ; that's mainly a feeling, after all.

Those reaons above are why I began to look for a job in Japan. I already applied to some companies and I don't intend to stop. This is quite time-consuming and I don't take so much time for anything else. In two weeks from now I'm going to Japan with the hope to go for job interviews. Maybe with some luck I can finally get a job there and begin a life in Japan.

That's mainly why I stopped my streaming activity since June. I want to do a lot of things. As I stated above, I want to improve my ALTTP PBs, to make a full French NMG tutorial, to learn more speedgames, to build a community around my stream, and many other things. But In real life always catches up with you and I need to deal with that first.

By 2019 I will certainly have quit my job to give it a go in Japan. Even if I don't find a job in August this year, I have another plan (more risky though) which will allow me to live in Japan for 6 months / 1 year. This way I will be in the country I want to be in, and finding a job will be easier since I will be on site, instead of being 10,000km far away.

Thanks for reading. This post was quite personal and the first of this kind (I usually don't like to express my feelings in public like that) but it's also important for me that people know why I am not streaming lately. I want to, but if I did so I would feel guilty not spending time searching a job. I hope you understand guys, and I will certainly come back soon :).
