  3. if combo ends in:
  4. moon = dodge cancel, decent hit count builder; ~5 hits
  5. thorn = dodge
  6. howling (dunk) = better to not dodge, amazing rush gain when at 150+ hit count
  7. the most important part of when to use howling is knowing how long between the boss' attacks since you will be animation locked the moment you jump
  8.  
  9. normal attacks:
  10. long range = 3 single shots
  11. short range = summersault + 1 shot
  12.  
  13. dont use short range its slow and will launch enemies
  14. only use short range if you're tanking and want to keep the boss in place
  15.  
  16. your attacks have slight homing properties but worse than a gun so its hard to hit moving enemies from far
  17.  
  18. everything is CA'd for max deeps
  19.  
  20. Long range (safe like condom/aggro magnet)
  21. normal > moon > thorn > moon*x > dodge
  22. bread and butter, its safer to tank with this combo since you can see shit coming
  23. might want to use this combo to help out teammates with slow rush gain
  24. note: better to use the thorn combo if the boss is really mobile since it takes a second for all the damage to come out on moon
  25. eg. boss is charging up a dash better to use thorn
  26.  
  27. Long range (thorn)
  28. normal > thorn > moon > thorn*x > dodge
  29. same as above but better on moving targets / obese enemies
  30.  
  31. Long range (hit count builder)
  32. normal > moon*infinity > dodge
  33. rack up the hit counter, good point to stop is when its 120+ hits
  34. don't bother doing this if your team can't maintain hit counter
  35.  
  36. Aggression (ranged + big dick combo)
  37. normal > thorn/moon > moon/thorn > dunk*2 > dodge backwards*
  38. normal > thorn/moon > moon/thorn > dunk > CA thorn/moon > dodge (if you didn't fire off your skill before the normal attack hits)
  39. best combo you should be using as much as possible depending on the size of your balls
  40. best rush gain and best damage but very risky, you cant dodge out of your dunk
  41. you can dodge out if you're charging forward but not in the dunk animation
  42. ending your combo with just the dunk will fill your ap slightly faster than dodging
  43. you can ca thorns/moon/dodge instead of a 2nd dunk if you need to move away from the boss
  44.  
  45. *the dodge backwards puts you 1 step away from long range if boss is standing still
  46.  
  47. Aggression (melee)
  48. thorn (CA mandatory for fast animation) > moon > thorn > dunk
  49. use this if you didnt dodge backwards or the boss moved towards you
  50. dont normal attack, just sit there until your ap fills up to do this combo, skip if you can put yourself in long range which is more ideal
