Miyabi, You've Got to Take Care of Yourself

"Miyabi, come on, you're hurt." Anon said as he tended to her wounds

"I-I'm fine! There's no need to worry!" Miyabi snapped back before wincing in pain.

"You are NOT fine." Anon growled back "Miyabi, look at you, those Yoma did a number on you, and you're lucky Imu was able to get you back here."

Miyabi couldn't argue. She'd gotten a bit too excited at the prospect of hunting down some Yoma and had gone a bit overboard. Enough that she'd fallen into an ambush and had to be bailed out by her team. The horrible gash on her thigh (among several other wounds) was still leaking blood and if her team had made a mad dash for Hebijo, she'd have likely bled out.

"Miyabi you've got to be more careful. Think about your health." Anon chided

"It's...okay, maybe I did get a bit to heated..." she said relenting as Anon continued attending to her wounds

"Good, if you're not gonna do it for yourself, do it for the baby at least?"

This caused Miyabi's face to turn a light shade of pink, it was only recently that she learned that all of the...escapades she and Anon had gotten up to had left her pregnant. She'd only found out a week or two or ago when she couldn't stop throwing up and had to miss out on training, but ever since the news had arrived, Anon had grown more concerned about her ninja activities. Mostly her attitude in regards to hunting down the Yoma.

"Y-yeah...sorry Anon." Miyabi said wincing again "I...I can't let her grow up without a mama like I did..."

"What makes you think that it's a girl?" Anon asked

"Just call it a woman's intuition. I just KNOW that's what it'll be."

Anon wanted to contest that claim, but she appeared to be at peace as she rubbed her tummy lightly, almost as if the unborn child could feel the love of its mother. It was a few more minutes before Anon finally finished patching Miyabi up as best as he could and lifted her up in his arms. It'd never stop surprising him how pleasantly light she was, the action causing Miyabi to let out a little 'eep' of surprise.

"P-put me down, I can walk!" Miyabi whined

"No you can't, your leg is way too banged up. You're going to bed and first thing in the morning we're taking you to a shinobi hospital." Anon said like a parent talking to a child

"But..." Miyabi started

"NO BUTS!" Anon roared back "And after you're all healed up, you aren't going on any missions for a while."

"What? N-no...that's not fair!"

"My wife putting her life on the line everyday isn't fair either, but hey, that's life." Anon retorted

The two would later fall asleep together cuddling tightly as they both dreamed about the baby that would soon be a part of her life.
