- Now, I know what you're thinking. "Zeddikus, these settings suck! Why would I ever enter a tournament with settings this bad?" Well, my friend, do I have good news for you! You don't have to play with these settings!... if your opponent agrees to change them.
- Yes, that's right. This tournament will enforce something called "the gentleman's rule". If you and your opponent wants to change certain settings, you can. You can change as many settings as you want! Or none at all, and suffer! So long as you report to whoever is monitoring your match what you and your opponent want to change, they will change the settings for you before generating your seed. This INCLUDES the win condition. Don't want to play 3 proof? You don't have to! Play ABN! Hate boss/enemy rando? Remove it! ***I literally couldn't care less so long as you and your opponent agree to it!*** Hell, you can play with a completely different tournament's settings if you want to.
- But the fun doesn't end there! You can cheat! YES, THAT'S RIGHT! WOOHOO! This INCLUDES looking at your opponent's stream, or looking at the spoiler log if you and your opponent did not gentleman to remove it. You can also gentleman to not cheat if you want to play fair for some reason!
- Now, let me guess what you're thinking next. "Man Zed, this is interesting and all... but what about the settings for the qualifier?" Well, my friend, the answer is simple. ***There is no qualifier.*** This is going to be an ********open bracket********. That means ****************all you have to do is sign up and show up****************. Oh, and seeding will be completely random by the way, so if you don't like who you're playing round 1, tough luck, bad things happen to good people.
- Now, one last thing. Certain settings don't allow the coexistence of both PC and emulator. But who cares! Play whatever version you want. If your enemies/synth recipes are different, so what? You can always gentleman to have them off. Or you can let chaos ensue and keep them on.
