When we first built the Nether hub I thought it was understood that the pre-dug tunnels would be seen as the MAIN hallways, but I've seen quite a few people take it as something randomly dug and used however they want. I'm running down the green hallway and suddenly, at the end, there is a HUGE ROOM with tons of stuff. My new portal branches from the green one and now I have to go through someone else's room just to get to it. I am all for people making their portals distinctive (I've fancied my own up as well), but those should be attached to the main hallway, not smack dab in the middle. If this is a community thing, then okay, but it still should have been off to the side.

Also, the tunnels all look so uneven now. Some are only 2-wide, when all tunnels were started at a width of 4. Some don't have flooring (I am going to start stocking the nether hub with half slabs, so please feel free to take and add some flooring!) Some have tracks on the side and take up a lane of the hall. Not to mention there are MANY portals without signs. If you have abandoned it, please just put a sign saying 'Free' or something. I will gladly tear them down and put the obsidian in a chest for others to use. (Mayoring like a BOSS.)

Just... I'm very OCD about our shared spaces and the Nether is really starting to frustrate me. :x Can't we all just... make it a prettier place? More organized? I will volunteer and put in flooring if people want, that's fine. I'm sorry if I come off sounding rude, I'm really not trying to get all RAWR. This is just something that bothers me and I want to fix it. I want our server to be the best ever. Organized and all that crap. :P

Oh and I am thinking of changing the hallway walls to something other than netherack. Suggestions? If you like it as is, that's fine too. I just thought it'd be nice to spruce the joint up.
