- Distinctive Characteristics: Roughly the same size as an Evangelion. Two extremely long upper limbs used for locomotion. Two lower tentacle-like limbs protruding from torso used as main means of attach. Tentacles could morph into imitation human weapons.
- 4th Angel
- Designation: Anpiel, Who Protects Birds
- Distinctive Characteristics: Resembled a giant worm with a huge mouth. three tentacles protruding from its head. Said Tentacles had progressive heads that could cut through an Eva's armor easily. Possessed a surprisingly powerful AT Field, as well as the ability to manipulate air pressure.
- 5th Angel
- Designation: Iaoel, The Choirmaster
- Distinctive Characteristics: Noodle Angel that could split into two autonomous parts. Possessed a very powerful AT Field. Was able to reshape itself into a legged orb with a cyclopian eye capable of firing very powerful energy blasts.
- 6th Angel
- Designation: Och, Who Rules the Sun
- Distinctive Characteristics: Initially appeared in orbit, launched bombardments from space. Eventually lowered itself to Earth' surface in Greenland; used an artificial storm as cover and attacked with proxy entities. Felled with a positron cannon and the power of friendship.
- 7th Angel

- Designation: Ambriel, Clarity in Thought and Communication
- Distinctive Characteristics: The nature of this angel is difficult to determine. It was first identified after having possessed and mutated an Evangelion Unit into a writhing hulk leaking LCL. However, its appearance was preceeded by an electronic warfare attack on the Montreal MAGI, which very nearly crippled the entire base. It had an AT field large enough to cover the city of Vancouver almost entirely, and appeared to be particularly good at scrambling remote sensors. Responsible for destroying Nerv-Vancouver, the surrounding city, and the nearby airbase. Brought down by Captain Husker's heroic sacrifice. No visible core.

- Distinctive Characteristics: A Heavily Armored flyer consisting of a thick outer shell with an inner core. Used tendrils as its main offensive weapons. Said outer shell turned out to be a detachable bomb, which was sent on a collision course for Nerv HQ while the Angel fought against Eva Unit 02.
- After the bomb was brought down by lucky hots static weapon systems, it transformed again into a ring orbiting a central core. In this form, it displayed the ability to capture projectiles in a gravitational field. It attempted to attack HQ directly with further explosive attacks. Was finally slain by Anna using the Crocea Mors.
