Triple Click 2021 Predictions

These are the 2021 Triple Click predictions (and games chosen) from the prediction episode. I did not double check further episodes for any corrections/alterations.

Remember to not message the hosts when one happens or is impossible, since part of *their* fun is forgetting about them and remembering what their predictions were at the start of the new year.

Maddy - Analogue: A Hate Story
1 - The average person will be able to get a PS5 before they can get a COVID vaccine
2 - E3 will not happen in 2021, not even online
3 - E3 will end for good
4 - We will learn that Zelda is not playable for Breath of the Wild 2
5 - We will go another year without an Elden Ring trailer
6 - Nintendo will not announce a Switch Pro
7 - Gamestop will be acquired and pivot to a different kind of business
8 - Hogwarts Legacy will include a gesture against J.K. Rowling's legacy, something about trans rights, basically
9 - The Game Awards GOTY winner will be a game one of us actually wanted to win
10 - We will learn that Bloodborne will be coming to PC

Kirk - Resident Evil 2 Remake
1 - Microsoft xCloud will be announced for the Switch
2 - Netflix will announce they're adding game streaming to their service, more than their current choose your own adventure movies
3 - The new Switch will be called the Switch 2
4 - A videogame playing animal will become a streaming sensation
5 - Videogames will play a role in at least one major political scandal
6 - Valve will announce a new non-VR Half-Life game, coming in 2022
7 - At least two major announced games will be cancelled
8 - Epic will lose its lawsuits against Apple and Google
9 - A noteworthy Republican will start streaming videogames
10 - A Vtuber will go rogue against the company that made them

Jason - Suikoden 2
1 - Sony will buy Bluepoint (They made the Demon's Souls remaster)
2 - Hogwarts Legacy will feature some sort of pro trans message from the developers
3 - The PS5 will not be available to buy (like, just walking into a store, or online) until November at the earliest
4 - Metal Gear Solid will come back in some new form
5 - Persona 6 will be announced
6 - Bungie will sell itself
7 - At least one Zenimax game will be announced not for Playstation
8 - At least two of this fall's AAA third party games will be next gen only
9 - Breath of the Wild 2 will come out this year, and it will allow you to play as Zelda for at part of the game
10 - E3 2021 will be entirely online, and at least three big publishers will not participate
