<nirv> The GM who freed that name up for me told me to save it quickly because it's open to anyone taking it

<Sapu> a regular name change wouldn't have caused any issue
<nirv> because "Mame" was saved on a second account with syncing enabled
<j311yf1sh> only way tsm wouldve seen said toon is if you logged into the toon created, which if just saving a name, has no reason ot be logged in
<nirv> which I assume most people don't do
<Sapu> as I said, what you did is extremely unlikely and not something worth supported
<nirv> Blizzard now allows people to free up names if they submit a ticket and the name hasn't been used in a long time, so I think more and more people are getting names they want through that method

<nirv> j311, well, there's a weird thing about characters. if you create a character but don't log in, you can't mail them anything as far as I know
<nirv> they have to actually log in at least once
