  1. At the very end of the current canon timeline, Mika had begun to take his first tentative steps towards being a person and not a doll, to be able to live (temporarily) on his own. And then hell happened to him: how does someone with such a fragile sense of personhood even maintain it under so much torture?

  3. The answer: Mika did not, especially since the physical changes he was left with as a result of his time in hell only further reinforced the idea that he was, in fact, a doll. His right arm and hand (and shoulder), and right leg are finely-jointed porcelain, doll’s limbs, and his amber right eye has been replaced with an identical-looking glass doll’s eye (which he is blind in, now). If he is being still and not moving, the porcelain at first or second glance looks almost realistic.
