  7. [9:25 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: And thus, the two would-be Christmas-savers: It's approximately two weeks before Christmas. And you are in a mall, around ... Seattle. For whatever reason that you may have there.
  8. [9:25 PM] Mizuki: she wasn't afraid of my EXPLOSIONS either, so we quickly became friends

  10. [9:26 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The more important thing is, there's a Christmas tree, and a booth filled with gifts and a man dressed in red and bearing white beard, sitting on a chair, with a line of children.

  12. [9:27 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Realta and Aren: Under behest of the Call of Christmas, the Santa has requested an audience with you, and asks you to find and report to the nearest Mall Santa.

  14. [9:28 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The Call of Christmas is a mythical ability of the Santa Claus, accompanied with a jingle, similar to that of a ringtong and a phone call you can't refuse.
  15. [9:28 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: It's an one-way message, asking those who may or may not be Good Kids a favor from the Bearded Man himself.
  16. [9:28 PM] Faerie: (I'd imagine it sounds like those bells and whistles from the songs)
  17. [9:29 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: You are in the Northgate Mall, located near Capital Hill.

  19. [9:29 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Unlike our Seattle, the Seattle of Earth-Midgaard named the mall Northgate Mall due to the infamous invasion of the Orc at one point; they have since ceased aggression.

  21. [9:30 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The lineup seems to be taking a while... The Mall Santa is busy.

  23. [9:30 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Here, the spotlight shines on @Faerie Realta.

  26. [9:32 PM] Faerie: ''Let's see, let's see...''' Realta mutters. ''That's one big Christmas tree, over there'', she offhandedly comments to Aren to her side while pointing at the Symbol of Christmas. She liked Christmas trees; they were a good and very pretty thing, and the bigger the better.
  27. [9:34 PM] Faerie: ''Did I ever tell you why trees h- I did, didn't I? Ah, ah, sorry.'' She excuses herself, and takes a moment to... eye their surroundings. Was there anything they should be aware of, besides their man in red at the end of the line?
  28. [9:34 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: (As part of the game flow, when asked, you are allowed to have things happen. If you take too long, or effectively nothing happen, however, as the Overlord, I may or may not use a few Cuts to get the game flowing)

  32. [9:35 PM] Mizuki: "Ah, yeah, that's true" - Said Aren with a smile. He wasn't very interested, but it was nice to have someone to talk to. Most people don't even try talking to him, thanks to his messy look and his obcession with explosions
  33. [9:36 PM] Faerie: Still in line, Realta peeked throw one of the nearby windows, into some sort of hardware store. It seemed like they sold video game consoles, there. It was too bad she was in line for business reasons, as it were, because she already had an idea on what kind of gift she'd like that particular year.
  34. [9:37 PM] Mizuki: "Also, any idea why Santa contacted us?" - Asked him - "I didn't even know a santa existed, I thought they were all just some fat dudes wearing red clothes. Nothing magical like that."(edited)

  84. [9:47 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Yeah, that wasn't going to work." The man shrug, as the rest falls into a Kung-Fu stance, each giving the shout and whines of what those evil overlord's grunt often says in the background as sentai heroes kicks their collective asses.

  90. [9:50 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Frostbite hisses and grows. Do lizards make that sort of voice?

  96. Masked: When this stat is damaged, the Robber will be busy covering their face and fleeing as to avoid social media pressure.
  97. Kung-Fu Masters: The Robbers are extremely capable in hand-to-hand combat.
  98. Group: This enemy can act against two people at once. When this enemy is destroyed, this stat is damaged, or this is their only stat left, replace the Group with two normal enemies.(edited)

  104. [9:54 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: It seems that as Kung-Fu Masters, merely going up to them isn't going to work that well. "Whoa, easy there, girl- boy- Thing!" The grunt says, brushing the lizard aside.

  195. Realta, hands still raised, tries getting the officers' attention and Talk Sense to them.

  198. [10:12 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: (Likely, you are using Talk Sense to ask the securities to stand down and "this is all just an accidental mistakes of oopsies", yes - but how are you doing that? And, after describing, roll the appropriate stats)

[10:13 PM] Faerie: ''Well, you see, what happened is that those thugs came in with legwear for masks, and...'' she tried to make the next parts sound as dramatic and nerve-destroying as possible. ''- he had a gun, officer! He wanted to hurt the man working as Mr. Claus, and the children near him!''

  209. [10:15 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "... You are still going to have to fill out a form. No worries, we won't charge you anything." One of them says, giving Aren a form to fill out.

  211. [10:15 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: It basically details "I have accidentally caused damage via magic", which lets them use it to requisite funding for repair - commonplace practice.
  212. [10:15 PM] Faerie: Not those arms, she thought to herself. She had no license to carry guns!
  213. [10:16 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: "Yes, yes, of course." The security smiles.

  215. [10:16 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: They are less scary than wizards, evidently.

The security smiles and helps you fill out the form, if needed. "We get the money from the government as provisional funding, as part of the Arcana Initiative agreement from spellcasters."

  223. [10:19 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: Local spellcasters over a certain age pays an additional tax, and spellcaster organizations also pay a fund annually to fund this funding, by the way.

  229. [10:20 PM] KogasaGaSagasa: The children have mostly calmed down, but that little light show and the slight scent of ozone and peppermint lingers in the air still.
