How did any of that work as well as it did? I had been waffling back and forth over participating in this Kirby's Avalanche tournament, not certain if I could give a good show playing the game as well as running the show. Honestly, I underestimated how much of an additional strain recording my gameplay stream alongside the tournament broadcast would be on my PC. I am surprised that the race videos were not a complete slideshow. I am surprised that I was able to play as well as I did. I thought I had a chance to win, but S1x made sure that I needed my A+ game to win. It wasn't there that day. GGs. I need to finish editing the VOD tonight.

Now, we look forward to the Pokémon Puzzle League tournament. I will admit: once this tournament starts, I am expecting to have to go into the tank to accomplish all of my below goals. I am not making the progress into video editing that I was hoping to make. In terms of streaming, editing, advertising, or sleeping, I feel like I only have time during the week to do two of those things. There's a physiological problem at play in that, I'm sure. At some point, I will need to sacrifice the streaming to get anything done. On one hand, I hate not streaming for you guys. On the other hand, it's clear to me that I'm not giving you the best stream that I possibly could. I appreciate everyone that is tuning in to watch. How am I getting anyone to watch what I'm making now? One day, I will fix everything up if only for my own satisfaction of bringing you a quality entertainment product. I will need some time off soon in order to do that, however.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #3: update the LPS Pokémon Puzzle League broadcast layout to be better automated like the Tetris Attack layout. In my head, this shouldn't take too long, but if the crawl of the Kirby's Avalanche layout was any indication, it could very well take a whole month, not leaving me much time to do anything else.
Goal #4: edit my first batch of Kirby's Avalanche runs. And my Falsebound Kingdom runs. And my Mario Golf run. And my second batch of Kirby's Avalanche runs. I'mma need a minute for this. I may need to move the priority up to get it done sooner.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. I will still want to take time during the week to do all of that instead of stream when I decide to get serious about it. Whether I will be able to get around to it anytime soon remains to be seen.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon, but I might need to dedicate time to it to ever get it done.
Goal #7: maybe make a universal LPS broadcast layout. I have a base, but perhaps I should stylize one for the LPS brand. Hopefully I wouldn't over-homogenize it like SpeedGaming did.
Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.

Tuesday – Tue-Gi-Oh! (Yu-Gi-Oh! game speedruns) – The average, intended way to play Yugi's Challenge Mode in The Falsebound Kingdom
Wednesday – Wild Cards Wednesday (whatever speedruns I feel like) – When in doubt, PPL it out
Thursday – Opening Round (golf game speedruns) – Speed Golf runs for real this time
Friday – Friday Night Salt Mines (community speedrun races) – PPL tournament training?
