I’m a 19-year-old from Nagasaki Prefecture. My name is Ikeda Kaede, AKA Kae-nyan, and I’m a 9th generation Kenkyuusei!

I practiced on my own on October 18th and 19th. I was practicing for the Team E show! Yucchi taught me some of the routines, so I am very grateful (; ;) Thank you, Yucchi!!

Thank you for the AKB handshake event on October 20th! It was a Halloween card signing event! Since it was an arena in Aichi, even more people came, and that was very heartening! I will look forward to seeing you all again!

This day, I wore a flowy one-piece dress with cat ears! It even came with a tail! I would like to cosplay as a maid or nurse one day too!

On October 21st, I performed as an understudy in the “Saishuu Bell Ga Naru” show. I made sure to not make any mistakes, of course, but I also put effort into my facial expressions. But I still have a ways to go. Every time I look at the footage of my camera angle, I find that my moves are weird, or I’ve made a mistake.

I am performing Minarun-san’s position in the K2 shows. When it was my first time performing this position as an understudy, I was stressed out because I couldn’t move the way I wanted to.  But later on, Minarun-san listened to what I had to say, and that really saved me and made me want to work harder.

I will watch more of Minarun-san’s footages and learn more from her, so that I can do as powerful of a performance as hers!

On October 22nd, I had the privilege of performing in the second “Te Wo Tsunaginagara” show. This day, I tried my best to make eye contact with my fans and bring a smile to their faces!!

As I watched the footage, I wrote down points that I wanted to work on in a notebook. I will work hard so that I can improve before the next performance!

On October 23rd, I performed in Team E’s “SKE Festival” for the first time! When they said they wanted me to perform at this show, there wasn’t much time left. They said it was already decided, so they wanted me to do my best. So, I prepared for it to the best of my ability.

I was really unsure about it, but my seniors encouraged me, Ami-san and Negai-san practiced with me, and my seniors from Team E taught me some moves after the rehearsal on the day of. Because of that, I was able to perform. Thank you so much!

I was honestly really happy to be included in Honono-san’s birthday event. It was an amazing birthday! One day, I’d like to go eat ramen with her and talk about so many things! I have a hard time going up to my seniors and talking to them, but I’ll take some mandarin flavored gummies with me and talk to her next time (^ ^)

I was really really happy to get a “Ramen Honoka” ramen bowl! I didn’t expect there to be one for me too, so I was caught by surprise! I will treasure it!

It was so fun; it was like a dream!!

During the time period covered in this blog post, I had become emotionally unstable. I apologize for causing everyone to worry through my SHOROOM stream. I will make sure nothing like this happens again.

I was alarmed by the fact that completely wrong information was being circulated, and I feel horrible for possibly creating trouble for my seniors who are entirely unrelated to this issue.

Through this, I learned that so many people watch SHOWROOM, and everyone feels their own way about what they see there. Viewers will come to conclusions that I personally never even imagined, and they will make statements based on them. I also learned of the power that such statements have.

I will try to be more responsible for the statements I make.

The staff at the theater had given me advice so I could perform better, but since I had to memorize so many songs in a limited amount of time, I was overwhelmed and couldn’t take it as something positive. My thinking was very negative, and I ended up whining on my stream.

But my seniors, the staff, and my manager listened to me, and I am no longer anxious, so you don’t need to worry any more.

I will work hard from now on too.
