  1. "Why can't be just go to Hogsmeade?" A red haired woman said stubbornly
  2. "If you want to spend more time around students with too much time in their hands, you are free to go there on your own..."
  3. "Yeah, but it's right there, we could just walk there for a few drinks and spend a nice evening that way."
  4. "I reserved us a table at a very high class restaurant, with waiting times in months and you'd rather go drink swill at that beat down Inn?"
  5. "Hog's head doesn't serve swill... Well, they have drinks other than swill."
  6. Snape had enough, he stopped to think if the evening was going to be worth it.
  7. "Getting this reservation meant I had to call in a very important favour from the owner." He reasoned with the woman.
  8. "You're starting to remind me of Slughorn now, with his slug club... He never forgot to cash in any favours."
  9. "Trust me, I had no intention of ever asking for any repayment for helping the restaurant owner with his problem." Snape said and scowled
  10. "What did you even help the owner with?" Rakepick asked suddenly curious about what help the raven haired sourglum could offer to someone.
  11. "I brewed a potion for his sick daughter..." The potionmaster said dismissivelly.
  12. Of course, a potion, Rakepick thought to herself. But it seemed like a nice thing to do.
  13. "And you're really only doing this, because I wanted to go out with you?"
  14. "I am." Snape said, but his expression didn't soften at all.
  15. Rakepick sighed, maybe she was being a bit stubborn. Going out with Snape had been her idea after all. Actually she never expected things to progress this far.
  16. "Alright, let me go put on some nicer clothes... I doubt your fancy restaurant has a dresscode for practical clothes like mine."
  17. "I assure you, no matter what you're wearing, we sill stand out like a sore thumb... So you might aswell wear whatever feels comfortable to you." Snape said surprisnly self-aware.
  18. Rakepick tried to take it as a kindness, she really did, but all she heard was Snape doubting her ability to dress up ladylike... And that just wouldn't do.
  19. "OH! You don't think I can dress up nice and fancy?"
  20. "That is not..." Snape started but admitted defeat. "Very well, I'll meet you at the stables."
  21. "Do try to wear something nice too, Severus." Rakepick said and smiled a little at the annoyed professor.
  22.
  23.
  24. The unlikely pair met at the table and took a chariot so they could get far enough from the magical protections of the school to apparate.
  25. Snape had to admit to himself that Rakepick actually did have some nicer looking clothes, but even with a casual evening dress, the curse-breaker witch was determined to keep her holster.
  26. "black and more black." Rakepick said finally.
  27. "Hmm?"
  28. "You're wearing all black... Is everything you wear always black?" Rakepick asked. "Or do I have to find out later?"
  29. Snape ignored her last comment.
  30. "My tie is green."
  31. "That is the darkest green I have ever seen." Rakepick mocked Snape's choice of attire. But despite everything, he did look a bit more handsome than usual. If only he could relax a little.
  32. "Are you quite done?" Snape asked annoyed.
  33. "For now..." Rakepick said. "I hope this restaurant of yours is worth the hype..."
  34. "I do not tend to go out to eat at restaurants, so I have no way of telling you." Snape said uninterested. "
  35. "Truth be told, neither do I." Rakepick admitted. "Well, let's try to have a nice evening regardless."
  36. Rakepick rarely had an excuse to eat at fancy places. But then again, she neve really felt the appeal. Maybe going out on a date makes it more enjoyable.
  37. "We'll apparate the rest of the way from here." Snape said when the chariot pulled by thestrals came to a halt.
  38. "Alright." Rakepick said and had a mischievious idea. She grabbed Snape's arm with her hands, like a schoolgirl in heat.
  39. "The invitation has directions for apparition." Snape said dryly, but didn't push the woman aside.
  40. "Oh, but this is more fun." Rakepick said. "You need to relax a bit, I don't want you to act so sour during our date."
  41. "Very well... I shall try." Snape said dismissivelly and disapparated with his date.
  42.
  43.
  44. The restaurant was nice, the clientele was select, and no matter how fancily Rakepick or Snape could've dressed up it seemed like Snape was right. They stuck out and annoyingly to Snape. The restaurant owner had planned a special evening for him, the pair got the best table and priority service.
  45. "Wow, Severus, you really did the restaurant owned a huge favour then." Rakepick said a bit impressed. If a little awkward being put into such spotlight by the staff.
  46. "Yes, well... I would rather not talk about it right now." Snape said annoyed he hadn't specified to the restaurant owner he preferred a discreet table.
  47. "This place is nice, Half of this menu is stuff I can't even pronounce." Rakepick said reading the menu.
  48. "Well... Everything seems to be on the house, so order whatever you please." Snape said, trying not to draw any more attention to himself or his date.
  49. In spite of all the predictions Snape made for how the evening would go, the two were having somewhat nice time. Rakepick seemed to enjoy the food and admitted coming to the restaurant was a good idea.
  50. However, Snape found out after a few glasses of wine, that Rakepick was a featherweight, The woman's personality changed completely when she got a little tipsy. she was less abrasive and was a bit more open for her reasoning behind wanting to go out with Snape.
  51. It all made Snape extremely uncomfortable, he had decided to put an end to this after escorting the girl back to her accomodations in Hogwarts.
  52.
  53.
  54. "You really shouldn't try apparating in your current state..." Snape tried to reason with the drunk woman.
  55. "Oh, shod off... Just back then you didn't want... Didn't want to apparate with me all clinghy and now you want to do a... Lovers... Lover's leap... What?" The drunk woman said way too loudly.
  56. "Just take my hand before you splinch your head off..." Snape said.
  57. "I see... You want to take adv... You want to take advantage of me." Rakepick laughed. "Fine, you showed me a good time... I'll find out if all you wear is black..."
  58. Rakepick took Snape's hand and he disapparated back to the waiting chariot.
  59. The two were sitting in a bit of an awkward silence, it seems Rakepick's buzz was fading. But she was still in a good mood.
  60. "No, but... Really. I enjoyed our evening, Sev." She smiled at the potions professor
  61. "Please don't call me that..." Severus said and looked anguished.
  62. The woman missed his expression and just thought he was being shy.
  63. "Alright, later then... Maybe..." She said cheerfully, still clearly drunk from what little wine she drank.
  64. Snape had regretted going out with Rakepick, but somehow he thought it might have been a good idea for some reason... Seeing a certain student struggle has reminded him that maybe he should try to move on and Rakepick just happened to stumble into him at his most vulnerable.
  65.
  66.
  67. The chariot stopped at Hogwarts stables, it was past curfew, so Snape decided to escort Rakepick to her room, making sure she was okay. But first he would have to pick something up from his office.
  68. Rakepick seemed to notice where they were walking to.
  69. "OH, in your office? Is that where... Is that where you bring all the girls?" She giggled mischievously.
  70. "I do not bring companions to my office, we're only going to stop by to get a potion."
  71. Rakepick blushed at Snape's suggestion.
  72. "Oh, my Professor... I didn't expect you to... Well, I am not against it..." She blushed.
  73. Snape seemed to miss the que on this and ignored what Rakepick thought Snape had insinuated.
  74. When the two got to Snape's office, Rakepick immediately locked the door behind her, just to be safe, she had started undressing her impractical eveningwear. Cursing a bit.
  75. "I should have taken your advice and worn my tunic, this bodice is... Oh... I'll just reparo it." Rakepick said and tore the strings holding her eveningwear together off.
  76. Snape had went for a potion for her and walked into her completely topless.
  77. "What do you think you are doing?" He asked with an expression that was rarely if ever seen on his face.
  78. "Just give me the potion and we'll do it on the table." Rakepick said in lustful anticipation. "I've waited for something like this for a.. for a long time." she slurred.
  79. The woman went ahead and snatched the potion from Snape's hand and downed it, before throwing the empty vial behind her and went on to undress the stunned professor.
  80. Snape tried to push the woman off him, but it was actually not as easy as it seemed. The woman was determined and years of vault hunting had made her stronger than she seems.
  81. Snape was completely out of his element here, he tried to reason with the woman telling her that she's drunk and that this kind of behaviour was completely unprofessional. But the woman didn't listen.
  82. She had managed to pull off Snape's tie and coat, and took off his shirt.
  83. "Oh, my... You are..." She purred. "How do you fit in your robes, and how did you get that buff?"
  84. Snape was embarrassed and tried to regain his composure.
  85. "Patricia... Please, you will regret this later... I can't, not while you're drunk."
  86. Rakepick just laughed.
  87. "HA! I am not that drunk... I am just... I have needs alright?" She admitted straight away.
  88. "Why me?" Snape asked suddenly.
  89. "I don't know what it is about opposites..." Rakepick said. "Also I am pretty sure you're a virgin."
  90. Snape went red at that point, perhaps for the first time in his life since school.
  91. "How dare you..." He started, but the Rakepick just laughed.
  92. "Pathetic isn't it?" She said sadly. "I guessed right, did I not?"
  93. "Get off me." Snape said, but the woman didn't budge, she had pinned Snape sitting on his table and was now intent on finding out if the professor really wore all black.
  94. Rakepick stopped for a moment before pulling down Snape's pants.
  95. "I am too..." She admitted.
  96. "What?" Snape asked surprised, having lost the control of the situation completely.
  97. "A virgin... At our age... I guess I just never did anything but travel and break curses..." She said forlorn. "I guess you have an excuse too..."
  98. "I don't get out much." Snape admitted. "Also I am not interested."
  99. Rakepick giggled and poked Snape's crotch.
  100. "I think this proves you're interested enough. Let's see what colour panties the sourglum professor Scowlerus Snape wears." She stopped to giggle some more.
  101. "Besides, why would you have given me that potion if you didn't expect us to end up... You know..." Rakepick asked.
  102. "It was for hangover." Snape said.
  103. "...What?" Rakepick asked.
  104. "The potion was for hangover, not a contraceptive." Snape explained.
  105. "O-oh..." Rakepick said disappointed. "D-did I read the..."
  106. Rakepick got off Snape.
  107. "Patricia..." Snape started.
  108. "I am such an idiot..." Rakepick said sadly.
  109. "It's... Fine... I will not mention this to anyone." Snape tried to sound reassuring, but came off as cold.
  110. "Then... If it... Could we, atleast?" Rakepick tried to put her emotions into words.
  111. "This really isn't for me." Snape said. "I shouldn't have agreed to..."
  112. "Damn it, Snape, I can sense you have something to give... You're not a loveless zombie." Rakepick snapped. "If you really didn't care about anything, why the hell did you take that stupid bet?"
  113. Snape was silent.
  114. "Was it really for *hiccup* S... smackeroos? I don't think so..."
  115. Rakepick looked at Snape. "You can live through your own life, and not manipulate students..."
  116. Snape looked down on the floor and contemplated on Rakepick's words.
  117. "Or is it just that you hate me?" Rakepick asked.
  118. "No..." Snape admitted.
  119. "I read the mood completely wrong, I'm sorry." Rakepick said. "I hope I didn't inconvenience you."
  120. "You didn't..." Snape said coldly.
  121. "I suppose you don't... Want me talking about how you really have a heart then?"
  122. "I think it's better for the both of us, if word didn't get out of this." Snape said and picked up Rakepick's torn bodice and cast reparo on it.
  123. "Alright... I wont, but under one condition..." Rakepick said finally.
  124. "And what would that be?" Snape said and helped the bodice back on Rakepick.
  125. "We go on another date... And maybe... Just maybe, we can both let our insecurities go. Me while I'm still sober and you... Well..." She said smiling, albeit a bit sadly.
  126. Snape pondered it for a bit.
  127. "...Alright, one more date." He said finally.
  128. "In that case, I wish you a good night, thank you for the wonderful evening... And sorry for ruining the end." Rakepick said.
  129. "Yeah..." Snape said and finally regained his composure. "Good night, Rakepick"
  130. "Oh, just call me Patricia." Rakepick said and kissed Snape's cheek.
  131. She then walked out of Snape's office, leaving Snape to sit down on his chair and contemplate.
