Franz -

You've always felt like Franz watched too much Tim Burton as a kid. He was average height, slim build. He so frequently wore skinny jeans that you sometimes wanted to remind him that you guys weren't in Middle School anymore. He had a penchant for painting his nails black, and from time to time, would put on some eye-liner. A bold statement for a teenage boy to make in a small, rural-ish town.

He has a round face that is not unattractive, a slight hook to his nose, you think maybe it was broken in the past, but he never talked about it. He also has a small scar on his cheek where a dog bit him as a child.

Franz has light green eyes that you used to think were cute, dark hair, long on one side, shaved on the other. Most recently, he'd bleached the tips and dyed them green which had faded to match his eyes. When you two dated, he kept his hair cut short. In many ways, you two were a perfect couple, the two 'weird kids' in a small school. Sure, there were some others, but they were never quite the same. People like Sam didn't seem to have the same dedication to strange as you and Franz.

Like you, he'd reinvented himself just before Freshmen year of high school from a meek, kind of dorky kid, into a smarmy, confrontational drama aficionado.


Sam -

Sam was that 'alternative' girl that all the weird dudes in school wanted to bang, and evidently some had. She wore her hair long, like, really long. She didn't ever dye it or anything, just kept it a natural, soft brown. Originally from Laser City, her parents moved to Roselake Freshmen year of high school. Rumor was some kind of trouble she got into, but she never talked about it.

You'd hung out with her a few times when you and Franz were friends, and then when you were dating. She'd been kind of stand offish with you, seemed almost shy, though she was super outgoing with most people, boys especially. You couldn't tell if she was a flirt, a slut, or just 'one of the guys'. She normally wore band T-shirts and was near constantly smiling. With shredded jeans and an old fatigue jacket that her long hair spilled over she ended up looking like some kind of hesher throwback or something.

She's a bit shorter than you, a bit bustier than you, and with a pointed chin and almond eyes, she's very striking. She's also sort of tomboyish in many ways. You're not sure you ever saw her in anything other than the most basic makeup. She, like Franz, worked behind the scenes in theatre though she has a stated interest in music, she also (by her own admission) has no talent.


Grace -

She's your sister, and in many ways a lot like you, your facial features are much the same. Grace has lighter hair than you, kept short and wavy. She's also just a little shorter than you. Grace used to dress in vivid colors and wild fashions when she was a teenager and when she was in college. She had been the bright, vivacious flower of your family. This changed when your parents died and she inherited the funeral parlor. Now it seemed she was always wearing a nice dress, during working hours, or lounge wear when "off the clock".It makes you sad when you think of how different Grace was before she 'grew up'. Her personality is pretty much unscathed though, her more rebellious side has been toned down and she's stepped into the role of a foster parent and provider with maturity.


Mark-

Mark's classically handsome, tall, square jaw, his hair is brown and kept short but not "too" short. He is constantly in need of a shave though, but it sort of works for him. You can go for that rough look on some guys. Not that you think Mark is cute or anything! No, Mark's a really outdoorsy type, likes working on his truck and pretty much wears jeans and T-shirts when he can get away with it. He seems to always have bags under his eyes though, probably from the insane hours he works as a paramedic.


Holly-

Blech. Holly. You know basically every guy in your school kinda wants to fuck her, but you don't really get it. She's tall, taller than you, with long legs and tanned skin, even in the dead of winter. You hear her mom drives her to a tanning salon in Lasker City. Have fun with your skin cancer, right? Her hair is invariable bleach blonde, usually long, though not as long as yours. Sometimes she tries out the style of the week, but normally keeps it pretty simple. Shapely body, sort of athletic, she has a pretty wide variety in what she wears, but normally it's pink. Very pink.

As much as Holly fits into the airhead blonde stereotype, it's sadly not complete. She's probably the best student in your class, straight As, perfect attendance. Teachers think she's a little angel, and she's occasionally involved in student government.
