Howdy - I'm not familiar with you and I don't know who "Justin Hess" aka "JustinWoolee" is *but this is a most fascinating and provocative story you have weaved*.


Since you *correctly anticipated* more than a year in advance that "Justin Hess" was a *real danger* to others - and given that authorities had been contacted on *multiple occasions* without a *preventative outcome* - "Justin Hess" effectively remained a *ticking time bomb* that resulted in the *senseless murder* of two *innocent* people. One being an enabler (how ironic) and the other being an innocent person who was in the wrong place at the wrong time (how tragic).


Listening to your presentation this sounded like a *preventable* tragedy. Would you recommend the community form some kind of "vigilante group" which would identify, monitor and then *covertly eliminate* these dangerous individuals *before they activate* and become an actual threat to the community?


Before you balk at the idea take a moment to think it through. Simply by being *observant* you had *correctly predicted* this! Furthermore - despite the authorities visiting "Justin Hess" (more than once) *they were of no help*. Innocent lives were lost (while the criminal lives on and remains a drain on society - how is that fair?) and the victims' families have no doubt been forever torn apart. There are *negative consequences* that many don't think about which go far beyond the deranged actions of that day.


So I wonder - why shouldn't an *intelligent vigilante group* form that bypasses the authorities (or at least waits until it's evident they will do nothing) and *pre-emptively take out these dangerous people*? At the very worst a "useless eater" would be removed from society whereas at best *more lives could be saved than lost*. It's a win-win i.e., the life of one deranged lunatic instead of two innocent lives - that sounds like an excellent deal.


I am reminded of the following (false) quote by Edmund Burke: _"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil *is for good men to do nothing*"_.


And so perhaps I am misreading the underlying message of your video but aren't you suggesting (albeit tacitly) that *"we as an observant, intelligent and sane community can recognise genuine threats sooner and better than law enforcement and if we really care then a few good men need to intervene and get their hands dirty for the greater good"*?


At the end of your video you mentioned *"Chad Lilly"* and described him as a *"mirror image"* of the lunatic "Justin Woolee". Do you think something "preventative" (if you catch my drift) needs to be done about "Chad Lilly" before he goes on to do something equally crazy (if not worse)? *Or do you think "Chad Lilly" - a person you say is "just like Justin Hess" - can be expected to reflect on this tragedy and modify his behaviour so as to not repeat history*?


If we know about these deranged lunatics *but do nothing* (i.e., we just "hope and pray" that they will "do the right thing and change or get help" before they snap) *then how are we not (at least partially) complicit in their crimes when they do snap*? Who wants *that* on their conscience?

What are your thoughts on these things and how do you feel knowing that you clearly saw this coming (you *predicted* this) but through inaction were unable to avert it? How would you feel if nothing preventative is done and "Chad Lilly" goes on to become the next "Justin Hess"? _(Edited for paragraph spacing)_
