My name is Nek Datedletters. I'm an elephant man. I'm a demigod too. I'm a hearthperson for the hamlet of Datesprings, and I live in a tavern called The Saffron of Cleansing. I am a grand master hammerman, and I never go anywhere without my trusty silver war hammer. I have superior strength, agility, and social awareness.

One day I was bored, so I went around the back of the tavern where all the weapons and cool gear were stored. There were pikemen, swordsmen, axemen, bowmen, crossbowmen, macemen, and spearmen all mulling around aimlessly. I went up to each of them and said "Come, join me on my adventures!" Without exception, they all said "I will join you if you lead me on to glory and death."

I had assembled an army of eleven followers, when I decided to walk up to the lord for a mission. He said, "You must slay the night troll Fen Pencleaves. He has killed nine in his quest for murder! His lair is in The Hill of Scarves."

It was about a day's travel north, but I had to walk around in the woods for quite a while before I saw an elusive hatch cover just below a ledge. After that it was quite simple to get it open. I cautiously walked around near the entrance of the lair until all my men were in, and then I advanced into the lair. Then I saw the night troll in the corner admiring his treasure. It opened its eyes, and began to charge at us! I took out my war hammer and smashed it, bruising the bone. Then I drew him into my band of followers, and together we jumped on him and made short work of him. For good measure, I stood over his corpse, took one of the arrows from the crossbowman, and got some delicious night troll meat.

Then I walked back to the hamlet at night. I got a bit thirsty, so I came up to the river and took a drink of water. Then I walked back to the tavern. The lord was asleep! How frustrating! There was nothing to do but wait a few hours for the lord to awake stunned. I said to him "I am your loyal servant. Fen Pencleaves the night troll has been slain." And he said "Fantastic!" but didn't give me any rewards.
