  4. Belarus/Western Border:

  6. On April 27th, RU attacked 4 powerplants in Lviv, Invano-Frankivsk, and Dnipro regions.

  8. Belarus classified German media DW Belarus as "extremist" as they continue to clamp down on free press.

  10. Reportedly the UA border service has up to 10 cases of people forging documents to cross the border a day, chiefly men of mobilization age. A pay-for-marriage scheme was uncovered in ternopil, costing some $3500 USD for marrying a disabled woman and recieving a travel authorization.

  12. An investigation has concluded that RU atomic industry personnel looted or destroyed some $25 million USD worth of equipment at the Chernobyl NPP site.

  14. Poland's ministry of internal affairs stated that they will continue to protect the private data of UA refugees, following the PL MoD stating that they may not extend refugee rights to UA conscripted men. Currently refugee status is extended until July 1st of this year.

  16. Polish PM Donald Tusk stated that during the overnight attack, missiles landed within 15km of the PL border, and criticized his predecessor for consorting with far right politicians in Hungary.

  19. Kyiv/Central Ukraine:

  21. On the 27th, 21/34 missiles were intercepted. Notably an RU submarine launched its combat load during this attack, following a reduction in naval launches prior. There has been speculation that with reduction in air-launched cruise missile stocks that RU will return to naval launches. Of further note was the complete lack of Shahed usage.

  23. Two hospitals in Kyiv were evacuated of patients due to RU propaganda networks claiming they were valid targets.

UA continues to operate the "Medevac" program for anyone injured in UA who requires medical treatment abroad, and clarified that so long as the UA attending physician believes it is neccesary and completes the documentation, there are no constraints on the program which is designed to alleviate load on the UA medical system.

  27. UA reported that $3.2 million has been spent on tech development, including 300 UAVs, 200 ground drones, 100 EW systems, and 1000 more over various levels of development.

  40. Power outages continue in Kharkiv oblast, where some 202,000 customers were limited today.

  42. RU hit the Balaklia metro station with a ballistic missile, damaging the scheduled train between Kharkiv and Izyum and wounding 11 people. The tracks have since been repaired and service resumed.

  44. RU bombed a psychiatric hospital in NE Kharkiv city with S-300, injuring a patient. 60 patients and 5 staff were present.

  53. RU is reportedly strengthening its forces in the SE Kharkiv region towards Berestove.

  55. Ru launched 6 assaults towards the E highway near Kupyansk, advancing near the village of Kyslivka and further contesting Tabaivka following heavy strikes.

  57. RU laynched 18 attacks around Kreminna, but there is no indication of forward movement towards Terny or the Serebryansk forest area.

  60. Kramatorsk/Bakhmut:

  62. RU continues efforts to press on Chasiv Yar, as RU counterattacks S of Ivanivske continue.

  64. It does not appear that RU forces have been able to succesfully take the E exurb of Kanal, given the prevalence of RU airstrikes here. RU troops have advanced to the NE of the suburb in the forested region.

  66. UA forces in Klishiivka appear to have interdicted an RU assault with drones.

  69. Avdiivka/Pokrovsk:

  71. RU reportedly has committed some 4 brigades to the W of avdiivka in the ongoing assaults.

  73. This is the largest site of RU activity, with 55 assaults over the last day. RU forces have pushed through Ocheretyne and Novobakhutivka as they seek to expand their positions NW of Avdiivka along the highway.

  75. RU forces continue to push out of Pervomaiske, cementing their gain on the NW outskirt of the town.

  77. A 98 year old woman walked her way out of recently occupied Ocherytne back to UA lines.

  79. UA Abrams tanks were removed from frontline service due to need for changing tactics following 5 were lost. RU recovered one of the tanks.

  82. Donetsk city/Occupied regions:

  84. RU has further secured control around Novomykhailivka, as they try to push W towards Paraskoviivka.

  86. RU declared that 100/114 of the coal mines located in Luhansk are unprofitable and due to be shut down. This is primarily due to massive mobilization of their staff, with over 60% taken from their workplaces. Additionally, it has been noted that mining equipment is sent to RU industries instead.

  88. RU reportedly wants to institute a mandatory UAV operation course for schools in the occupied territories, likely to be taught by RU soldiers. This is almost certainly to set up a mobilization pipeline straight out of school to the RU military.

  93. Zaporizhia/Southern Axis:

  95. RU launched 4 assaults towards Staromaiorske.

  104. On April 28 RU attacked Mykolaiv with Shaheds, targeting 2 hotels frequented by aid workers and journalists.

  108. 130/151 educational institutions in Kherson city have been damaged by RU strikes since its liberation in 2022.

  113. 2 RU subs capable of carryibg 8 kalibr missiles apiece are deployed in the black sea. One fired its barrage on the 27th.

  115. RU fired a ballistic missile into the "Harry Potter Castle" of Odesa, killing 5 people and wounding 32.

  117. RU reportedly has a major shortage of paramedics in Crimea, with about 30% shortfall.
