Application draft 12/6/16

Why are you applying for this position?

Putting it into one sentence, I'd like to be of help and support the step-by-step process of improving the community's state and attitude, with mutual understanding rather than an iron fist. I've got a couple of ideas to make this site pleasant for people of all kinds. Admittedly there's also things I indeed have zero tolerance for and I can also be indignant about, e.g. trolling and downright oppressive actions, but I'm also in favour of speaking with people and being transparent towards the userbase and letting them have their opinion.

What does SMBX mean to you?

Just like SM63 and Last Legacy, SMBX is also a game that means more to me emotionally than just "being a game". It's a lovely expression of art, it's an evolution which is far from being finished. I really admire the long untiring work that some people have put into their masterpieces. Whenever I'm not busy with playing episodes, I may also find motivation to do works of my own.

Describe any qualifications that make you fit for the position.

I'm engaged, I'm firm at meeting decisions and untiring at discussions. I'm courageous and authentic. I'm surely not a master of wording but my expression is usually concise and to the point where it needs to be. I've had a humanistic education and I've also read various sources about basic virtues, social interaction and human fallacies. I've also read about the do's and dont's and ideals of good moderation - don't be ruled by personal feelings, treat everyone on an equal basis and avoid power plays, be a man for the people, keep sparking vivacity for the community. I'm reliably and consistently active; even if college schedule may get into my way at times but I'm still ensuring that I can stay up-to-date.
