  1. >"Anoooooon."
  2. >That familiar voice barely pierced your headphones as you clicked and clacked away at your game. Pausing it and swiveling in your chair, you took notice of the small woman in pajamas on the ground.
  3. "Nats? How long have you been laying there?" You asked, getting up and moving over to her.
  4. >"Like five minutes."
  5. "Uh huh." You sat on the floor next to her, before laying back and looking up at the ceiling. "Why's that?"
  6. >"I'm bored." She sat up a bit and scooted closer, resting her head on your chest.
  7. >Nodding as you wrapped your arm around her, you thought to how this pandemic had pretty much halted all normal plans you two had had.
  8. >The beaches were all closed, your jobs had told you both to stay home until quarantine was relaxed, and the literature club had agreed to not meet in person for a while.
  9. "What about a game? Weren't you working on our town in Animal Woods?"
  10. >"Yeah, but I finished. Check it out." She pulled the Pretendo Pitch from her side and booted it on, handing it to you.
  11. >Looking over the map, you saw an immaculately planned out layout, with aesthetically pleasing paths and rivers.
  12. "Woah. How long did this take you?"
  13. >"Ehhh.... six hours?"
  14. "Six... didn't you start this morning?"
  15. >"Yep. Turned on some baking videos and just cranked it out."
  16. "What about another game?"
  17. >"Nothing really sounds good right now, y'know?"
  18. "Yeah, I feel ya. Speaking of which, that's something we could do..." Your arm moved down her body.
  19. >"Pfft, maybe later, you dorkass nerd." She playfully swatted your hand away.
  20. "Damn." You chuckled, putting it back comfortably around her stomach. "Well, got anything in mind?"
  21. >"I dunno. I'm kinda hungry, I guess."
  22. >Breakfast was a while ago, you thought, and a lunch date did sound fun.
  23. "Wanna order a pizza and watch a movie or anime or something?"
  24. >"Yeah, that sounds pretty good." She nodded on your chest.
  25. "Alright, let me up so I can get my phone." You said, shifting.
  26. >"Mmm, a few more minutes." She resisted, pinning you down.
  27. "Well, alright." It was pretty comfy.
  28.
  29. >You donned your mask, looking to the car in your driveway through the screen door.
  30. >The 'Dokinos' sign illuminated the top of it as the driver stepped out, donned in a full hazmat suit and brandishing three boxes.
  31. >He closed his door and brought the boxes to your doorstep, giving you a wave as he sat them down and began the return to his chariot.
  32. "Thanks!" You hollered to him as you opened the door and picked up your prize. He gave a thumbs up as he entered the vehicle and headed out.
  33. >Surprised at how prepared the pizza shop was, you thought for a moment about just taking the bounty to your lover. However, safety was very important, and the oven was already heated.
  34. >A little extra heat wouldn't hurt the flavor, but it could hurt the potential germs.
  35. >Discarding the boxes and putting the goodies onto a few trays, you threw the pizza, breadsticks, and dessert cakes into the oven while you washed up.
  36. >A few minutes later, and you retrieved the now super toasty foods from their heated prison, setting their trays onto the counter top. Once the feast was properly displayed, you hollered for Natsuki to come get her share as you got the plates down from the cabinet.
  37. >Taking a decent amount for now, you followed Natsuki back to the living room, and marveled at her work.
  38. >A pallet made of blankets! Couch cushions set up against the front of the couch to make a makeshift seat on the ground! Extra pillows for comfort!
  39. >She even lit a couple of candles, and turned on that comedy anime you told her you were interested in!
  40. >Your heart was warmed by the thought as you both sat down on the pallet and got comfy together.
  41. >If you two can still do things like this, this quarantine will be no problem. Digging in, you two quickly defeated your delicious enemies, and settled together on the pallet, watching and laughing until you drifted off together.
