Fortress. The final frontier. Quite literally at that. In the world of Ephon, the city of Fortress is the last well known bastion of truly human civilization. While welcoming of other species, certainly, it is primarily a human city. The lands outside are dangerous, and filled with mystery, with only rumor of their nature having reached the city.

But all that, is about to change. An ancient ritual is to be held at the city of Fortress, one that will determine the fate of the world. Long ago, a great power was bestowed on a single individual, who was chosen among  many able ones to inherit it, and decide the fate of the world. While the exact nature of this power has been lost, it's role through history is well known. And now, the revival of the ritual has taken the city by storm.

A team of representatives is to be elected...
