  1. Q: Why did you reset?
  2. A: I can no longer get the time I want.
  3.
  4. Q:What is the time you want?
  5. A: At least 1:51, regardless of my sanity
  6.
  7. Q:Why are you saving and quitting?
  8. A: With the introduction of RTA timing, we manipulate no encounters among other things to improve the runs consistency.
  9.
  10. Q: Why is your screen blurry?
  11. A: Why do you care about the quality of your gen 1 pokemon games, they're 20 years old.
  12.
  13. Q: Why are you shouting 256 or 1/39 and throwing your laptop out the window?
  14. A: ...
  15.
  16. Q: What is igt0?
  17. A: Simply the term when we hit a bad frame when saving, the game runs at 60 fps and not every frame for each second gives us the result we want out of the rng manipulations.
  18.
  19. Q:Why are you doing a different strategy from last run?
  20. A:Sometimes I will go for Horn Attack strats if perfect route 3 red bar, but most of the time I will be forcing the lass mega punch route for consistency.
  21.
  22. Q: Why is your Red time bad?
  23. A: Because 4 turn girl. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/104924115
  24.
  25. Q: What are your Nido stats?
  26. A: 13 hp 15 atk 15 def 14 spd 15 spc
  27.
  28. Q: Why do you hit everything after x acc?
  29. A: In gen 1 using x acc skips the accuracy check, this allows us to make use of horn drill throughout the run
  30.
  31. Q: You keep saying badge boosts, what does that mean?
  32. A: We make use of x items throughout the run to give us 10% boosts to our other stats (other than hp) when we use an x item, these boosts leave when we level. Badge boosts also happen when stat changing moves are applied to us, i.e. caterpie string shot gives me an attack badge boost from Brock's badge on route 3.
  33.
  34. Q: If I wanted to start learning Red what guide should I use?
  35. A: https://pastebin.com/bzaTn2UK My guide is the most up to date comprehensive guide, some high level strategies are not mentioned here as this is meant for beginners/intermediate runners in nature. I use other strategies and you are free to ask about them.
