- Can’t help but wait Chapter 3
- >You’re drawn out of your slumber by the rumble in your stomach and the amazing smell of food nearby.
- >Opening your eyes slowly, you look for Twilight on top of you to find out she isn’t there anymore.
- >You sit up slowly and look around the bright room for any signs of her.
- >Nothing.
- >You get to your feet, your brain finally starting to put two and two together in its groggy state.
- >She must be in the kitchen cooking something good if the smell is any indication.
- >That, and the fact that almost every time you eat over you can’t stop talking about how her food makes your mouth orgasm.
- >You slowly trek to the kitchen, the sight of Twilight focused intently on the pans on the stove, her magic incasing them with a light purple hue.
- “Smells good, what’cha cooking?” you ask her in a chirpy tone.
- >She turns her head to look back at you, giving you some of her attention.
- >”Oh, you’re up. Just cooking some breakfast.”
- >She turns her attention back to the food on the stove.
- “Can I get some? It smells amazing.”
- >”Sure, I always make a little extra incase Spike is really hungry anyways,” she replies while pushing a spatula around in one of the pans.
- >Noticing that the usual morning paper is missing from the table, you head back towards the front of the house.
- “I’ll grab the paper for you since you’re a little preoccupied,” you call behind you.
- >On your way back to the kitchen with the paper, you take a look at the clock and see it’s already well into the afternoon.
- >Oh well, an occasional late day never hurt anyone.
- >You take your normal seat and toss the paper lightly onto her side of the table.
- >Turning to watch her cook, you see her pouring all of her energy in making sure the food is perfect just like she tries to do with everything else.
- >After a few minutes of silence other than the sizzling of food, she carefully portions the food out onto three plates.
- >Turning yourself around in your chair, you face the doorway to the main room.
- “HEY SPIKE, GET YOUR SCALY BUTT DOWN HERE, IT’S TIME TO EAT!” you yell as loud as you can.
- >Twilight just giggles at your antics as she levitates the three plates to the table.
- >”Couldn’t you just have gone to get him?” she asks, eyebrow raised.
- “Feeling pretty lazy today. Plus it’s fun to yell,” you reply, a smile stretching across your face.
- >She just shakes her head at you, sitting down and pulling the paper up to read.
- >”I’m going to go eat upstairs, ok Twi?” Spike says as he rushes in, grabs his plate, and heads for the door again.
- >”Sure, just make sure not to make a mess,” she replies.
- >Once he’s out of range she continues, “Not like he’d listen to me even if I said no anyways.”
- >The meal is pretty quiet as you take your time stuffing your face.
- >Must have been a lot hungrier than you thought.
- >After finishing, you push the plate a little out and let out a sigh.
- “I don’t know how you do it Twilight, but your cooking is always so awesome.”
- >She just lets out another small chuckle as a reply.
- “So, didn’t really ask you yet, how was last night for you,” you ask, curious to see how she felt about going out with everyone.
- >The paper slowly sinks to the table and the aura around it disappears, Twilight looking at you with a huge smile.
- >”It was great. So much fun just dancing and having a good time.”
- “Glad to hear. Sorry you didn’t end up finding that special somepony.”
- >”Huh?” she looks at you, complete confusion on her face.
- “Yah,” you continue. “Rarity and Fluttershy were telling me all about it last night.”
- >”R-Rarity and Fluttershy said that?” she asks, a light blush creeping across her face.
- “Yah. Rarity asked me what I thought of your dress. Told her it looked cute on you and asked her if you were trying to hook up with someone,”
- >”O-Oh…” she shuffles her hooves around a little, the blush getting a little deeper.
- “She replied something like ‘I guess you could say that’,” you say in a mocking tone laughing lightly.
- >The blush just keeps getting darker on her face.
- “Are-Are you blushing?”
- >”N-No, what are you talking about?” Twilight replies, her hooves waving in front of her face.
- “Haha! You are! Aww, Twilight’s embarrassed about trying to find a coltfriend.”
- >Her ears press to her head and she puts on a pouting face, the blush still clearly visible.
- >”Stop Anon,” she demands.
- “It’s just so good,” you say, poking her warm cheek. “You’re so embarrassed.”
- >”I’m telling you to please stop Anonymous,” she says firmly again.
- “Somebody’s in a bad mood. You just look so cute when you’re all angry like that,” you poke her cheek again.
- >”Grrrr,” she growls at you. “That’s it!”
- >You feel yourself enveloped by Twilights magical aura.
- >Slowly you’re dragged out of the kitchen and towards the front door.
- “Come on Twilight, I’m just messing with you a little. Don’t take it so hard,” you plead.
- >All that comes from her is a ‘humph’ as she continues to drag you along.
- “Twilight, please, I’m sorry. I didn’t know you would really be that annoyed by that,” you try to plead with her again.
- >All it gets you is a loud slam as the front door shuts in your face.
- >Probably shouldn’t have been so tough on her.
- >She’ll get over it in a day or two.
- >Time to dig up some info on why she’s so embarrassed by it.
- >A 20 minutes later, you find yourself at Sweet Apple Acers.
- >Applejack can’t lie right? Should be really easy to get some answers out of her.
- >You start wandering about in the fields keeping an eye open for AJ and an ear open for the sound of hooves slamming against wood.
- “Hey Big Mac, you see AJ around?” you shout as the big red pony carrying a cart of apples comes into view.
- >”Eeeyup,” he replies stoically, continuing to make his way to the barn.
- “Where at?” you ask, knowing you should be a little more precise when talking to him, what with his short answers.
- >”South fields,” is his only reply.
- “Thanks!” you shout as you start to jog towards to south field.
- >After making your way to the southern field, it only takes you a few minutes to find the orange mare bucking trees.
- “Hey AJ, you mind if I talk to you real quick.”
- >Her hind hooves slam against the tree, the entire thing shaking and the apples falling into the baskets bellow.
- >After her hooves touch the ground again, she starts to walk over to you, removing her Stetson and wiping her brow.
- >”What can I do for ya Anonymous?” she asks, the southern drawl rolling off her tongue.
- “Is Twilight really secretive with you guys about her personal life?”
- >”I recon she ain’t. That girl is usually more open than a window on a hot day.”
- >Awesome.
- ”So, Rarity and Fluttershy tell me she’s looking for a coltfriend. I gave her a little teasing about it, but is she really looking for a coltfriend?”
- >”Ah guess you could say that,” AJ replies.
- “What’s that supposed to mean?”
- >”You could say she’s lookin’ for a special somepony,” she replies, a worried look spreads across her face.
- >Now you want some of the juicy details.
- “She been on any dates lately or have her eye on anyone?” you ask, hoping maybe you could help her out.
- >”Well, she’s got her eye on a certain somepony.”
- “Do tell,” you say smiling.
- >”Let’s just say its somepony close ta her,” she replies, the frown still on her face.
- “Got a name?”
- >”Sorry Anon, Pinkie Promised I wouldn’t talk about that ta anybody,” Applejack says as she tilts her head and pulls her hat down slightly.
- >You got some info, now it’s time to talk to the others. Maybe they’ll let something else slip.
- “Alright, thanks for the info,” you say, turning to walk back towards town.
- >”If ya don’t mind me askin Anon, why’d ya ask me about this?”
- >You turn your head and look back at her.
- “I kind of made her really angry at me when I teased her about it earlier and I’m trying to think of a way I can make it up to her,” you tell her with a sheepish smile.
- >”Oh, well good luck,” she says turning back to her work.
- >After talking with Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy, you’re no closer to finding out more about who Twilight has her eye on.
- >Why can’t they just tell you? It’d be so much easier to set her up on a date with him if you knew who he was.
- >With the sun setting, you find yourself back at Twilights house.
- “Hey Twilight, I’m sorry about earlier! I really didn’t mean to hurt your feelings!” you yell as you pound on her front door.
- “Come on Twi, just let me back in.”
- >The lock clicks and the door opens.
- >Instead of Twilight standing behind it, your gaze is met by a small purple and green dragon.
- >”Hey Anonymous, what’s up!” he asks, a closed claw extending out to you.
- >You bump your fist against it and start to make your way in.
- >”Sorry dude,” he says standing in your way. “Twilight told me not to let you in tonight. She seemed pretty mad,” he says apologetically.
- “Aww, for real? Come on, just let me though Spike,” you plead.
- >You’ve been doing a lot of pleading today. When did you become such a baby?
- >”Sorry man, just come back tomorrow. She didn’t say anything about tomorrow.”
- “Alright, see you tomorrow then.”
- >With that, you make your way home for a peaceful night.
- >Well, it would be peaceful if Rainbow wasn’t sitting in your living room.
- >”Hey Anon, what’s up!” she yells as you enter the living room.
- >She’s just sitting on the couch watching some show.
- “Can’t say I expected you here,” you say dropping yourself on the couch next to her.
- >”I kinda needed a place to crash and you weren’t home, so I just snuck in through your window,” she says, sadness overshadowing her voice.
- “Can’t stay at your own home? What’s up with that?”
- >She turns the TV down a little so the two of you don’t have to shout over it.
- >”Soarin is over there camped out in front of my house. I’m so mad at him I don’t even want to see him,” she says, forelegs crossed over her chest.
- “Why not just push by him and go inside?”
- >”That idiot won’t let me. I wish he would just disappear,” she replies practically spitting it out.
- >Fuck it. You know what? If Twilight is going to go after her special somepony, why shouldn’t you?
- >Today is the day. You’re finally going to do it.
- >You feel your nervousness start to rise up, almost causing you to shake as you slowly formulate what you’re going to say.
- >”A-Anon, you alright?” Dash’s voice brings you back to reality, her hoof waving in front of your face.
- >You turn to look at her, your eyes meeting hers.
- “Why do you even stay with him if he causes you so many problems?” you say with a shaky voice.
- >”I dunno…” she replies tilting her head down slightly, her eyes trying to avoid your gaze.
- “You deserve so much better. That guy is a fucking loser Dash. He doesn’t deserve you at all.”
- >”W-Where’s this coming fr-“
- >You cut her off and continue.
- “You’re wasting all your time and love on someone who doesn’t even love you like-”
- >”And who does deserve me then Anon?” she asks slightly irked. “Sure, he may be an idiot sometimes, but I still love him. Usually you’re a little more supportive of us.”
- “You always come over her and complain to me about him, about how bad he treats you,” you say, your voice rising slightly.
- >”It’s because I have to let out a little tension sometimes!” she shouts.
- “It’s like all the time! If he causes you so much tension, why are you with him?” you yell back, getting into her face a little.
- >”Well then all knowing Anon, who does deserve my love? Huh? HUH?” she screams, her wings lifting her up into the air and pushing her closer to you, her eyes showing an anger you haven’t seen before.
- “M-Me!” You yell back, finally letting it all out.
- >”Y-You?” she says, calming down slightly at this, her face switching from anger to confusion.
- “Yah, me,” you say with a little more confidence in your voice.
- >She gives you a small smile.
- >”Hehe, nice one anon. You almost had me there. Jokes are always a good way to cheer me up,” she says, her smile growing wider as she punches you in the sholder.
- >She thought it was a joke, the whole thing. All of your feelings for her just a big joke.
- >”Anon?” she says, waving her hoof in front of your face again.
- “It’s not a fucking joke,” you say quietly.
- >”What was that?” she asks, not hearing what you said.
- “It wasn’t a fucking joke.”
- >The smile is wiped off her face instantly.
- >”A-Anonymous, I didn’t kno-“
- “Get the fuck out,” you say menacingly, cutting her off.
- >”I-I didn’t mean it like th-“
- “Get the fuck out, you asshole!” you scream at her.
- >She looks like she’s about to be killed. The amount of terror you instilled in her is enormous.
- >She all but zips out of your house, leaving you to stew in your rejection, your pain, and your shitty anger.
