  3. [20:57] Still, she avoided his most fatal strikes. With every other ability, she was trampled. The explosions connecting to deal great damage, the manipulations of darkness entirely overpowering her. Still.. she managed to avoid his blade.
  4.
  5. Teeth gritted firmly together, he was clearly exhausted. Heavy panting escaped parted lips.
  6.
  7. "I.. will.. have.. this.. essence."
  8.
  9. And he would. Still, the deal was that she couldn't be scratched. He trampled her in every way, she would not be obliged.
  10.
  11. Though he wouldn't quit either, unless she chose to flee. He at least required the space to simmer down, the darkness shrouding his heard needed to fade before he could return to morality.

  13. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  14.
  15. [21:19] There was a sigh as she felt the tethers shift away. Of course it'd be done in such a way that she'd not be able to make good of her deal.
  16.
  17. Which was more useful than actually gaining it.
  18.
  19. Then another thought occurred to her. She'd just fulfilled Anabelle's request. Make someone do something they would not. The furious demon before her was a far cry from the normal calm and collected figure he often was.
  20.
  21. She brought a hand to her arm, trailing down it softly. She could feel that it was hurting. Pain radiated along it as she looked at him. The small details was it? Well she could understand that.
  22.
  23. When next she made a bargain it wouldn't have such loopholes. Stricter, more secure, without room to be wiggled out of. Her hand then shifted towars Sicks, she'd wrap it slowly in the air, the fingers beinding inwards as she did so.
  24.
  25. "Your soul is delicious.~" It was perhaps a taunt from the weary woman, slowlyshe licked her lips. No doubt she could keep going but at this rate she was starting to feel it pointless.
  26.
  27. There was perhaps another way she could aid him, after all she'd showcased her own blessings from the Dark Lord. Though, perhaps there was a middle ground that could be struck.
  28.
  29. Her hands waved to the side and when they did he could feel the breaking of her tethers. With a little twirl she'd wave her hands through the spirits in the land. She saw them, formless shapes vaguely reminiscent fo what they'd been in life. "Essence, so great in it's overflowing power."
  30.
  31. She was pulling that essence form the air, the very ground beginning to corrupt and darken. A cracking coming from the dirt as it seemed to fade. "The bargain was first struck and it was not upheld by the fates! Wording and meaning lost in translation but..."
  32.
  33. With a little shift she'd flitter closer to the demon. Her hands coming up, to pointpalms at him. "I keep my oaths." As she spoke she'd reach out a hand, placing it upon the blade. Trailing it along it's length, and as she did so the spirits from the very air was funneled into the cursed weapon.
  34.
  35. A ghostly glow enveloped the weapon for a moment as the witch weaved her own essence into the spiritual one's being pulled to her. Her eyes, alight with the phantoms shifted from that gorging blade to Sicks.
  36.
  37. "Essence, given willingly." It was clear she was starting to wear own. Exhaustion often came from the letting of essence and after hours of battle this was no difference.
  38.
  39. "I could give you more, so much more if you desired." It was probably the fact he'd lost his composure that was what caused this change of pace. After all, that was human. She could relate to it.
  40.
  41. As her fingertips reached the tip of the blade she'd simply take a step out of it's reach. Quick as the winds as she moved, faintly the howling of dark spirits could be heard as they perished with her act. "But, a real bargain would be struck."

  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [21:27] He huffed heavily between clenched teeth. Those crimson hues flickered occasionally, it was obvious he was becoming exhausted. This constant battling against one who simply would not break no matter how often she was trampled around. Even as she moved forward to offer her essence, it somehow wasn't enough to quell his rage. Those dark tendrils shifting about his figure still motioned about, even as that spirit indulged upon her essence and her voice silenced in his mind.
  46.
  47. In this moment, the wanted the witch dead.
  48.
  49. It was the corruption that came from a lack of control, offered by exhaustion. However, he'd fight to resist.
  50.
  51. "Go..."
  52.
  53. He hissed between clenched canines. Every fiber in his being commanded he kill her. No holding back for a single swipe, take her head in a rampant onslaught.
  54.
  55. He knew he didn't truly desire that.. however if she didn't heed his warning and leave, giving him time to control this tainted state of being.
  56.
  57. He was going to actively kill her in this Vale.

  63.
  64. [21:38] Oh, she knew that he wanted her dead. She was well aware of it and that made it all the more enjoyable. It was pretty much proof that she'd done what Anabelle wanted. In her won way at-least but still.
  65.
  66. Unless when she said no magic she meant at-all.
  67.
  68. "Think about it."
  69.
  70. It was at that point that she chose the wise choice. After all it was getting clearer that he wasn't going to be able to maintain composure.
  71.
  72. So into the night she went.
